I've been on the computer for about three years. And it's always been at 100, even in the dark.

Yeah, same here. I think it's because the mods are trying to fight inflation by increasing the ammount of gold you get per post.

True... I mean, they could all travel down to Anaheim, California and protest. Now, that would be extreme. Also... we're all granted free speech, under the U.S. Constitution... and possibly various other national constitutions. So, it's not as though they're out of line in making a petition or anything. They're just using organization to their advantage... even if it won't succeed in getting anything done. Also, petitions have been made in the past for various other things... from different hair styles to who is better: the V-twins or Gambino.
Also... why accept bad things? Not to say that the new layout is bad... but, we're given the right to protest for a reason. To right wrongs, and cause our governments to realize national flaws. I mean, if I just woke up and decided to simply accept genocide and all other worldly evils, I'd just about die.

M a k i e Do you ever go outside Don? DX The sun is wayy brighter than this layout. Besides, you can easily wipe out the problem of brightness, but the fact that you might need to get glasses because you're hurting your eyes by reading in the dark is permanent. So, the brightness issue can easily be wiped out by turning off the brightness of your screen, and it also lights up the dark room so you can read better. Either way, this issue of the layout doesn't matter since both oppositions can argue this point to the death and you'll never reach a decision. This is another reason why I consider Buddah one of the best people who ever lived in this world. He was so content to his life, accepting change, good or bad. And I'm figuring that out too. I'm content with my life, and there have been a lot of terrible, bad, shocking and sad news, but I got over, and I accept all of those things that happen. I know every one can't accept change, but you're never GOING to accept change if you don't even try or give that change a chance. And how am I overreacting if I'm just arguing the points? Every one else out there is doing it too. And I'm not making a big deal about this, I'm just soo sick of people ranting on about how terrible this layout is. It's pathetic. And my brightness is still at 100 too! >W< Sunlight is one thing.. plain WHITE brightness coming directly from your computer screen (especially when the lights are off) is a completely different thing. I've never ever gotten a headache from sunlight, not when I was just at the beach, not when I was in a pool, or not even after hours of playing soccer or basketball... whereas, 3 hours with the new layout on 100 practically gave me a seisure @_@ People are just expressing their opinions on the layout.. it's normal.. and I'm sorry for all that's happened to you and how you've had to learn to deal with it, but you'll also need to learn that not everything is as big as some things that happen in real life.. you shouldn't try to force yourself to learn to "cope with a new layout on Gaia"... that really doesn't make any sense to me, not in my ideology... People are going to b***h about minor things they don't like, that's a part of life too.. I think that more important than learning to accept change, is learning to accept other's opinions.

I agree with that but....its gaia ...itss not like it affectes are lifee so much that it needs to be changed.People need to suck it up and just deal with tthe change...its just an internet site..
