Atem scowled slightly, patting Nanu's cheek. "What are you nervous about?" Bakura shifted a little, and then his eyes flashed open. He sat upright, looking a bit scared, and then saw Femi next to him. "What's going on? Where's Mariku?" He wasn't exactly asking Femi these things, but he was looking around for Rei.

Rei had fallen asleep sitting up. She was sitting beside bakura."The scary man went away" femi said.
"Well...What about Mie?" Nanu said.

"Did he hurt any of you?" Bakura asked, prodding at Rei. Atem had a look like, 'what about her?' "She'll be fine too. You can hold on to her for a little bit if you'd like."

Nanu smiled softly as she looked down to mie. It was her first child so she had every right to be nervous.
Femi shook her head."No he just took your horsie and went." femi said. "He say mommy not look good..."

"I should probably go now." Atem said, patting Nanu's shoulder. He wanted to stay, but knew that it would be better if he let her rest. He had plenty of other things to do. "You can send the servants away at any time you want." "He won't be coming back soon. Don't worry about him." Bakura said, patting Femi's head when he saw that prodding Rei was getting him nowhere.

Femi noticed her mother was sleeping and looked to kek who was sitting near by rolling a ball "Brother did a snake bite mommy?" She asked. Once while out playing a snake had threated her and her brother. Her mother had been able to kill it but not before it bit her. She had slept a long time after that. Kek shook his head "No snakie"

Bakura, deciding that Rei was probably just really worn out, got up to his feet. As far as he could tell, he was unhurt, which was good. There were thoughts flying through his head, though. When did Mariku get back? And why? Did Seto do it? No, Mariku had said something about the gods. What had he meant by that?

Bakura jumped slightly at the unexpected touch, and thought for a second that he was going to try and shake Femi off. Then he realized who it was. He bent down, picking her up. "Is everything all right?"

"A huh" femi said and hugged herfather. Seening his father was up kek droped the ball and ran over.

"You guys are overwhelming." Bakura said, deciding to sit down for now. He dropped to the ground, cross-legged, and set Femi down next to him.

Femi blinked and looked up to her father confused at the big word. Kek moved beside his moved and tugged on her sleave "Mama?" Rei groaned forsing her eyes open "Yes hun...Oh bakura your awake!" she said and hugged him.

"I suppose I am." Bakura sighed, hugging Rei back. "Is everything okay?? Mariku didn't cause you any trouble, did he?" Yes, his children had already confirmed this, but who would trust toddlers?
There was a sharp knock at Seto's bedroom door. The bruette winced slightly at the sudden, loud noise, and blinked a few times as he woke up. Someone warm was next to him. Who...? Oh, right. Ayira. He struggled to remember what had gone on.
"Lord Seto. The queen has just given birth. The pharaoh has a new daughter." A servant called through. It was sort of late, but Atem didn't want to wait until later to have the news spread.
