sasuke1155 Nintendo_fanatic SasukeOfHell I can't wait! But I'm kind of sad because Roy and Marth isn't in this one... Ike's taking their place... (silent scream...) Marth and Roy were my least 2 favorite characters in Super Smash Bro's Melee because of their plain attacks, to me they were only useful in the sandbag mini game (roy was best) because he could hit lightly and he had a powerful charge slash. Marth is Awesome, Roy is not so much, but there attacks are plain I will agree on that, Marth is one of the best characters in the game technically speaking though.

Pre-release review.
Brawl is the latest in the long line of Smash Bros. games. With some of your favorite character coming back along with a newer bunch you can almost automatically put it as a want. Also the have broken down the third party barrier, Snake is joining the brawl!
The fields have a bit of a makeover too. From the new and enhanced Pokemon Stadium 2 to the wacky fun of Warioware you'll see a new look to fields that make them more than just a battle arena. On that note there's also
the new My Music feature that will allow you to change the music played in that field to other songs from that game series. You get these songs by collecting CD's which is an item that you should always race for.
Story mode is also an actual story now. It is called the Subspace Embassy. It is filled with enemies,fields,bosses,adventure,cut scenes, and the type of stuff you see in Sonic games. There's also something big with Metaknigt's ship,but that hasn' t been said yet.
Items have the same stuff. Hammer,Pokeball,Fire Flower. However they have also brought back the Bumper and added some new items like the Golden Hammer and the Smoke Ball. Assist trophies add a new flair to the game as characters pop out and do whatever they do.
Finnaly, the main concerns with this game are the wi-fi and that the Wii won't be able to handle all the action. Well I now that the Wii can handle the action, however the wi-fi question still stands.
I give this game a 5 out of 5.

I'm actually wondering how the Wario Ware stage will work.
How will it switch from microgame to microgame.
The the screen just automatically swtch, or will it fade to black?
If each Brawl Mircogame lasts only 5 seconds like it's WW counterpart, that's going to lead to alot of seasures, from the stages' flashing screen.
FLASH new microgame, FLASH new microgame, FLASH new microgame.
....yeah.
Just thinking about it makes my head burn with anticipation. whee
An speaking of stages, there IS one that has been featured in the games first trailer hasn't been offically anounched or even talked about by us Culties. No, I don't mean the Mario Kart one, I mean this one!
Behind Snake. I'm willing to bet it's his stage, that's why they barely show any of it. It looks wintery an mountainish though. Could be awesome.

bleu_flame has anyone noticed the globe in the backround of the tourney mode pics? that possibly might be an online hint for tourney (i could be wrong) Edit: and does anyone remember what they said? Anyway, I'm fairly sure that Animal Crossing character rumor is true. In Famitsu, there ARE scans I've seen of an interview with the creator of the Animal Crossing franchise about Animal Crossing Wii.
At the end, according to someone that translated the article, they asked him about a AC character in Brawl, and he said yes.
So that's good evidence.

Tbshane Wait... I thought they changed the name "brawl" to dojo = ...uh, no. Sorry, bro. It's a little late now to change the name so late in development, and I'm pretty sure the artwork they show on IGN.com for the game (whether or not that's official or not, I can't say exactly) is going to be the main game box design, specifically saying it's "Brawl". The "dojo" name most likely refers to the website as the "central" facts of brawl; what would make sense is if they had a "posting" system on the website to more match the website name, but that's just my opinion.
