Mizaki had been listening intently as he ate his sandwich "It's because you are afraid to let people see just how 'abnormal' you really are. People like us, who have much stronger abilities, often have that issue. With power, comes the curse of bearing it openly at times, and that tends to cause issues when dealing with 'normal' people"
Marcus took a sip of his shake "Well, um, I, uh, I like to dance, and I'm pretty good at Rugby. I hang out with Anna a lot, she and I went to school in London together. She's my best friend, she's the only one who ever accepted me..." He looked to Kai, then turned and looked out the window, blushing. It felt like the room heated up whenever he was around Kai "Do you play Dance Dance Revolution?"

Annabeth shook her head "I know how you feel. When we were, like, in London, Marcus and I were, like, the most popular two people in the academy. People often thought we were, like, a couple, but in reality, he's my best friend." She sighed "He, like, came out of the closet two years ago, and everyone suddenly was wary of him. The guys in his dorm, like, gave him a blanket party. I, like, beat them all up with a mop when I found out, and after that, like, almost everyone hated us. He's, like, never talked to a guy our age since then. But I think he might, like, have a crush on your brother, I've never seen him act so bashful before. It's, like, kind of cute."

Ashley walked over to the table "Dearest sister, this is quite a surprise to see you here with other people. Did you sever the umbilical cord that connects you and that jock strap of yours?"
He turned to Aya, smiling bashfully "Um, hello, Aya, how has the rest of your day been going? I'm really sorry for this morning"

"It's been fine, thank you for asking." She smiled brightly, for all of a moment. "Wait, what did you say about Marcus!? I have to find Kai!" With that she jolted out of her seat and hauled off in search of her brother once more. 'This is bad... If anything awkward happens it could just further put Kai in his shell.'
"Dance dance what?" His left eyebrow shot into the air.

Ashley stood there aghast as Aya ran off so suddenly "That was very odd" He suddenly turned to his sister with an eyebrow raised "Did she say what I think she did? Your jock strap is infatuated with Kai? Don't make me laugh, Kai isn't like the two of you" He sat down, as he turned his attention to Okako "Your acquaintance looks like she has had it rough, I would assume that she has recently had to endure the instruction of Ms. Shioni and Ms. Celestin?"
Marcus turned to Kai "Dance Dance Revolution. You've never heard of it? It originated here in Japan. Its this video game where you stand on this pad with four arrows and you dance to music according to the arrows that scroll on the screen. I'm really good, but I can't compare to Anna." He grinned, as he finished his shake "Actually, I was going to stay at Anna's place tonight, we were going to have our own little party to celebrate the end of the summer vacation. Um, well, maybe, you could join us?" He turned back toward the window, blushing again "I'm sorry, that was too forward of me." He saw Aya as she passed by the window, and he waved to her "Hey, it's your sister."

"Uun..." Okako grunted in affirmation. "I'd be afraid too, if I was her. I swear my mom was right. My family is cursed to find the gays that make homosexuals look bad. I guess I understand why she hates flamers." Okako said.
"Did that sound like a request? Get down. Now." Shizue demanded.
*"行けないわよ。迦楼羅様は凄く強い女性ですわよ。それに「今野恭介が大嫌いだ！」と言いましたわよ。"

Anna shook her head, glaring at her brother "And what would a dork like you know? All you do is sit and read and keep to yourself all the time, I wouldn't expect an insensitive computer like you to understand something like friendship!" She got up abruptly, grabbing her purse before turning to Okako "I'll catch you later, I'm going to go get some fresh air" She turned and left the cafeteria quickly, out to the courtyard and sitting on the bench. she sighed, enjoying the fragrant flowers that filled the courtyard with their sweet scent
Stephanie sighed, laying back against the trunk with her eyes closed "Just go away.....you stupid broad"
"Quit your whining and get your butt down here right now! Just think of what your mother would say if she saw you behaving like this!"Guraha had shown up, and he walked to the base of the tree
Stephanie groaned irritably, and hopped down "Don't talk about mom!" She drop kicked him to the face, knocking him to the ground in a stupor. She walked over to Shizue, her attitude now cold and calm "Alright, I changed my mind."

"Let's go." Shizue said. She led Stephany to the conference room. "Take a seat." She gestured to a chair. "I need to know why you're acting up like this. I wont teach you if you're going to be a time bomb waiting to go off. After all you'll be learning to kill in this class. I cant have any of the students acting out, let alone threatening and assaulting teachers and students, regardless of relations to them."

Stephanie rolled her eyes "Why do you care so much about what I do? You said yourself that some will die in your class. It's bad enough my idiot pop doesn't get it. I have my reasons, I wouldn't expect an old maid like you to understand!" She sighed, clenching her fists "I'll cooperate if it will get you and pops off my back, but stay out of my way as far as Mizaki is concerned!"

"Why do I care? Because every teacher here is responsible for the well being of the students. Yes I said so myself that people will die in my class. However, most are due to accidents or due to actions of careless student, such as yourself, which is exactly why I care and why wouldn't I understand?" Without hesitating to Stephanie's ultimatum she replied, "I cant do that. He's my student just like yourself and I can't have another episode happening like during lunch today. You could have hurt other students."

Stephanie growled "Fine! Have it your way, I'll just have to take matters into my own hands
Guraha stepped in as she left the conference room "She wasn't always like this" He went and sat down across the room. "She was the sweetest little girl, gentle and polite. But about three years ago, everything changed. I had gone out for a drink with the guys, like usual. When I came home, Stephanie was sitting in the living room, covered in blood and entrails, staring off into space. The entire room was covered in the bloody remains of my wife, and she just sat there, holding my wife's head in her lap. I don't know what happened that night, but I should have been there, I could have prevented it" He sighed heavily "She still to this day won't tell me anything, and she gets enraged whenever I mention her mother. She has closed her heart to everyone, and it pains me to see her bottling everything in, and pushing everyone away from her. I just wish she would open up, to someone, anyone. I worry about her, I mean, what kind of father can't even connect with his own child?" He stood up, wiping his brow, holding back tears "I'd appreciate it if you didn't let Stephanie know I told you all this, she beats up on me enough as it is" He turned and left the room, heading to the Gymnasium
Stephanie quickly made her way to the park area, and left campus. "Stupid woman, getting in the way of everything! And my idiot Pop! how dare he even think of mom!" She looked around and realized she had managed to get lost. The area was strange to her, having never been to Lower Town, and she felt immense power about the place. There was blood and other sinister things littered about the place, and she slowed to a walk, her thoughts all jumbling and running quickly, wishing she could kill someone "I will become strong, I will become powerful, this stupid world full of stupid people, I want to smash the whole thing!" She punched a building, watching it give way and crumble.
Almost instantly, she was surrounded by a gang of demonic-looking men "Hehehe, that's some trick, little girl, have you come to play with the grownups?"
Stephanie grunted irritably, as a Katana was summoned into each of her hands. One was a light golden, while the other was deep blue. "Grownups? Don't you mean 'horse butts'?"
"Why you little, you're dead, you brat!"
Stephanie was swift, as she turned, slicing the man in half. The others rushed her, and she leaped up, slicing their heads off effortlessly. "Weaklings like you don't deserve to live!" She turned and headed toward Infinity Fortress. She felt strange, as if something within were calling her to the place.

Shizue stayed behind in the conference room and thought about what she had just learned.
The lone starship entered Mars' gravity well. In the navigation chamber Am'lock stared out of a view port at Mars. Its dead surface glimmered for a moment. He continued to observe in hopes that it would happen once more. He wanted to get off the the ship and look for relics on what he hypothesized to be a planet with a stealth field generator. It didn't. He sighed heavily, "Navagator, scan this planet." he said and walked to his chambers. Once there he entered his warp energy projection chamber and sat down and thought of the target world: Earth.
At once his consciousness was projected through the warp to Earth. A partially opaque form of his body floated in the high atmosphere above Japan. At once he sensed Stephanie. Her corruption had sent minor ripples through the warp. "Such malice shall make this one an easy target." His projection appeared behind her as he concentrated on her location. "A child!" He exclaimed in amazement. He towered over her, standing nearly seven feet tall clad in his power armor armed only with his daemonically possessed flaming sword, the Deathscreamer. He knew, that she could feel his presence and that was enough. Even if she couldn't he could still warp her mind and use her to do his bidding.

Stephanie looked up at the large figure with a grimace "What do you want? You aren't a weakling, and you aren't here to give me a stupid lecture. Get out of my way, so I don't kill you" She held her blades, but then smirked "Wait, I know. You are a genie, and I get three wishes."
