Caleb went and used the trees for cover while he changed into swim trunks and put on the wetsuit. He put his glasses in their case before putting that away. He made sure to hide his backpack safely nearby. He didn't want anyone coming by and taking it when he wasn't around.

He overheard Maddy asking if they knew how to swim. Of course he did, being from Ambrette Town. He wasn't the greatest swimmer, and there had of course been some incidents...

Then there was her mentioning that they would be needing water type pokemon for this job. He let out his Chinchou from her poke ball. His Mudkip wasn't far behind.

"You're going to come whether or not I want you to right?" Caleb asked him. The Mudkip nodded.

Caleb put goggles on before wading out into the river. His pokemon were at his side. He double checked just to make sure that they were where he could see them, before diving after Maddy. He tapped his Chinchou to give him some light. Just enough to not blind him. He followed her light towards Maddy and the submarine.

Finding the others already beginning to gather around the submarine, Caleb hurried over as well. His Mudkip and Chinchou were right alongside him, pulling on the door together.

Thanks to everybody's combined efforts, the door was slowly pulled open. Once it was open enough for them to slip inside, Maddy signaled for everybody to enter the submarine. Water was pouring in fast.
She slipped inside the sub and waited for the others to climb in before grabbing a hold of the door and starting to pull it close. This was proving to be just as hard as opening it.
"Quickly, guys!" She cried out, water splashing in and filling up the compartment of the submarine she was occupying.

[No reserves. Climb in and help get that door shut!]

As soon as the door immediately swung open, the water sucked Ace into the Submarine. When she got in the sub, she immediately grabbed onto one of the walls. Her squirtle grabbed a hold of the door and Ace immediately grabbed her squirtle's leg before pulling as hard as she could to shut the door tight.

Once the door was shut, Maddy leaned against the side of the room and wiped some sweat from her brow. They were about knee-high in water just from those short few moments.
She sighed. "Let's finish this."
It was rather dark in the room they were in, but the lights above flickered on dimly when Maddy opened a small, water-proofed control panel on the wall and pressed a few buttons. The water in the room with them was slowly siphoned back out into the river and eventually the compartment opened up and let them enter the rest of the sub.
It smelled kind of musty and damp and was quite chilly, as one would expect, but overall the submarine seemed to be in good shape.
Maddy sat herself down in the pilot seat and thrust the key, that she had clipped onto the waist half of her bikini, into the ignition. Turning it, the submarine weakly hummed to life.
"We gotta get her back fast..." Maddy said, pushing a button on the wall above her and causing the submarine to ascend and float on top of the river. The side door flung open and Maddy's Frogadier went to retreive her handbag off the river bank. Once he returned, she closed the door behind him.
"The sub has enough power to get us back to Anistar, but just barely. It may take a while." She told her crew mates. "I even have to steer it manually because there isn't enough power for the auto-pilot."
The submarine shook a little as it's thrusters powered up but it smoothly began to coast up the river.
"Get comfortable, guys."
Maddy leaned forward, as she wasn't the type of person to get too comfortable when sitting behind the wheel, and focused on what was ahead of her. She couldn't shine any lights ahead to help her see in the dark, since it would take too much power and perhaps draw unwanted attention.

[RP end. We shall assume it took a couple hours to get back to Anistar.]

Michael was wandering the city when he looked down at his TADS and realized it was time for the mission. He ran up to the usual meeting spot in Anistar and waited for the Captain to show. Michael's pokemon were right behind him and when they stopped they looked up at him and he looked down at them, before he heard a thud from behind the house. When he went around he could not help himself from laughing. He then quickly took out his sketchpad and beganm drawing the scene in front of him.

Michael stopped drawing when he recieved the call, and was about to say some inappropriate words when the call ended. He then recieved Maddy's message and stormed off towards the meeting place, his pokemon quick to follow.

Caleb frowned a bit as Michael started laughing. He could only assume that they were quite a scene though. He blinked a bit when his TADs suddenly went off. He was laying on his stomach, but it wasn't too much trouble to pull out the device. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he noticed who the hologram was of. The Marshtomp stuck his tongue out at the hologram. They were both more than pleased whenever the call ended.

Then his TADs went off again. Much to Caleb's relief, it was Maddy this time.

"Let's get going then..." he told his Marshtomp. His pokemon nodded before getting off of him. Together they hurried to the designated meeting place.
