He chuckled at his own joke and entered the academy himself, immediately looking up information relating to harmful medical techniques. It was supposedly possible to practice a technique to make it stronger and, if possible, he definitely wanted to do it the pain intensification technique. "Feel free to show off those brush moves," he murmured as he flicked through the scrolls on medical jutsu.

Toso in truth had kept to himself after his outburst in the cafe. He spent the time analyzing Nathaniel as they had walked to return back to this place of knowledge. He had figured in order to be prepared for anything one must analyze everything about ones possible enemies. Furthermore it did well to think of ways to implement this knowledge to bolster existing offenses. The squid essentially went turbo nerd and the subject was Nathaniel. He was no doctor, but it did not take a genius to know what where critical areas of the body were. Still it did show that the squid was knowledgeable of weakness exploitation. Small cuts made to area where there would be ligaments to prevent raising one's arm. Cuts to main aortic regions. xxxxxNathaniel formed a hand sign, forsaking the retraining idea to focus instead on newer skills. He focused his chakra to his hand but it felt different with ill intents. The green chakra had always been a symbol of healing. He put it against his skin and flinched as his muscles seized up, his arm stuck in its position like it'd been frozen. Toso explained the use of the brush, but in an almost distant kind of way. He spoke of attacking in such a fascinated, artistic manner that it genuinely sent chills down his spine. He tried to ignore the thoughts of Toso unleashed in the world as he concentrated his chakra to one hand. It was a thin, controlled layer. He practiced a jab through the air and saw it split into two directions as short streams. This technique, struck at someone's chest, would deflate their lungs almost instantly. He was a bit amused that Toso brought up tickling; he knew the squid resorted to it too often. He concentrated on the feel of his chakra has he pointedly moved to face away from Toso. This technique was long-range and could hit the squid if he wasn't paying attention- and he did seem fairly invested in his own mind. A sicker corner of the mind, Nathaniel realized, as the squid mentioned fetishes. "If you enjoy laughter so much, why not just try being a comedian? I hardly think tickling is necessary..."
He quickly turned his head to make sure the squid wasn't sneaking up on him to tickle him. It'd be risky too, since this technique caused burns and illness. He put his wrists together, palms out, as he listened to his squad leader. It was getting very easy to split focus between conversing and training, thankfully. He flinched at the term bondage and shot the x-ray outwards. The chakra formation flew to the opposite wall and charred it. The genin bit his tongue to avoid making an 'x marks the spot' comment. "You are a very, very open ninja," he observed as he flipped through the scrolls for more techniques. "I can't say I've discovered anything of that nature for myself." He furrowed his brow in thought, though it was anyone's guess as to whether it was invested in the current topic or in jutsu. His eyes widened at a particularly dark technique.
"Maybe glasses, I guess." He shrugged as he put the scroll on the floor to learn it. "I've never seen anyone look worse in 'em." He started copying the hand signs in the scroll. Toso laughed, it wasn't the usual laugh. As instead of a bloop it was replaced with the more common heh heh although it was said in a very deep mysterious way. "Quite innocent aren't you Nathaniel-kun. A comedian?" During Nathaniel's search for further techniques and the practitioning of the ones he'd set his mind to Toso had fully accomplished his goal. The carving was far from exquisite but one could make out what it was. It was feminine in figure, it bore what seemed like long hair, and some facial features. In short it was primitive carving of the bookish woman from the cafe. The end to the cleaving of wood would bring silence back to the Dojo between the two men. "A comedian gives his audience the choice of laughing. Bloop. While a person of my taste..." The final distinctive sound of wood being cut then a clunk on the ground. With the severing of the head came what seemed to be sparkly bubbles hovering over Toso's head. He seemed to be 'at peace' finally with his grudge long gone. At least it was good he alleviated himself of his personal aggressions in a way that didn't involve maiming the real thing. Right? "Well then Bloop. How about we move on with this chat among men? Bloop." Toso would then find one of the corners of the dojo in which where he would sit with a peaceful disposition opening small booklet. The booklet of course was the Hojo guide he'd been given by his father before his long arduous adventure to the cloud. He of course had received several questions as to why not go to the leaf or mist taking into their closer proximity. Still that remained a mystery.[Fountain Spit 3/5]
Toso in truth having felt he had covered a fast majority allowed from his skill set thought there was little to go from where he was. With such thinking the only thing to do was review. Toso began skimming the blends and techniques within his Hojo clan hand book and with his brush began to write in some of his own techniques. The book of course was a culmination of his fathers teachings, with his mothers, and even his sisters. It was his duty now to fill the little hand book with his own creations. Each page, each blend, so far it had seemed he'd mastered them all aside from the ones that were overly too complex for him to handle currently. [Fountain Spit 4/5]
Then came one page. It seemed to have been stuck together with ink. Pulling the two apart Toso realized it was in his father handwriting. What he bore witness to were the same exact techniques he'd had thought original. The vein of competition and slight anger of having been outdone by his father. Still Toso could say one thing. His execution of the fountain spit proved a lot to understand than his father's. To make matters all the simpler he'd omit his fathers and replace it with his own. Yup, right there, none of this, let's just give him a swirly mustache here. In the process of his artistic representation of his father's being 'improved' Toso would finally return to subject of beliefs between men. "A popular belief of mine. Since I was young. He tried to measure the length of the field of chakra surrounded his hand. It was a little too long. The technique would already have length limitations due to the amount of concentrated chakra needed to, well, deafen somebody. He turned his head at the sound of Toso's voice and paused his own experimentation to take in his comments. It was a topic that could lead to a psych eval. Well, if they even did those anymore. [3/4]
"I'm... not sure there are colors at all," Nathaniel said as he worked on his technique again. "I don't believe good or bad people exist at all. Just people." He flicked his hand around and saw that the orb of chakra followed at an exact length, though when he used the technique in the field, he would do so with more caution. "I guess it's a little silly to remove a moral compass altogether." Personally, he liked Toso's viewpoint. It made perfect sense, really. No one could spend an entire life, all of their energy, all of their time, into one set course. Yet, he couldn't say for sure that there were such courses to begin with. "Maybe I just don't want to take responsibilities for every wrong thing I've done, but it's just difficult to measure intentions and outcomes for morality." His academy teachers could agree that he wasn't that good at math to begin with. They wouldn't say much besides he had good control and a habit of collecting weird things. "I mean... Some people think killing is wrong no matter what. Some people think it's fine in self-defense, and others think it's fine if it prevents more death in the future. If everyone's perspective is different, there can't be one definition of right or wrong. Because of that... I don't think there's a definition at all." He sighed and rubbed the back of his head. He would probably figure out the morality thing before he figured out Toso, he had to admit.

"True Nathaniel-kun but that's what makes it all the more enticing finding someone who is. Bloop" He chuckled to himself as if to say such things would not deter him from his pursuits of the tickly kind. "Morality is always a strange subject. What is right and what is wrong is always so heated wouldn't you think. Bloop. Who's to say what is justice, right Bloop? But in society as it stands currently the one who decides what is right and what is wrong. Is the winner." Almost speaking in a philosophical manner the squid stood with his entries complete. He put his brush away not something he'd commonly do as most of the time he channeled his techniques through it. Instead for the following Toso opted to use hand signs there was no need to be discreet after all. He wasn't very skilled when it came to Genjutsu. Ideally he stuck to learning only those that created a greater opening but just this once he'd practice this talent. [1/3]
Toso would continue to speak as he began forming hand signs. As he did the room would slowly begin to twist and alter. It was being made plainly obvious that this was a Genjutsu but Toso wouldn't solely make Nathaniel subject to it. In truth he found the learning center had become a dreary place. One can only stare at the wall for so long before it becomes too dull to handle. At least for an artist like Toso this was the case. The walls began to fade vanishing as if reality itself was changing. As if the place they once were had never existed. [2/3]
Then a flash or what would seem to be a lapse in memory would overcome Nathaniel and Toso. The room they were once in had become a forest. It was by no means a traditional forest though. With Nathaniel fully knowledgeable of the technique or rather it's use there was no reason for it to affect him in it's entirety. The bark of the trees were are blue, the leaves were altering in a rainbow of color. The grass was red with hints of orange. Animals were even included but they to were unnatural shades. Nathaniel's perceptions of color were painting Toso's lack thereof. While Toso himself could not indulge in the colors the scenery would have been more than enough as he breathed it all in. "Wha-" He looked around and saw Toso's hands together. It was the squid, then. A forest surrounded them with odd colors. It was a memorable sight, especially considering the squid's color blindness. Nathaniel wondered how this looked to him then, shades of gray flickering back and forth. The odd sight didn't hinder Nathaniel's focus too greatly, the water funneling into a column, albeit sloppily. [3/4]
Toso mentioned gods and warmongers, and the morality discussion came back to the front. Nathaniel didn't want to ask the obvious 'is there even a god' question, and instead redirected the conversation like he redirected the water column into a series of spears that drilled forward. They pierced through the air until they made it to the wall, exploding into water drops. "Power can't lie in brute force. I mean, if every kid and genin and all questioned the morality set before them, it wouldn't have any power. A lot of people kind of... ignored the authority during that ice storm. Just to show playfulness and good humor Toso mimicked Nathaniel, although he seemed to have a significantly easier time doing so. Inadvertently Nathaniel himself acted as his mentor for the technique. Where it took Nathaniel longer to mold the Chakra Toso did so just as fast if not faster. He'd have Nathaniel to thank of course. However, his structures seemed to have been molded in a reckless fashion. By reckless they were containing a slight bit more chakra then they should have. xxxxx"Giant-san?" Nathaniel looked at the squid as if his face would hold any clues. He only seemed to be focusing on the spear technique, learning it faster than the medic had. He glanced over at him as he used some of the water left over from the spear technique. He chose not to respond to the other shinobi's power-related comments, figuring that the conversation would turn really dark if he kept playing into his hands. Keisuke took the missive out of his cloak as he entered the dojo once more. He had been here just hours ago before the pet mission. An ANBU had intercepted him and ordered him back. The only people he saw inside were strangers. He knew there were only four people cleared for the mission, one being himself and the other being his fellow redheaded teammate. Since the pair were neither of the people he knew, he had to assume they were the odd ones out. "Tosokurui Hojo and Nathaniel Atlas?" He looked up from the paper with a questioning expression. He raised the paper as explanation as he walked farther into the room. He noticed a lot of water on the academy floor but chose to ignore commenting on it.

She knew right well she wasn't strong enough to challenge him in her current state so she backed down. Should she have tried anything she would have been made an example of. So now we subject ourselves to penance. Why? Out of fear of being reprimanded by the one with higher power and authority or out of respect for the one who we believe had the more resounding victory. However, it makes you wonder. If Miko had the strength to overcome Giant-san with a greater power and principles who then would have been recognized as the one 'in the right' ?" When Nathaniel finished his execution of the technique Toso would again perform the same hand signs. This time channeling his chakra through the remnants of water. It was unfathomably easy to say the least with Nathaniel having been his teacher of sorts. Now it was turn to return the favor. Toso would remove one of his brushes. It would then glow with a particular blue glow signifying chakra. He then drew a circle on the ground and began to fill it in. However, instead of ink the brush was producing water and Toso was essentially making a small puddle. He'd then move casually by Nathaniel creating a small wet line and create another curious puddle in which he would stand. "Bloop watch closely." Toso would make sure his hands were showing outside his sleeves as he formed the necessary hand signs. When he did, his entire person would melt into water adding to the puddle. Then he'd suddenly re-appear back at the first puddle. "It's important to know the water source has to be connected but these two techniques will allow you to use any body of water as method of transportation. I've also another technique should you may be interested to learn it that proves rather well in 'setting the stage' Bloop.' Ah right. Bloop. He broke his hand signs into essentially two parts. Then provided a quick glance as if to say 'I'll be back or someone will be watching you.' The piece of paper clarified things immediately. "Bloop that we are. The more the merrier. You must be the Keisuke or Inori whom have just been mentioned on this here missive. The more the merrier. Bloop ah..did I already say that?" The squids train of thought had been derailed with the sudden missive distribution and the new arrival he now needed to get his bearings it seemed.

xxxxxAh, right. Everything fell in place with Toso's explanation and he had to give it to him- he knew what he was talking about (at least when he wasn't adding weird nicknames to his speech). The whole power = right discussion had him thinking about how he'd be if he held power over people, but then his focus changed to Toso. He made a puddle of water with his brush. "Is there anything that thing can't do?" He held back on further comments as he watched the line being drawn. Then, Toso disappeared into the puddle and popped back up in the other one with ease. As a new ninja came in the room and grabbed the squid's attention, Nathaniel would let his body dissolve into the puddle through keen chakra control. It always felt weird to be something else, like with the age-old transformation technique. He "moved" around in the first puddle a bit before concentrating on moving between the pools of water. He popped up on the other side and took on a solid form. He waved at the smaller shinobi as he peered over Toso's shoulder to read the missive, his own now covered in a bit of water."Yup, that's us. So we just need... one of you before we start training." He sounded a bit sheepish as he realized he didn't know which name belonged to the kid in front of them. "Well, hey, we got the head start, it seems." He lightly elbowed Toso's side with a grin. "So your squad finished their missions?" There were few things worse than a boring or quiet squad, and although it felt temporary, he wanted them to all get along like a well-oiled machine.
Making her way back into the academy, coffee still in hand, Inori began to search around for Kisu. Though it did not take her very long at all considering he was with two other people. One of which looked like a grade A stalker, and the other bore green hair, interesting. A small smirk spread across her face as he approached,"Yo, Hows it going you guys? I'm Inori, your other teammate." She had gotten the same message that they were going to be training, but despite that she was going to go full hog on it anyway. After all, she had a metric ton of fuinjutsu training to do.

"Yeah, I'm Keisuke." He smiled at the mostly-hidden man and returned the wave to the green-haired one. He shook his head at the question and then shrugged. "I think the rest of my squad, Inori excluded, got pulled for something else. I was intercepted with this missive." He tucked the piece of paper back in his cloak since he had no more need of it. He turned his head to the knew arrival and acknowledge his squad member with a nod. Then he put his hands together with excitement. "So uh, I guess we should get started. I think I'll begin with Hsing-I Pua if anyone else is interested." He looked around the room but wasn't expecting a positive response. No one else in the room looked like they trained in his own arts, let alone this specific style, but that wasn't to say that they couldn't be full of surprises. He placed his staff on the wall by the other weapons and found an empty space on the mat.
He stretched his arms over his head and to the side for both sides. Punching techniques were often considered simple since it tended to be one quick movement. This one involved a little more movement with the rest of his body. He exhaled as he followed the first part of the technique by making a small step forward with his right foot. His body was a little tense as he compressed it, imagining a snake coiling up before a strike.
He held the position for a few extra moments to get used to the feeling. It was very pointed and not a stance he could use universally but was probably not a give away to his movement. He threw himself forward while twisting his hips to carry the momentum better. Right hand thrown as fast as possible at it's same height. He was short enough that it'd land on the average shinobi's chest. (Coiled Snake - X trained D - 2/2)
The next stance seemed a bit silly to him, but this was a praised style and he decided to go along with it. He lowered himself by bending his knees. He kept his left knee raised a bit higher to meet his chest. He practiced shifting his hips side to side like a pendulum. It felt strange but the motion would help with the kick. He swung his hips once more and extended the raised knees as quickly as possible.
The next step was two movements. He tucked his right leg back underneath him as he jumped with the folded left. As he was in the air he kicked out with his left leg like he had with the right. He folded the left leg back under him as he landed, putting him in the original rooster pose. He bent his left knee higher this time to practice each side. He kicked with his left and mimicked his previous movements to land, jump, and kick with his right once more. (Extending Rooster - X trained D - 2/2)
