Sounds like a spiff theory to me. I can see it. It would explain why people trained in years of a particular subject perform poorly when placed in the field where they must quickly exercise what they know. Doing requires action, and actions are not usually quickly performed when not practiced into muscle memory. The typical person isn't thrust into life and death situations on a regular basis, so they would not be able to cope with it as efficiently as they fantasized when answering a question about the topic.

Answer me this: When you dream, whether it be fantasy or not, do you believe that the actions you take in your dreams can relate to ones that you would take in reality?
I'm heading off. Talking about dreams I'm hoping I get the chance to live in one for the night. Though I don't often dream I do enjoy myself even when I don't remember them all. If you reply, I'll read you reply tomorrow. I don't know why but I feel as I should hear what you have to say about that.

It feels like a toss up. The nightmares I have that make me run seem like actions I would realistically take. If something that scary came at your or happened, what choice would you have but to run. When backed into a corner, they get you and you wake up or you fight back as last resort right? Seems like things most people would realistically do. The actions are driven by a panic driven fear. You feel those in the dream and you feel them in real life, so I would assume you would act the same. The other stuff you do or might do in dreams is a toss up though. I wouldn't know why I would physically hurt the people I love on purpose. Stuff like that seems like stuff only for dreams.

I've never actually had a toss up, given the exception of fighting an ice version of Godzilla and struggling with Jason Vorphees and the Predator. I don't think I've had a dream where I physically hurt the ones I care for.
All my dreams, or nightmares, I just consider as dreams. After all a dream can turn into a nightmare and a nightmare can turn into a dream. In truth it's only a made up world that's brought to life within a thoughts moment and the word 'dream' and 'nightmare' is only registered into our vocabulary by someone else. I rambled again..fact is I consider all of them dreams, and within each one I would react much the same as I would in reality - so I believe.
To DarkChevalier: No worries. I'm in the same vote. Whether it be from laziness or confusion i'm having a difficult time finding a post that I would like to bring up. I'll probably just respond to Novama's latest NPC post, but I do have a question.
Maybe I read the posts wrong but..Everyone is currently outside the walls, correct? As far as I know there is no one within the walls of the new WillBe, so are their soldiers outside of the walls now?

Yes, there are soldiers pouring out of the fortress by teleporting from within the building to the outside magical teleportation pad. 3nodding
Any character not living the 500 years will probably be chased by the soldiers unless they are one of the few not with the others. Perhaps they appeared in the barren on the other side of the fortress and they come in from the other side to see what's going on.
