[ Kyle ; Sora ; Riku ; Seymour ; Kuja : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp) ]

"The last two just seemed to want something to do," Kuja explained to Dawn, running a hand through his hair as slowly as he could, playing with it as he did. "Yours, however, just wanted to mope around and whine. Rather grating, really."

"I wonder if they've made one of me," Sora pondered as he sat on the ramp, his legs dangling over one side.

Kyle had stood silently for most of the chatter, his arms crossed and brows furrowed. It was so late, but they still had so much to do...

"I don't think they'll all come at us at once. Not if they're listening to Ajora, or whoever they were listening to originally," he said, looking off to the side, at the massive rock wall of the cover. "If they'd wanted us dead, they've had multiple opportunities, and it's not like they needed the additional forces... unless they're spreading them around."

He glanced over to Joe. "I'm going to check on Atlantica. Even if they haven't started the attack yet, they could still be up to something, and we haven't even looked to Triton, who's on the list. You coming?"

"Probably best if I come along-- he trusts me," Sora spoke up, shrugging. "Especially if your replicas have already stopped by."

[ Ajora : Paris : The Ball ]

Ajora had stood completely still when his presence was announced, his entire body tense and ready to jump at a moment's notice. Those nearby turned to look at him, some even gesturing in respect. Why was he the center of attention in a masquerade, what was the point of being announced, what was going on--

When he spotted the woman on the throne-like chair, nodding toward him, he almost immediately loosened up, even going so far as to sigh in relief (though his stature and poise were unchanged). He strolled around the room, dodging the dance floor (he would not be rude and walk through them!), and made his way to the chair beside Elleon, bowing in respect before taking a seat.

"My, but you have moved up in the world," he mused, glancing out over the dance floor. "What's the occasion?"

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Flying Dutchman ]

A Corridor of Darkness opened up on the helm of the Dutchman, with Ajora strolling out to look over the rest of the ship, looking to see who all was there. He'd left the Corridor open for 'Louis', and the moment he followed through, the portal would have closed. His golden eyes analyzed the ship, feeling out the signatures of Darkness that seeped into the cursed ship.

[Dani :: Shipwreck Cove :: Rose Ramp ]

"Well it looks like there might be a replica of me out there." Dani thought to herself before looking to her side to see Noelle roll her eyes and look away in her direction.

"Looks like I won't be making friends with Noelle for awhile." Dani sighed before getting closer to the group and listening in on the conversation.

When Dani heard Kyle talking about going to Atlantica she smiled before walking over to stand near Kyle. "If you don't mind," the assassin said before looking to the group as well. "I would like to head down there too, I can use water magic so I feel I could feel more useful down in the water then being up here on the boat. It might help us a tiny bit."

[Ashley :: Caribbean Sea :: The Flying Dutchman]

"Holy ****" Ashley said, stirring after someone had come onto the ship. She quickly turned around and summoned her chakrams only to notice Ajora standing there.

"Oh. He showed." Ashley sighed before dissipating the chakrams from her hands. "Sorry for the lack of a reception Ajora. Some of us just stayed here on the boat and waited for your return. I guess the others got bored and left. I stayed because I really got nothing better to do. You looking for someone in particular?" Ashley finally shut her mouth after relaying all of the information that she knew before climbing onto the railing and sitting down on it.

[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Uppermost Balcony]

Noelle smiled up at Joe as he hugged her and told her she was his favorite. He obviously felt the same way she did about wanting to kill things. It was frustrating to feel like they were making no progress in this fight, and then find out that they were falling even farther behind. She had to be honest with herself--it was lucky the Replicas didn't just want them dead. If that were the case they would have already been so.

When Kyle asked who was coming to Atlantica to check on Triton, the agromancer felt torn. She wanted to go, but at the same time . . . she desperately needed sleep. On top of that, she needed to talk to Riku about something. He wasn't really available during their time on the ship so she hadn't bothered him. Looking around now she didn't see him and wouldn't know if he was going to be joining the Atlantica group.

"I don't think I'll be going," Noelle said sheepishly.

[Elleon .:. Delia ~ Paris ~ Beauvais Manor Ballroom]

A sly smile spread across the blonde's cherry-red lips, "We're celebrating the life of my poor Auntie Beauvais. She died just yesterday--poor dear had a nasty kind of fever. Left everything to her little niece, Elleon. I was her only remaining family, you know. So I thought it would be nice to thank her for her kindness and throw this little celebration in her name."

Elleon motioned to the banquet set out before them and Ajora's empty plate before lifting a hand to catch the eye of one of the waiters, "Please, make yourself comfortable and have something to eat. Business can wait, I'm sure you're tired and would like to relax. The servers will be by with your wine momentarily."

Delia leaned forward in her chair, which was placed on Elleon's other side, to get a look at Ajora. She was wearing her own mask and a ruffled blue dress. Her hair was done up in tight spiral curls, much like Elleon's, but she wore no makeup. It wasn't so much as a matter of being too young for it--Elleon had actually insisted--but really she just wanted nothing to do with it.

"Hey, Ellie. Who's the shmuck?" She asked not-so-quietly.

Elleon made a face at her younger counterpart and hissed, "Delia, be polite. Ajora, this is Delia--Delia, Ajora. I had forgotten that you've not met her before."

[Joe: Shipwreck Cove: Uppermost Balcony]

The male blank faced at Kyle's question, before quirking an eyebrow. It was a look that said 'You serious?'.

"Weren't you the one that dragged me to Hawaii in the first place?"

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Uppermost Balcony}

Bobbi groaned and pushed herself away from where she was resting on Dawn's arm, and blinked muzzily at Kyle. Atlantica? With the singing merfolk? And Ariel? If her head wasn't throbbing, she'd volunteer in a heartbeat. As it is, it might take a breath or two.

"How soon you planning to head out?" she asked. Maybe she could get herself some nice, strong, black tea. Or maybe the Rose's kitchen was like the train where whatever she needed would manifest itself, and she could find some SoBe Citrus Energy drink. SoBe was ideal. She'd hope for coffee, but the stuff made her sick, and caffeine really just made her hyper for about an hour before crashing heavily. Not very effective for a scouting and potentially diplomatic mission.

Maybe an Elixer while I'm at it, she thought. I haven't had much of a chance to recharge...

Demyx looked up as the kids continued talking, and listened to the various responses. They sure didn't seem happy, and all this talk about "they could have killed us if they wanted to" was just depressing anyway.

"Count me out," Demyx said when Kyle mentioned going to Atlantica and seeing King Triton. "I'll be... uh... keeping an eye on the ship. Make sure no pirates decide to do anything funny with it. Yeah."

[ Amy : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony ]

Amy looked to Kyle, then to Joe, who she stared at despite an effort otherwise. The memory of her battle with Azrael came unbidden to her mind, and she touched her arms where he had slashed them. Joe was different than his replica, though; the hug drove that home.

And Kyle had really curly hair.

"Why would we go to Atlantica in the middle of the night, though? Couldn't we wait until morning?"

[[Louis : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony]]

The arcanist listened as the conversation took a turn towards Atlantica, and several objections to it, "As much as I understand your enthusiasm, Kyle, I agree with those who say to wait. You can't expect everyone to dive headfirst into another situation without some time to sleep. An army without rest is no army at all... just a mass of moving targets. That said, we're not an army, get some sleep, head out before the sun rises."

Louis walked by and patted Kyle on the shoulder, "You've done well, we all have... there's nothing wrong with rewarding yourself with some shut eye."

[Anthony ~.~ Shipwreck Cove ~.~ Uppermost Balcony]

Anthony walked out of the Red Rose hunched over and groggy, then, stretching his arms out, gave a great big yawn. After the whole men's bathing chamber incident, the young man had joined the others in the training room to help Mathy learn some new moves. He was hesitant at first, since he didn't feel comfortable striking an alley, but it was for the betterment of the group. ...at least, that's what he thought to convince himself it was alright... After that, he napped for a bit, though it was hardly considered a nap. Anything less than 2 hours is not a nap in his book, and between the experiment and the training, he barely got some shut eye.

The knight had missed the bit about the new replicas; however, he stepped out just in time to hear people volunteer about going to Atlantica. He agreed to be one of the few Earthlings to stay on deck and he was going to stick to his word unless otherwise convinced. So he, too, passed on the option. "I'll stay behind and, uh... fend off pirates with Demyx," he said, walking up to the Nobody and resting his arm on the other's shoulder.

[ Kyle ; Sora ; Riku ; Seymour ; Kuja : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp) ]

When Dani offered to tag along, Kyle looked at her for a moment before shrugging. She wanted to come along? Cool, whatever. He'd only intended to ask Joe, hence the look, but- oh, okay, so others thought he was talking to everyone, that's new- okay, seriously, he wasn't expecting everyone to jump in on this to begin with-

And then Louis patted him on the shoulder, causing him to visibly tense. The slow turn with which he cocked his head to glance at Louis was agonizing to watch.

"It's funny. I look to Joe and ask him a question, and apparently I'm expecting everyone to join? Wonderful words being put into my mouth," he responded, the only sign of his frustration being the sheer tangibility of his dripping sarcasm. "Out of curiosity, do you have an entity spawned from the depths of your Darkness scouring the worlds for power, creating more evil spawn, and vocally promising to destroy Atlantis and Atlantic by morning if we don't hurry up? No? Oh, funny, I do."

Grabbing Louis' hand (not with hostility, however) and pulling it off of his shoulder, he moved toward the ledge. "I didn't expect anyone other than Joe to come with me to begin with-- after all, I'm just checking up on it before coming back. I am well aware that not everyone is a night owl as myself, so I had no assumptions that I would be getting any more than him, if even he wanted to come along. Everybody should get their rest-- but me? I couldn't sleep even if I bloody wanted. So if anyone wants to come along, meet me on the docks in ten minutes-- but don't try it this way."

Without further warning, and without caring if they wanted to bother responding, Kyle hopped clear over the ledge, despite the many, many stories separating the balcony from the docks.

"Someone's cranky," Riku muttered, strolling down the ramp, bringing Lexaeus along. The two of them had been sparring in the downtime.

[Joe; Lexaeus: Shipwreck Cove: Uppermost Balcony(Rose Ramp)]

"No kidding, Riku." My, Kyle was crabby...not like Joe could really blame him, though. Especially with what they were dealing with that was right around the corner.

"Don't worry, we'll be back soonish."

And with that, Joe followed after Kyle, diving off the edge of the balcony with a little bit of flare. Why? Cause he could. That and something about the water made him pretty happy, regardless about the reason he was hopping in it.

Lexaeus frowned as he watched the the two males dive off. Well, not because of what they were doing. Scouting ahead made sense. It was more...these were kids. They seemed to not take things seriously for the most part.

Not like Lex could really stand to change anything. He had just joined, and throwing his weight around would probably lead to bad things. There were more of them then of him. So he just silently watched them all.

[ Amy : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony ]

Amy tensed. Nobody had put words into this guy's mouth. It would have been rude to ignore him, if anything, when he mentioned going to Atlantica. What were they supposed to think? Oh, so he was gonna go to Atlantica to check on danger, talking to Mr. I-Look-Like-Azrael-Or-Rather-He-Looks-Like-Me. And the rest of them were just supposed to assume that those two would be perfectly safe and sound, checking on a situation that this guy, Kyle, was concerned about enough to leave in the middle of the night to go look at. But what the hell, guys! Why assume you people needed to come along! He wasn't talking to you!

She tensed more at his justification. He had a replica, the replica was evil, the replica was gonna destroy things. If the tall condescending woman was to be believed, they all had replicas.

Although he wasn't even talking to her directly, more in a general sense, more to the guy who had put a hand on his shoulder, really, Amy felt profoundly insulted, more so because she had no idea that Ajora had threatened anything, and because she had been awake for a grand total of five minutes. Her ignorance of the situation was great.

"How the hell are we supposed to know? Why the hell are you– Why the hell did you jump off the balcony?"

She didn't have to rush over to the balcony to see them descend; she was already there. She leaned over, looking down after them. They probably couldn't hear her, but she added, "What the hell?"

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Uppermost Balcony}

Bobbi grunted at Kyle's outburst. It just seemed to prove that she needed sleep. She hadn't realized Kyle was singling Joe out, having had her head buried in Dawn's arm at the time. She especially hadn't realized this was just a scouting mission, and that they would be back before sunrise. Still, as an Archer, she felt she should be part of the scouting mission (despite what happened last time she tried that).

The situation was made moot by Kyle and Joe jumping off the side of the balcony, just as Riku and Lex showed up. Bobbi shrugged and yawned hugely, covering her gaping maw with the back of her wrist. When the yawn had ended, she turned around, grabbed Dawn by the sleeve, and dragged the Dancer back onto the Rose in search of a place to lay flat and pass out. She looked up as she walked, trying to gauge how much time they had until morning, but couldn't even find East without the stars, and the moon was at just the right angle she couldn't tell which direction it was going either.

Demyx watched the proceedings passively. As people made up their minds what they wanted to do, the Melodious Nocturne brought out his Sitar and began playing it. He made sure he was out of the way of the others, especially when a couple people decided to jump off the edge of the platform.

[[Louis : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony]]

Coveting, amber eyes watched Kyle take his leave before blinking and vanishing. Louis chuckled nervously with a sigh in response to Riku, "Well, that was unexpected..." Louis let his hand fall from scratching the back of his head, "I just didn't want him overexerting himself is all."

Run yourself dry and drop dead.

Louis shook his head, "Oh well... he'll do what he wants. As for me, I'm going to prepare for the battle tomorrow. Anthony," he spoke to the knight as he turned away from the main group with a nod, "I'll be around if you still wish to talk."
