((ok, I'm back))
"Hang on a moment" Giovanni said and let out a sigh.
"Well if it was any other mafia member, Rose probably would be dead now. However, I didn't want to kill her so I tried using a forgetfulness serum on her that I thought had been perfected but unfortunately still had some kinks in it" Anthony said, "so technically the mafia didn't let her go. I did it on my own".

Beans raised an eyebrow. Only for a moment. "So they will indeed be searching for her, and you. That puts you in more danger, Anthony, and her too...."
The men at the zoo. They were definitely Mafia, Beans knew. Who else? Which meant Beans had some faces to identify.
"Anthony," Beans continued, coming back to reality. "We'll also need to hook you up to a polygraph after these questions are over. All I can think of at the moment is for you to write down that information, then the lie detection test. Is there anything else you feel you need to add to the record?"

"I think I was only spared because I have connections with the police, so I'm essential in keeping them ahead...or I was. I can't let them kill Rose. I don't care about putting work before feelings, that was never me" Anthony said.
"I'll take the tests" he added. Anything to save himself and Rose.

"Okay, that's it then." Beans announced, standing up. He walked over to the door, exited the room, and reopened it a few moments later, letting Anthony know he had turned off the cameras and microphones and such.
"You can write down whatever you need to, Anthony, while I got inform the chief about the polygraph. Head to the polygraph room in ten minutes, okay?"
((He can go to his desk, or whatever. Doesn't have to stay in the interrogation room. XD))

Anthony nodded."May I have a piece of paper and a pen then?" he asked rather cheekily.

Beans frowned. "Sure, but I don't have any. Copy room, or Iris - she usually hordes mammoth amounts of paper."
Then Beans left, heading straight to the chief's office. The door was not closed, since nobody was talking with him at the moment, so Beans leaned against the doorway, knocking on the open door. "Interrogation done," he said as he knocked.

Anthony got up and went to look for Iris at her desk.
"Ah, good. Shut the door please" Arthur said to Beans.

Beans placed an old-fashioned video cassette on Arthur's desk after closing the door. "I've also taken the liberty of telling Anthony he'd need a polygraph test. However, I'm not qualified to operate those or ask the questions... I think you need, like, a really - really - dull person who can speak in a monotone for hours... and Anthony is writing down some information as we speak. Anything I missed?"

Arthur shook his head. "No, you didn't miss anything. Rose excused herself after you left. I'll send someone down to give him the polygraph test, though you should have gotten my consent before you told him that" he said.
He took the video cassette.

Beans sighed. "I told him that he would need one. I didn't schedule one, I didn't tell anyone else to prepare the machine. Anthony isn't even heading over there. I told him he would need one, and then I came to ask you."
Sometimes people acted weird, Beans knew. He wondered, sometimes....
"Anyway, obviously, there's still plenty of time for you to say 'no.' I know what I'm doing, Arthur. Now, I think, I'll go talk to Rose."

"Oh, sorry" Arthur said, "well, we'll have one scheduled for him any way. Rose said she'd be calling 'friends' to help 'rob' her house. That way, we can move her to a safe location without it being suspicious".

"One thing," Beans added, stopping in front of the closed door. "Rose is in danger. When Anthony kidnapped her, he let her go - not the Mafia. They'll be gunning for her. I'll be sure to tell her this, but you might arrange for some... I don't know, plainclothesmen or something to keep tabs on her. Protect her. Station plainclothesmen at her apartment and other places she goes often. Or just put her under the witness protection program."
After a pause for breath, Beans continued. "She is in danger, sir. I noticed several people - possibly and likely Mafia - following her and Anthony today. I helped them give the guys the slip, though. I'm going to talk to her about all this, but I figured you might want to assign some people to watch her secretly, without her knowing. She's a stubborn girl, as we both well know."
Then Beans left for Rose's desk.

Arthur sat back in his chair, let out a sigh, and then rubbed his face. This was getting a bit out of hand.
((well, since my characters are not needed anymore and nobody seems to be on any of the RPs I am on who I am conversing with, I'll be heading off for the moment. I might come back on later))

((Well, now I have a decent and unique character. Let's see how this turns out. I'm assuming Angel is at his home... okay.))
There was a knock on the door of the apartment room where Angel was staying. When Angel opened the door, he would find a young hot-shot 17-year-old with two suitcases, an iPod, and the clothes on his back. The boy would look bored, annoyed, impatient, and uninterested in his environment.
The boy was Zeal Maverick, sent by his parents all the way from San Francisco to stay with Angel for a 'week.' But he'd probably been ditched for a few months, knowing them. They would be uncontactable, probably on a cruise of some sort to Japan or China or... whatever.
