You ran into...Well my week's been... interesting.
A random dude came into the charity shop where I work and asked me to marry him.
Another random dude in a pub told me my smile was beautiful. My other half was present, I might add.
My DM said my singing was lovely.
A guy I play D&D with called me cute. As in kid cute. Which I hate. So I hit him with the flollopy sleeves of my hugely oversized coat.
Another guy I D&D said that now I was beating guy no. 1 up, I was even cuter. So I had a tiny paddy. Which made me even cuter. Then the first guy bought me a Kinder egg.
And my guy friend in New Orleans, who's, like, the friend I can tell anything to, told me I was beautiful. ... the doorframe of life!

You ran into...Our DM often finds he has dreams about D&D, or really random scenarios and he'll wake up and go "THAT WOULD BE AN AWESOME ADVENTURE!"
Of course, it helps that our adventures take FOREVER to get through, because our group is... big. Including myself and the DM, there are 8 people in our group. And our half-elf paladin is an idiot. So most of our time is spent trying to convince our pally that (for example) piles cream is NOT lethal against Mind Flayers. His God even told him and he still tried to feed the Illithid the damned piles cream...
Of course, the person who plays him is completely gung-ho, so it's hilarious. ... the doorframe of life!
