Sammy's eyebrows came down further. "You're terrible at apologizing," she sighed, shaking her head. "Just out of curiosity, what happens to everyone in the future?" She knew he had come back for a reason, just nothing specifically.

She knew he had come back for a reason, just nothing specifically. He sums up. "I was on my way up Mt.Coronet when I was killed. Then I floated in a realm of darkness for a long time and ended up back here."

Sammy turned her head to the side, thinking for a moment. She wouldn't mind dying, and she probably deserved it. But... everyone in the world? That meant her little brother, too. "I'm sorry..." she said, trailing off. She didn't know what to add to that. "I guess I'll have to challenge the gym, huh?" she chuckled.

Kisumi walked into HQ, yawning. She had a long fun day at the WetNWild Amusement park, having spent nine hours there. Today was just a relaxing day, and she would have to make up her missions tomorrow. She just wanted to show that she wasn't trying to slack off, and remained active. Sitting down on the couch, she took out a writing pad and began to write a story.
Kage sat curled up beside of her. "Poo..ch..ye..na..(What are you writing about?)" he asked curiously.
"You'll see when I finish," she replied, smiling slightly.
"Pachiii..(I'm in it, right?)" Kai said from his perch on her shoulder. The squirrel pokemon's eyes were glittering happily.

Coming back up from the deeper parts of HQ (where I was cleaning), I take care of my dishes and spot Kisumi in the common room.
"Hey there, Kiddo. I don't think we've been properly introduced yet," I say, "I'm Thard."

"Nice to meet you, Thard," Kisumi says, smiling. "My name is Kisumi."
"Yena! (I'm Kage!)" the Poochyena barked, gazing at the other male.
"Chii! (Kai!)" the Pachirisu retorted, sparks radiating off his cheeks.

"Well well," I chuckle, "your pokemon are certainly energetic, Kisumi. I think you and they will fit in quite nicely around here."
I take a few steps toward the docking bay, then remember something.
"Oh, and I hope you got the message about your rank-up. Your first two missions were pretty good so Brian promoted you to Aqua Grunt."
With that, I pause for a moment and then head to the docks and leave HQ for now.

Kisumi smiled happily. "Great, we're getting closer and closer to the top. Let's keep up our good work!" The girl rose, placing the notebook stuff into her pack. She turned to wave at Memo before she left HQ for the night.

Sammy waddled in, finally feeling the full power of the fight with Mr. Dark. "Ugh, hi everyone," she greeted with the tiniest of waves, plopping down on the floor.

"New rules are almost ready for launch!" Ginji smiled as he walked into HQ beaming. He figured out a way to combine everything. Or at least a way to make everything look pretty.
