All of my family got it, alot of them in the worse areas. I've family in Lake Charles, when Rita got there they got radio silence from there, and no radar feeds.
I'm naturally worried sick, literally.
Mom called they're fine as are my brother and aunt, but I've no word from my Dad and them, or those cousins and whatnot.
Jon got moved from New Orleans to Lake Charles this morning, no word on that from him either.
*sghs and laysback down*
Rita may have been a Cat. 3, but she was bad.
She destroyed several of the bridges near Lake Charles, and there's flooding all over.
Please God let this be the last hurricane.
Sad thing is LA was unprepared, everyone was concentrating on Texas. *shakes head, sighs shakely*-EDIT- THANK GOD! I just randomly called dad and he as at home with the land line hooked up, they're all ok
Minimal damage to his house, My pawpaw's house has a big pine tree down, but our big oaktree caught it and it's leaning over the shop and house, but didn't touch the structures.
Panpan my uncle in Lake charles, evaced and stayed with DAd and them, so he's SAFE
