Wasn't that sweet? Although the cooking on a spit thing got to her for a minute she simply leaned down and patted his head. "Well as you can see I'm perfectly fine. Fine enough for you to cry all over." Destruction level was at an all time high. Joy. It was going ot be quite the place to live now. She picked him up and hugged him tightly like she knew he liked hten set him back down and looked at Piper. "So why is he using your last name then? That doesn't seem like something Malik would do." She could have put a few words in front of hte 'malik' but chose not to. She'd poked at him enough for right now.

Cedric did not know how to respond to that last question, so instead. "Sure, have some nice elvish bread, it will stay your stomach for a good day or two, depending on your eating habits." He removed his light travelling bag, and removed a leaf wraped piece of bread that seemed to resemble a pastry.
"The Fortress is... Rather unsavoury to guests."

Malik was drumming his fingers on the table, adn watching.
"Alright, all six imps. front and center. one straight line, in front of me, right now. or I will find your mother and indeed bring her here. I have questions, I want them asnwered, but to get that done I need to see and know all six of you."
Okay lets see if military issue might get something akin to reasonable responses.
"I want each one of you, to tell me your name, and what you enjoy doing the most."

She took the rbead with a bit of a smile. She broke off a small piece, popped it in hre mouth, but stowed the rest away in her pack. "I'll save that for when I'm hungry agian." Too bad elfish bread did nothing to sate her hunger, didn't taste all that great either.
She sighed. "Help is not easy to find." She hefted her pack onto her shoulder, started off down the path. "The Peninsula it is, then.

Okay, Jell positivly bawled when he got hugged, and every other imp screamed because he too, wanted a hug form the lovely Star Flower.
But that was half forgotten when Malik gave an order, and well he didn't quite get a line, he got a ball. All imps rushed forward, fell together, and started slapping oen another.
Amist the sounds of flesh connecting with flesh, one could here three voices shouting, "I'm Jell! I like eating shoes!"
While another three voices shouted, "I'm Jaun! I like hitting my head!"

She looked back at Cedric, worry evident on her face. But she shook her head. "I wouldn't want to trouble you, kind sir. You've arleady given me food, pointed out the way for me. It woudl be presumptious to ask for more."

"He's not using my last name, I'm using his last name." Simple as that really and for a moment she turned her attetion back to impish chaos that Malik was tyring to control...and having difficulty in. "You know...this is almost amusing but not quite so." Stress.

It was worth a shot. if nothign else it might get them out of his hair for a bit.

She looked uncertain, but sighed. "I suppose...one does not look a gift horse in the mouth."
"Do you know of a place up north? It's a big stone building that claims to be a school of sorts? Someone very important to me is in there. And I need to get her back out."

She just shook her head. Chaos in the extreme. "Why are you using his? What's your real last name anyway?" She ran a hand through her hair and raisede an eyebrow at the imps. there were far too many of htem though the fact that she might be protected in exchange for something was an interesting concept. Apparentley tehy really did like her. "Lesser of the two evils I suppose, eh Malik?"

Malik smirked lightly.
"let me put it this way. there is a person, a very old, very powerful person, who is breeding a special army. he lives in caverns filled with strange machines and weird things to play with and bash your heads on and eat. and he's constant geting new soldiers, so he had to dress them which means he always has lots and lots of shoes, or clothes, or things."
A pause.
"and when he's ready, he goign to try and take over the world. and that means killing everyone else, including Star Flower and Piper. Now, woudl you guys like to do things that will stop or hinder him from getting ready?"

The elf paused for a moment, "You need to get someone out of a school up north? Did you come here hoping that the man who is suposed to be living in that Fortress would help you resque this person?"
