*Turning from Mr. Quasan's Inventions, he thought that Mr. Ilor might like to have a look at these wonderfully interesting toys. Looking about the deck, he ducked his head down the hatch and called out for him.*
"Mr. Ilor! Your Presence is Required On The Quarterdeck. You Might Want To Hurry And See These..."
*Removing his seemingly floating head from the hatch, he stood up to return to the Quarterdeck, but before doing so watched as the good Doctor & the mysterious Stowaway's dingy slipped silently into the rising fog that surrounded the shore.*

Watching from the shore as Baxter and the stowaway made their way to shore, Dr. Morgan surveyed what had been his work area only hours before. He spotted Dr. Wilson tidying up around the warehouse and waved him over.
"Thank ye ver' kindlae fer yer work 'ere, Wilson. I knae th' crown'll fin' ou' bou' yer part'pat'n soon, so's I'll be makin' ye an offer. I'll take ye tae wherever ye please. Th' one condit'n be tha' ye come aboar' th' Rescue an' 'elp me finish up."
The other doctor thinks for a while, then nods.
"There's nothing for me here anyways, thanks to that impressive band of buccaneers out there. Congratulate them for me, they did a fine job. It'a good thing I hid my valuables well, or I'd have nothing left. Just let me fetch those, and I'll be right aboard."
Wilson wanders off into the burned and toppled city. As he goes, Dr. Morgan gestures in the direction of the cove where the civilians are.
"Ivan, ye go 'n fetch the oth'r doct'r, Dr. Tamarack. Ye knae where 'e'll be. Dae nae be usin' force, it be 'is choice. Bu' remin' 'im o' me survice tae 'im when we were in th' Congo. Be back 'ere 'n no less'n two 'ours. I'll wai' fer our frein's in th' boa' 'ere afore I go tae fin' th'... item. 'en we'll sail aft'r th' Lady. 'Tis unsafe tae stay alone in these wat'rs, th' Crown'll be aft'r someone's 'ead soon 'nough."
The man salutes and walks away, swinging his massive arms from side to side as he walks. He avoids the alleyways, mostly because they've all been wrecked, but also because he's uncertain of his ability to fit through them.
Dr. Morgan hails the boat and waits for Baxter and the woman to come ashore.

Destiny, seeing Jaden get into a boat, popped around from behind a mast, and holled to her " Good Luck Jaden! If you want to stay, I'll be waiting in the Galley!" Muttering under her breath about officers in general, a show, and something else uninteligible, she made her way back down to the galley.

*She watched him come aboard the small boat and listened to him as he spoke. Not wanting to be disrespectful, she looked at him as he asked her what she would prefer to do.*
"Please... The name is Jaden..." She said still a little awkwardly.
*She ran through the whole ordeal through her head. The fact that she was sitting now with the very person she had stolen from was, indeed, a bit uncomfortable for her. She looked over the edge of the boat into the water as the Doctor rowed them ashore. Biting her lip a little, she still had a few things to decide. But being unfamiliar with the city they were about to come to, she accepted the fact she might need a little help. Swallowing her pride, she looked up at him and quietly spoke to the him:*
".... Yes... Doctor... I think I will need a bit of help getting around. " She looked back to the water before she continued to speak. "I don't know what all I would need to acquire... should I stay aboard the ship..."
*A few soft curls fell in front of her face as she looked over the edge of the skiff and stared at the light reflections in the bay's greying surface. A small glint of what little sunlight there was now with the incoming fog twinkled in the ring her father had given her. Maybe this was a sign she was to go with the ship. She wasn't too sure, but she was hoping that maybe there would be a reason that would present itself soon.
Before they arrived at the docks, she looked back to the Doctor and took a deep breath before talking once more:*
"I sincerely apologize for my sneaking int your private quarters, Doctor... as well as trying to lift what few items you had." She said before falling silent once more as he continued to row to the docks of Toulon.

"Jaden, eh? An interesting name." Reginald listened as she talked. The Jaden was obviously very uncomfortable.
"Well, I'll gladly see you safely about town so long as you don't mind being patient and letting me tend to a few things as well. As far as whether or not you should stay aboard the Lady, that is entirely your decision."
The boat ran aground on the sand. Baxter stood up and grabbed his bag, slinging it over his shoulder he continued, "About trying to relieve me of my items, don't worry about it, I care not for a lot of material possessions as you have no doubt discovered. Now then, let us tend to our business, I've only 12 hours."
Stepping out of the boat and onto the beach he saw Dr. Morgan, "Hello there good sir. How about this wonderful weather we're having on the eve of the battle. I do think we are in for a rather large storm at this rate."

"Ello 'ere Baxter, and th' lady. Ye bringin' 'er o'er tae string up 'r were th' cap'n in a forgivin' mood? Eith'r way, I jes' want'd tae check somethin' afore I made me merry way off intae this bustlin' city."
Dr. Morgan glances back at the ruined city, devoid of all life, as if to emphasize his sarcasm.
"How exac'ly are ye plannin' tae ge' yer men back fr'm th' Rescue once I be thru wit' em? I unnerstan' ye be leavin on th' mornin' tide, an' I didnae ge' an invite tae tag 'long be'ind. If'n ye 'ave a spare momen' once yer back aboar', please ask th' cap'n an' tel 'im tae le' me bosun knae. I kinnae suppor' tha' man' men fer long."
He looks up at the position of the sun, then gestures to the town.
"I be 'avin' a few erran's tae atten' tae, so I'll be off nae. An'thin' I kin be doin' fer ye while I be... shoppin'? I 'ave some rath'r special... items... tae ge', an' I'd rath'r no oth'r bea' me tae 'em."

"Her, it seems the Captain had seen enough death for one day. I'm to aid in her in filling a chest of new provisions for her."
Thinking on what Morgan said, Baxter replied, "You know what? I've really no clue what he plans to do. For all I know we might just be going out for a quick jaunt if you will before returning here. We might be leaving for good. I'll be sure to ask him for you. Now I'll let you tend to your business as I've my own to focus on as well."

*Upon Mr. Ilor coming on deck fast as he could, Captain Kurisutofa laughed as Ilor showed up huffing and puffing. Patting him on the back as he chucked...*
"What? No Shadows?"
*Stiffling his laughter, he gestured towards Quasan's inventions and handed Mr. Ilor the Magnification Goggles.*
"Try these and tell me what you think about their quality. I'm wondering if they would be suitable for long distance sights. Once we've ground the glass to Spyglass specifications that is; and with Mr. Quasan's permission of course."
*Ponders upon it*
"Can you imagine not having to hold on to the glass? You wouldn't have to worry about steadying the sights. I've always had a problem trying to keep my arm still. This would be a great way to keep hands free..."
*Breaking off mid-sentence, he looks to the skies and grimaces. Opening the cupboard door on the Wheel House, he peers at the barometer.*
14 cliques from 28. Pressure drop. We're in for a storm.

*Laughing along with the captain* "I guess I was in so much of a hurry it kinda slipped my mind..." *He slips the goggles on over his head and looks through.* "These are great captain! It would be perfect for long range sights, and like you said you wouldn't have to worry so much in keeping your arm still." *takes the goggles off his head and looks over at the captain* "Are we in for a weather change sir?"

*Aye, we are. Yet, I've been thinking about the Lady's current condition and I have decided that we are to remain in Toulon for the duration of repairs.
Whilst this storm gathers of shore, we are going to need the 'Rescue' to assist in running the Lady aground on the sandy shoal just East of the Docks. The landing sits right infront of the 'Naval' Docks. It'll be perfect to run the ship upon and heel her over on her side.
I'll be needing to see to business nearby, so I'll be leaving you in charge of the Ship until I return. I need this ship looking as new as if it has jus been built, or else we won't see the end of this storm, am I understood?
What I need you to do:
- Beach the ship, lower the fore'mainsle and let the wind gentley push her on her side. Then employ all of the Ship's Company to begin cleaning her hull. The last time we cleaned her was back when we were still off of Saint Lawerance in the Carribean. There must be an entire civilization living on the keel. I want it cleaned off, replace all rotten planks, recocked, tarred & painted it's original colours.
Speaking of colors, the Lady is still in Royal Navy colors. Let's change that shall we? I need the ship back in her original colours. - Yellow Railing - Black Quarter Rail - Yellow Rail - Red Quarter Sub-Rail - Yellow Railing - Royal Blue (Stern & Bow) - Wood Glaze - Black Broadside (Gunwale to Stern) - White Belly (From Black to Waterline - Red Hull
Also repair everything...
Now, I'll be off. Good Luck."
*With that, he grabbe dhis bags and booked it off the ship.*
((Have business out of town. Back soon!))

((I'm back, and I'm caught up. ^-^ Hope nothing important happened in my absence.
By the way, I'm sorry if I've stolen anyone's name or anything... ^^;;; It wasn't intentional.))
*Having successfully nicked some fresh clothing, a pair of boots, a bar of soap, and a shiny necklace she'd taken a fancy to (hoping that its owner was neither nearby nor wanted it any longer), Omi turned back toward the ship and returned as fast as she could. There's always a job to be done, and she wanted to earn her keep.*

*Nods to the Captian* "Understood sir." *Turns to the crew and begins to shout* "All available crew, we've all got work to do. There's a storm upon us, so we must repair the Lady completely BEFORE the storm hits. We can't mis a thing, the ship must be the same as if it were new. Before we begin what repairs we have to, we have to beach her. We're going to need the assistance from the 'Rescue' in doing so and we're going to run her aground east of the docks. So with that said, lets get started shall we!?"

"Good day, 'en, Baxt'r. Bes' o' luck tae ye 's well, miss. Th' cap'n be a goo' man, an' ye'd bes' make 'is mercy wor' somethin'."
Dr. Morgan begins to walk into the city, heading for the most ruined stretch of town. Once he is out of sight, he abruptly he turns into an alley and continues his way through back lots and alleys and over roofs, many burned out. Finally, he stands before the ruins of an ordinary-looking store. He hesitates for a moment bofore he enters the shop.
"This is madness... why am I even bothering?"
Finally making up his mind, he steps inside, checking to see that he is not being watched. The sign above the door reads; Joseph Randolph- Rare and Unusual Artifacts The inside of the main room is destroyed, with peices of furniture and bits of armor scattered all about, and much of the building has burned. Carefully navigating to room so as to avoid making much noise, Dr. Morgan works his way to the counter. The glass has been smashed in by a beam, and the shinier objects have already been stolen. Checking to see that nothing of interest is left, he goes to a blank spot on the wall, pulls out a pistol, and fires. The lock on the concealed door is blown open, as is his cover if there's anyone nearby.
Quickly slipping into the back room, the doctor looks around until he spots what he's come all this way for. He goes over to the wooden chest in the corner and opens it. His heart is pounding heavily. As he opens the chest, there is a glimmer of gold.
"Found you, my pretties. Who'd have thought a town like this could hold such treasures?"
In the chest are eight velvet bags, one of each color, and a golden jewel encrusted amulet on a fine silver chain. He pockets them and looks around the room, which appears to be empty save for the chest and a cabinet on the other side of the room. Dr. Morgan walks over to the cabinet and opens it, but finds nothing but a few coats. He searches the cabinet thuroughly and produces an oddly shaped pistol and a few small coins. These he also takes.
Feeling that he has overstayed his welcome, he heads for the door. To his suprise, he encounters not a soul on his way back toward the ships. The time is spent contemplating the nature of his aquisitions.
