"Eh, I guess lunch wouldn't hurt." He shrugged. For a moment, he wondered if he should bring Aya along, but with Marcus' previous actions, he figured it'd be best to leave her behind for now.

Asuka's eyes bulged wide. "Wait, what!? But I'm sure we killed anyone else left that had the power to bring back the dead." She brought a hand up to rub the back of her neck as she thought hard about her next words. "He didn't come back for any good purpose... did he?"

Marcus grinned sheepishly "Coolness, uh, there's this cafe down the street, it has some great food. Um, you wanna eat there? I'll buy"
Mizaki sighed with relief as the teacher intervened "Saved, thank god!" He went and got a bag of chips and a soda from the vending machines and sat down across from Okako and Annabeth "This school has some wackos in it. Stephanie's idiot dad made us play dodgeball for class! On the first day no less! The idiot never knew what hit him, I not only caught every ball he threw at me, I even managed to hit him with one! I can't wait to see the look on Stephanie's face when he takes me to the candy place after school!"

"It's just dodge ball. Wait until Basic Combat and start talking about crazy." She said resting her head on the table in front of her. "Oh wait. You didn't have them back to back."
"Good being the subjective term it is... To us specifically his purpose isn't and it involves both you and Okako." Her cool demeanor began to meltdown. "I cant lose either of you!"

"You wont lose anyone." She said firmly before giving Kouri a big hug. "I promise you, you wont lose anyone." After a few silent moments of just holding onto her love, Asuka pulled away from Kouri. "Let's call in some back up; if it's Kyosuke we're dealing with, we're going to need all the power we can get." Disappearing into their bedroom, Asuka rummaged through a few dresser drawers until she stumbled upon her inter-realm phone. Without hesitation, she called up everyone she knew would come in a heart beat, and like clock work, their living room began to fill with familiar faces.
"Before we get to business," Vain stepped forward as the portal behind the grou[ evaporated. "I need some coffee."

"Well, no, but I will starting tomorrow. I sumbitted an application to change to second period P.E. and Third period Combat, so I don't have to deal with Stephanie. Seriuosly, you saw her! She's nuts, she always wants to fight with me to see who is stronger. But I really don't care for fighting, I like Dance Dance Revolution" He grinned "I'm Mizaki by the way, Mizaki Tachibana."
The walk to the cafe was quick, and they talked a little about the happenings of six years ago the whole way there. As they sat down at a small table outside, Marcus was feeling a little more relaxed around Kai "I mean, it does seem far-fetched, but after today, maybe it isn't all superstition. Anna said I was growing fur or something. And my dad said he is half Tigroid, some weird weretiger thing. But anyway, when we were in London, we managed to sneak out of our dorm last semester, and we actually got to meet Madonna and Stefani Germanotta! It was totally awesome, they were so much nicer and cooler in person." He realized he hadn't let Kai get a word in edgewise, and he blushed slightly, toning it down "Um, so, you and your sister just transferred this year too, right? What did you do before that?"

"Nice to meet. Kagurazaki, Okako." She said, her head still resting on the table.
Shizue found Stephanie sitting in the tree pouting. "We need to to talk. Get down from there." She told Stephanie.
"Lets go get some then." Kouri replied. "We dont have any coffee right now."

"Don't bother with your lectures, I don't plan on listening. Just write me up and get it over with already. I won't stop fighting, I can't stop fighting....I owe to mom" She leaned back, not even opening her eyes

"Let us go out and get the coffee." Izumi pointed to himself and Bardok as he called out from behind Vain. "It's been what, two months since we were able to drop by last? I'm sure you guys have some family matters to catch up on." Not waiting for someone to argue, the fire and lightning Elementals left the house in pursuit of caffeine, leaving Elise and Vain with their daughters.
"It really has been that long, hasn't it?" Elise thought aloud. "You two seem to be doing well though.
Asuka nodded. "Yup. A few spats here and there, but never anything serious." She said blissfully while looking over to Kouri.
"And I trust that Grand Daughter of mine is still being a hand full?"

"She's, like, worn out from having Combat right after P.E. That Celestin woman is crazy, and Ms. Shioni is, like, a hardass, so the class is really tiring." She finished her sandwich and balled up her trash "I'm Annabeth, by the way. So, like, what was that kid's problem? She, like, threw a table at you and stuff"
Xiaedessa picked up the phone after finishing her lunch and called her cousin-in-law "Nall, it's Dess, I have really bad news"

"We bounced around from school to school." He spoke while downing some tea. "Pretty much just going where ever we felt needed, or where we thought we'd benefit from most." His eyes drifted over to the window, mind scattering to find something to talk about, without revealing too much about himself. "So, what do you do for fun around here?" 'Innocent enough of a subject.'

Meanwhile, Aya had been running about the school, trying to find Kai. 'Please don't tell me he already abandoned me for some skirt!' Her frantic chase led her Annabeth and Okako. 'Well, at least I can see he didn't run off with them.' Pausing to think for a moment, Aya decided to walk up to them. "Hey! have either of you seen Kai?"

Annabeth shook her head "You two must, like, be really close. I could care less what my dorky little brother does during his free period" She giggled jokingly "You know, Marcus never, like, showed up for lunch with me, maybe the two of them are, like, on a date or something" She smiled "You, like, want a sandwich or a wrap?"

"Oh, thank you, that actually sounds good right about now." 'I guess time apart wouldn't kill us. Plus, I am hungry.' Aya took a seat down next to Annabeth. "I do care about my brother; we've almost never been apart. Partly due to duty, and partly due to not allowing others to get close to us." She let out a small sigh. One of her goals for this experience was to allow herself to be a bit more open with others, unlike Kai.

"We have a few, but not many. It's hard for us to let ourselves get close to others, so even when we try to befriend others, we tend to push them away at the same time." She took a moment to let her words sink in. "So most of the time we just stick to ourselves, that way we don't get hurt, nor anyone else."
