I just got back from family thanksgiving (it was on Sunday) and I'm so grouchy.

My sister was going on about all the presents she is buying/has bought for my niece. She said she has soo many that they don't fit underneath her bed anymore and no more room in her "present cabinet" whatever.. like she needs all that anyways.. Then she rattled on like an idiot about the stupid lights on her house and the animated ugly skiiing polar bear in her front yard.

What really got to me was that she was going on about how they are "having a baby together" after they get married. Yeah.. that's not the subject matter I need/want to hear about at the moment.

To top it all off, I got roped into playing the most inane Bratz game ever with the kids. You have bratz doll heads and the point of the game is to get yoru makeup/jewelry and hair done and beat everyone to the "party". The stupid game even had makeup in it to put on the dolls. The little chance cards were all about "oh nooo bad hair day and you ran out of hairspray" and "looking hot for boys" and such.

To top it all off, mom wanted me to get the pics off her digital camera and when I did, I found some questionable pics of my little sister (she's 10). One of them she was holding up the V with her fingers and sticking her tongue out through it. (You know what I mean... sweatdrop ) and some she was "kissing" at the camera. Mom said "it's just a peace sign!" and I told her it wasn't but she told me "well, I can see what it *could* mean but we aren't getting into this today.. this happens every time you guys come over. Last time we found her PC history full of porn links alicia had visited.

eek That's just disturbing on so many levels I can't even figure out where to start. I think the fact that this doesn't bother anyone is what scares me most.

Yeah, there's nothing more annoying when you're TTC then hearing other people talk about having babies. Especially if they're going on and on about how FERTILE they are and they know you're trying and haven't succeeded yet. EESH.

Well, it's not like I have told anyone but's it's obnoxious since they aren't even married yet. Their wedding is in May.

Her fiance told my niece that she now has to do chores because if my sister got pregnant, he would not have time to clean the litterbox... I swear, she makes him do everything around that house..

As far as my other little sister goes.. my mom is like an ostrich. Stick her head in the sand and it doesn't happen. She also thinks that Alicia "gets it from somewhere" and doesn't come up with it on her own which somehow excuses her for it. I know that she knew that that sign meant because she got all defensive and went outside when I questioned her about it..

We are having a snow "storm" here in Washington. It's fun because the second a single snowflake sticks to the ground, everyone forgets how to drive and they canel all school. It makes for a great excuse to play in the snow all day and do nothing! xd

I-90 and North sound I-5 were a parking lot last night. People were pulling over to the shoulder and walking to hotels for the evening.

William didn't go into work today because the boss decided he didn't want the trucks out (generally if they schools are cancelled in the areas he keeps them in) But it sucks because here in Tacoma we got a teeny tiny dusting. So OMG SNOW and now we're screwed monitarily next pay day (oh like 300 dollars for two weeks of food) but we didn't even get enough to make a friggen decent snow ball. crying

eek

It's been near 70 here for days and I want some more "winter-like" weather!

I may get my wish because on Thursday, it starts out at 45 and plummets all day long, rainy and depending on how the temps fall and how much moisture we get, we may have snow!

XP We were in the low 80's today.

-curses Texas and its lack of a decent winter-

It's been in the 60s and 70s here lately but the temperature is supposed to drop on Friday. We're also supposed to have some kind of wet stuff for the next few days. Normally that would be fine, but I'm supposed to take my driving test on Friday so I want there to be decent weather. (Yes, I'm 26 and still don't have my license. xp )
