[ Kuja : Shipwreck Cove : Black Pearl ]
"My, I'm having a lot of visitors this evening," Kuja called out with an amused tone as he gracefully strolled down the stairs from the helm of the Pearl. Five spheres of Light hovered at his side, shimmering playfully in the moonlight.
"It seems the canary was merely a stray from a larger flock!" he exclaimed, chortling to himself as he reached the deck, looking at Lucian and NegAmy with a dangerous smirk; the Holy spheres seemed to flicker from their white gleams into shades of fiery red. "I really am getting tired of you doppelgangers, though. I'll simply have to write you out of the script, just like that dancer~!"
[Possible battle-ATE tie-in, if necessary.]

[ Narration ] It hadn't taken too long, but the Red Rose finally made its way to Shipwreck Cove. Carefully navigating into the hole above the cove, the Red Rose docked precariously on a higher tier of the Cove's multi-leveled towers and buildings, each constructed of wreckage from earlier ships. The landing ramp descended onto a large balcony overlooking the majority of the cove (if one was brave enough to look over the railing, they could see most of the docked ships in plain view-- a testament to how high they were); from this balcony, a number of other ramps, bridges, and stairways exited out to the rest of the cove. The Meeting of the Pirate Lords had, of course, long-since ended. Most of the hundreds of pirates were already asleep, naturally or having otherwise passed out from drunkenness. What rogues were awake immediately gazed up at the ship suspiciously, some running to tell their respective captains (or Lords) of the new arrival. The new Pirate King and his Lords were likely to be brought to the ship very soon.Outside of the Cove, any on-board the Dutchman would have seen the flying ship come in from the horizon and land inside the Cove. The eternal crew would likely have gone to tell their captain of the new arrival immediately-- assuming, of course, he wasn't already outside dealing with the new-born Replicas. The sky was hauntingly clear, made ever-more ominous by the distinct lack of starlight. The moon was high in the sky, very nearly in the center; it was not quite midnight, but it was getting close.

[ Kyle ; Seymour ; Kuja : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp) ]
As the ramp began to lower, one of the first people out (if not the first) was Kyle, who practically leapt from opening before the ramp was fully lowered. He glanced around at the area, noticing a stirring of pirates giving them odd looks (though some seemed to recognize them as the people who'd been here before) and getting a feel for the height.
Despite not seeming tired (which, considering their long day, was a feat in and of itself for most; he, however, was a night-owl by practice and heredity), he released a loud, almost over-dramatic yawn. Nearing the ledge, he thought about what came next.
He said Atlantica would be safe until morning. Still... what's his definition of 'safe'?
He leaned upon the wooden guard lightly at first, testing the strength of the make-shift railing; upon finding it sturdy enough to take his weight, he leaned completely, looking over the ledge at the various drop points and deciding which way to go first.
The Maester, though not one of the earliest to leave the ship, made his way down the ramp at his normal slow, poised gait; he took in the sight of Shipwreck Cove with a raised brow before turning his attention to a certain Genome. Kuja, it seemed, had noticed their arrival and was up to see them.
"So grand an entrance; I'm almost impressed," Kuja mused, his snarky tone somewhat soured by something on his mind. He sneered at Seymour, his obvious distaste of the Guado as obvious as ever. "But why are you here?"
"To offer my aid, of course," Seymour responded, his subtle smile unfaltering. "I have been helping this other group of Earthlings, and together we've come to lend this group a hand."
"Is that so? Well, just don't make yourself a nuisance; you're only a cameo on my stage," he sneered before turning to Kyle and anyone else who happened to have exited. "Speaking of nuisances, I believe our doppelganger friends are reproducing. Three of them have visited since your departure: the dancer, that new gauntlet-wielding fellow, and the gunner-girl who I remember briefly staying with us during our rendezvous at Beast's Castle."
Kyle turned to face Kuja as the mage spoke of 'doppelganger friends', looking tense but not all-together shocked; if anything, he seemed frustrated.
"Well, that explains what he was doing in Hawaii," he growled, looking slightly off to the side. "Were you able to take care of them?"
"No, they fled before I can deliver the coup de'grace," he responded, looking genuinely disappointed-- as if he'd lost a game rather than an opponent. "But if those three were created, I'd think it safe to assume each of you earthlings has a doppelganger now."

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony]
After they arrived back at the cove, Dawn followed out of the ship, shortly behind Kyle, though unlike him, she waited for the ramp to fully lower. As she came in closer she heard Kuja mentioned the arrival of three replica's while they were away, one of them being a dancer. Dawn froze for several moments, glancing from Kuja to Kyle. Then back at Kuja.
"Dancer?" she said in a small voice, "You don't mean...?" she paused for a moment as she knew the question was stupid, for she already knew the answer for it. There was only one Dancer among them, "What did they want?"

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Uppermost Balcony/Rose Ramp}
Bobbi came up behind Dawn, looking drawn and ragged and no little grumpy. She groaned, making no effort to hide it, and reached up to rest her elbow on Dawn's shoulder, despite the difference in their heights.
"More replicas?" she grumbled. "I'm not awake enough for this." She didn't bother to stifle the yawn that escaped her lips, though she at least covered her mouth with one hand. After the yawn had passed, she turned to Dawn and pressed her head into her friend's upper arm, so that her own arm draped over her skull as the Archer leaned groggily against the Dancer.
Demyx looked around at the gathering as he exited the Rose, and found himself an out-of-the-way corner to lounge in until the kids decided to do something. Instead of participating in the conversation at hand, he thought back to the chatting he and the girls had enjoyed in the bathing chambers. He analyzed every little action, wondering what exactly prompted him to act like he had, what memories corresponded to his behavior, and so on.
He was only thinking for a few minutes before he frowned and pinched the bridge of his nose with one hand.
"I gotta stop thinking," he moaned, "it hurts too much."

[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp)]
Noelle followed along with the group that was leaving the Red Rose, feeling no less rested but at least a little more content. She had thoroughly enjoyed her time in the bathroom with the others, just relaxing and talking. Afterward she went to help out one of the guys who was newer to the group, Matthew, in the training room. From there she went and got some food and before she knew it they had arrived back at Shipwreck Cove. As she walked down the loading ramp she hoped to herself that they wouldn't be doing much more that night. The conversation they were having at the base of the ramp threatened those hopes, however.
"Bitches and hoes," She grumbled exasperatedly under her breath, "More replicas? Someone get me something to punch . . ."

[Dani :: Red Rose :: Sleeping Quarters > Rose Ramp ]
"Ow my head..." Dani said as she finally came to after hitting her head against the bathtub. She was not in the same place that she could remember and felt herself in a comfy bed. Dani decided to try and sit up and found out that she could do it without as much difficulty as before.
"I was a real ***** to the girls" Dani said to herself as the memories from the women's bath came flooding back to her. "Well I guess I will have to make it up to them sooner or later."
As Dani sat on the side of her bed, her regular clothing materialized back onto her body instead of the pajamas she was just wearing. "I guess I will have to go searching for them." Dani said aloud as she opened the door to the sleeping quarters and started to walk around the ship.
After walking around for a little Dani finally saw that a large number of the group going onto the Red Rose ramp. "Here they are!" Dani shouted in her head before noticing that some of the people that were in the woman's bath earlier were also on the ramp as well.
"I guess I better hide my face for a little." Dani thought as she put up her hood to conceal her face, as well as her dignity. Hopefully, she would not have to deal with the girls she had upset so soon.

[[Louis : Shipwreck Cove : Red Rose ]] ((Sometime Mid-flight)) The arcanist emerged from a corridor of darkness and found himself in a dimly lit room. The room itself was a mess, several items strewn across the floor as though it had gone through a hurricane or earthquake. Louis wondered exactly what it was that had drawn him here. He was sure that he had sensed it before back on the mothership just before the Red Rose's arrival was announced. If his intuition did not betray him, he was on the airship now. Question was, what was it that would give off such a distinctive signature like this. At last Louis found his answer with the small glimmer of reflected light from the porthole on wall. Louis walked over to a corner of the room and knelt down to pick up a small, what seemed to be a glass rose. He examined it with some appreciation but slight confusion, what was it doing here? Louis sighed in light frustration as he pocketed the abnormal jewel and headed out the door. ------------------------------------------------ ((Current Time)) Louis strolled out of the ship with his hands at his sides and expression grim. It was obvious Louis wanted nothing to do with this place and the arcanist was not one to hide his distaste. Alcohol everywhere, sanitation at an all time low, bathing unheard of, and worst of all, pirates everywhere, worthless pirates. When Kuja, the polar opposite of their surroundings spoke, Louis sneered at the comment of new replicas, "There are more of them? Damn it... we can't even manage to take down one and there are more now?"

[Noelle .:. Jack ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp)]
Noelle looked back over her shoulder at Louis as he came down the ramp behind her, a mixed expression of irritation and disbelief on her face. "I know, right?"
That's when she noticed Dani among them, hood up and lingering off to the side. The agromancer placed her hands on her hips and rolled her eyes slightly before looking away with a bitter--and admittedly childish--mental note (Yeah , you go on and hide). Seeing the girl made her irritation flare a little more. If Noelle had been a little less tired and if there had been a little less bad news flying around then she probably would have gotten over it already, but with the truth being that she hadn't gotten a decent amount of sleep in lord knew how long the small blonde was going to be grumpy about it for a little while.
"Sooooo, let's tack a few more names onto the bottom of our list of things to kill, shall we?"
"What's this I hear about killing things?" Jack Sparrow asked, stepping out onto the balcony seeming pleased with himself, "I wholeheartedly approve no matter who or what you're killing, so long as you bring me their shoes."

[Jenny :: Shipwreck Cove :: Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp)]
Jenny trailed in after the other, only catching the last bit of what Kuja had to say but that last bit was more than enough. More replicas. Wonderful news to land to. The more Earthlings they found; the more replicas there were. She could only hope that they weren't all deciding to band together. It was hard enough fighting the few that were already around.
"We'll have to be on our guard, you don't know these new people too well yet, if they have a replica... they could easily infiltrate and you wouldn't know."
Jenny frowned, she could hear heartsongs but fat good it did when it came to Rae. Maybe there was a way she could better tune it. She sighed, maybe Siren could teach her a thing or two later when it came to pinpointing songs. For now, she nodded in agreement with Noelle. "Let's hope they're not all going to come flying at us at the same time."

[ Amy : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp) ]
"Mom would never have survived this." Amy cautiously leaned over the railing, not far from Kyle, and looked down at the ships in the cove. "She hates heights."
The gunner-girl the tall woman mentioned could only be Amy's replica. It stood to reason; no other female in their group had guns. There were new faces all around her, or close enough to new. Amy, who had just woken up, knew them as the other group of earthlings. The tall woman speaking to Seymour was unfamiliar to her.

[ Ajora : Paris : The Ball ]The Black Prophet had arrived in Paris and scouted out the festivities ahead of time. Incidentally, he'd also taken the opportunity to become acquainted with the area. The Darkness was thick here... practically tangible. The most deliciously ironic reason, of course, was the Catholic Church's complete oppression of all but the upper class.
Oh, Frollo, you old coot.
What was even more interesting was one of the other sources of Darkness-- someone long since thought dead. Someone a long, long distance away from her homeland. This, Ajora presumed, was the reason for Elleon's presence in the city of Paris. But why, exactly...?
Lodging that thought away for later, the Executioner looked out of the shadowy alley he was hidden in toward the location of the ball-- an large manse, owned by some fancy aristocrat who likely paid off the church so such festivities would be allowed. There were some guards stationed outside the large French doors-- the people he'd have to give the invitation, he presumed.
The shadows around him slithered and enveloped him for the briefest of moments before the strolled out of the alleyway. Hiding the upper half of his face was a feathered mask of with a mixture of white and gray hues, akin to marble. His waistcoat was a dark silver, mixed in with various white and gray tones, with a white undershirt and cravat; over his waistcoat was a white tailcoat, and he was wearing white pants to match.
Overall, he looked more virtuous than vicious.
Ah, how I do love a masquerade.
Approaching the guards, he offered out his invitation; when they had taken it from him to check, the nodded and let him pass through the doors into the grand ball that awaited him.
Elleon, just what do you have in store...?

[Elleon ~ Paris ~ Beauvais Manor Ballroom]
"Announcing his Lord, Sir Ajora." A herald announced loudly, though not unpleasantly, as the Replica passed into the ballroom. Several occupants turned and took note of the newest guest, those closest to the door bowing or curtsying in respect to the man announced as a Lord.
The ballroom was busy with Paris' esteems aristocrats and members of the wealthy class. Most were at the center of the room, waltzing to the music of the slightly less-than-small orchestra stationed to the far right. Others were either seated and dining at some of the tables on the outskirts of the room, or observing the entertainers (one of them clearly being Artemis, performing contortion tricks) on pedestals near the back, casually caught in conversation. To the far left there was a rise where a long table and several chairs were placed, with two large throne-like seats at the center. On this table a banquet was set out and all of the chairs faced toward the open ballroom. One of the large thrones was empty, but the other was occupied by the ball's hostess. She wore a long white dress and a feathered mask that was the female counterpart to Ajora's.
Elleon took notice of Ajora's entrance, looking over at him and nodding as if to summon him. They had a great deal of business to talk about.

[Joe: Shipwreck Cove: Uppermost Balcony(Rose Ramp)]
Joe stepped off the airship, fully dressed, and stretched. He had had a nice nap, after all, and...well, a fight was coming up. And of course more replicas coming into play was wonderful to find out, even though it made him grind his teeth and square off his shoulders.
And then Noelle spoke a beautiful line that was music to Joe's ears. He hugged her, smiling. "I knew you were my favorite." Finally, someone that (at least outwardly) understood that to get rid of a problem like that in this world, you needed it gone for good.

[Kyla: Shipwreck Cove: Rose Ramp>Uppermost Balcony]
“If it’s shoes you need Jack- you could have just said so, I can fix something up for you I think.” Said a voice from behind them. Kyla appeared on the ramp, having come from fixing herself up after that experimenting with Joe, Anthony and Bobbi. With her new power Inked Coalescence under her belt- she felt, well… better somehow. She finally had something to give her replica a run for her money, something to make her think twice about her sense of superiority. Most importantly, it made the artist feel like she could be even more useful to the team then she ever had before.
When the information was imparted to her about the increase in the replica’s numbers, her happy feeling became short lived, and the creeping sense of worry breathed cool on her nape. With a heavy sigh she shook her head; “I suppose if something works- it would only be prudent to stick with it… and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve added something else to the original mix. Ajora seems like the creative type, someone who will not leave well enough alone if there was a chance for improvement.” No doubt he’s gotten stronger. That was a give in. It should be expected of all of them actually.
As she descended the ramp to the balcony, Kyla looked up at the beautiful moon that hung in the sky like a glowing marble disk, it illuminated the outlines of all the ships below, glinted off every reflective surface and bathed their path making it lit enough to navigate without tripping. The sea breeze played in her hair and the sound of the surf below was so soothing, it made the girl stifle a yawn of her own. No doubt it was a lovely night- and sure to be a long one, she still hadn't slept yet- after parting ways when they were done in the bathroom, Kyla had taken the time in between to look over her designs and prep pages for battle while she still could.
