"You cannot force someone to change their perspective," said Angeles handing the meat to Lilly, "and there is only so much I can teach you. We are different creatures you and I, all I can teach you is how to be relatively human, relatively your age," she looked up as she saw the light at the end of the tunnel. The symbolism wasn't lost on her as she paused and licked a bit of blood from her hand. Meaningless memories filled her mind before she dropped her hand with a sigh.
"There's no avoiding it I guess. I best keep my head down for the rest of however long I will be here."

"EnGaGe It!"
The tank started to change shape. A pair of supports dropped themselves from the sides, firmly rooting the machine to the spot. The turret cannons split open, making themselves wider and more deadlier. Victor bailed out of the tank as it shifted, not wanting to get crushed by the changing war machine. Vincent was fine, he was in the main seat. The android remained near the suppressor pods and engines, keeping them running at maximum effeciency. He let off a shot right into the Queen's mouth, a huge explosion being the result from inside said mouth. The entire cavern shook a little from the resulting blast.
She screeched in rage, and that was the cue to engage her and her courtier. With The Beast in siege mode, it could not move, so it had to be protected as it fired off its massive payload.

When the tank started to shift. D grabbed Chiru, and the Scythe and Luna before slipping out of the shifting thing. "Could have warned us." D said gently before he withdrew the Scythe. He wondered if it had anymore tricks up its sleeves.
Alucard cackled and jumped to the top of the shifting tank. From there he aimed Trueshot and started firing away at the queen.
"True. But at least you can teach me that." Lilly said with a smile to her as they made theyre way inside the place. They returned to where the others were and Lilly chose a spot Angeles could claim as her own and not be bothered by the others unless they sought her out.

Angeles sat down in the spot Lilly picked out for her, keeping her head down, her face hidden by her hat. She closed her eyes and leaned back against the wall there, exhaling slowly and not taking another intake of breath. She played a piano tune in her mind before glancing up and holding out her hand. A black moth fluttered down into her palm.
"There you are Indara, where have you been?" the moth, of course did not respond, merely fanned it's wings. Angeles lifted her palm to the grim of her hat and Indara crawled up onto it and spread her wings, freezing and appearing as some sort of decoration against the leather material.
For a moment she wondered where her other pets were, but did not dwell on it.

Luna squirmed and wiggled from D's grip. Her itch to fight was growing to be too much for her to handle. She didn't like sitting around and waiting because of her tiny feline form. It had been like that for fifty years! She wanted to fight, she wanted to bathe in the blood of her enemy once again, and since going up against this Queen meant these guys needed what little help they could get, she was going to take it.
After leaping from D's grasp, she landed on the boy's head before launching herself off again. The black feline sailed through the air and landed on the tank. Luckily, she had gotten one of her attacks, back, and while that was lightning and would probably be counter acted, she was hoping she could atleast distract the beast so the more powerful guys could finish her off.
Electricity swarmed her small body before she let the powerful one hundred thousand volts shoot from her body and towards the queen. Her cerulean eyes wide as she shouted, "Just you wait until I get my body back! Then the next time we're on a mission I can show you some real power!!"
Chiru blinked and looked at D, "What do we do now? Don't you have a gun or something that I can use to help?"

Raziel turned and looked at Ivy, "Of course. The time has long since past for lies. We made a promise to be truthful to one another, so I will answer your questions the best I can my love."
The beautiful male leaned down and stole a kiss from Ivy. He was happy to see her safe and sound.

As Angeles and Lily waltzed back in, Charlie headed from his seat and headed over to them. "Oh! You two are back. I hope we didn't scare you off. Did you see any of the others while you were out there?"
Charlie was excited, hoping that the others were back so he could give Alucard the news about his blood and give Luna the antidote to her problem.

Ivy kissed Raziel back as she held Charles.
"Alright then, lets go someplace that's quiet so no one will hear us talking. This is a family matter and that's how I want it to stay."

"Alright then." Raziel placed his hand gently on Ivy's back as he began leading her away from the others and down one of the halls. He took her into a quiet and dark corner where no one could hear them speaking.
"Alright Ivy, I don't think anyone will find us down here. What did you want to ask?"

Ivy smiled a little and conjured a crib for Charles to lay in. SHe covered him in a blanket and told him to go to sleep and he did.
"Alright Raziel, with all the experimentation you did on me all those years ago. What are the affects going to be on Charles? What powers is he going to have? What will he turn out to be when he gets older?"

Raziel contemplated on this for a little bit. "It is hard to say. There were some abilities that I had hoped would manifest in you that never did. I'm sure that he will have your skill to conjur up fire, but other than that it is really up in the air. No doubt he'll aquire some powers from his dear ol dad. But let me see here... There was some golem blood in the hopes that your skin would be as hard as rock. Then there was were-cat blood, hoping to give you all the heightened senses they have. Granted my love, your senses are good, but not as perfected as theirs. Then there was the shadow creatures. You'd have the ability to sink into the shadows and use it to transport to places. Hmn..there were so many..."

Ivy looked at Raziel.
"Is there anyways we can make sure of all the powers I do and do not have while we are here? THen we can find out what Charles will have. I want to know what I'm in for so I can help him control his powers."

"Even if I were to head back to the castle and grab my notes, there are some that have been destroyed. Besides, he couldn't stray too much from what his parents have, could he?" Raziel looked to Ivy. He wondered about that. What if Charles did have different powers than his parents.

"That's why I want to make sure. If he even tries to stray, I may have to do something drastic that we both might regret."
Ivy walked closer to Raziel and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Go back to the castle, get all the notes you can find and any other supplies you need then come back here. We'll ask the priest for help, but he gets none of my blood samples for his cause."

"You want to rely on that priest?" Raziel looked to Ivy as she laid her head on his shoulder. She knew he wouldn't be able to say no.
He took a deep sigh and nodded. "Alright then. I'll be back in a flash." With that he teleported away and began ransacking his castle in the search for all his notes.

Ivy watched Raziel leave and she turned to Charles and looked at him, watching him sleep.
"I hope I don't have to hurt you in the future Charles. Please be a good son for us." Ivy thought as she leaned against the wall and then slid down.
"Raziel, I'm not replying on the priest, I'm relying more on you. You'll just need an extra pair of hands while you do all the tests. I can't help you if I'm part of the testing." Ivy thought to Raziel while he was at the castle.

"Let me see here...Nope, those are Sybil's files...Are these?..No those belong to November...How about...No that's Josh's files...Darn it..where did I put those..." He talked aloud to himself as he continued searching for Ivy's files.
Suddenly it seemed to hit him and he headed up to his room. He moved over to the bookshelf and pulled down a leatherbound book that had all his notes on Ivy.
With a smile he began looking for the other notes he had placed around the castle. 'I'm sure that's all well and good, but you must remember that he is still a mortal.'
