She laughed when he had said that. "Amazeing here try it." She spoke as she brought cake close to his lips. Katherine was still very different even more warm hearted and less worried about aperances. She didn't just hand it to him because it was sticky and a piece of fabric was keeping her hands from getting sticky.

Matachi swiped his finger across her cake bringing the bit to his mouth tasting it "Not bad." He said smirking at Katherine as he moved his finger in for another swipe

Paradox chuckled. He didn't notice the change. It wasn't something he would ever worry about. "No thanks. Sugar goes straight to my hips. Matachi oves it though." He replied with a quick dismissal of his hand. He watched the two of them with real interest, but as always, there was something behind it, like a regret of things to come. "So where is Zypher? I haven't seen him in a while." Paradox asked. He hadn't seen the assasin since he left for the Wolf.

"O.." Katherine spoke looking back to Paradox. "that is actually a very long story." She said as she walked with both of them. "Zypher is not Zypher, not anymore anyway. He is .. Someone from the past.. a scary man actually." She said as she went on. "Very powerful as well. Zypher i am sure is still there however."

Matachi just stood there pulling the hood up onto his head "I say we just kill him and get it over with." Said Matachi speaking as he usually did when it came to a problem.

Paradox frowned, and shook his head to that. "I suppose the secrets of the past come out in the present. Is this scary man. . . Hostile?" He asked with sorrow in his eyes. he paused as Matachi spoke. "I suppose we will have to, in the end. Part of him has to die either way." He had seen people like Zotachi go bad, even his best freind. Zypher had been a good man.

Katherine smiled looking to Matachi. "You wouldn't unless it was in the heat of battle even given the choice." She said with a knowing smile. She looked back to Paradox. "its never as simiple as just killing either way we all know that." ((edited)) She looked over to Paradox. "To me and Matachi yes. Not that many others, I don't know if he would attack you unless it was a part of some plan." She laughed then. "I can't see anyone attacking you outright though Paradox."

Paradox stared ahead. "Then, we will have to prepare, like always." He said sadly with a sigh. They trade one villian for another. How many of their freinds would become enemies. "It doesn't matter if they attack me. Your safety is the important thing, Katherine." He told her with a powerful conviction behind his voice. The general would protect Katherine to the very ends of the earth, if he could.

Katherine looked to him with a admireing smile. "Paradox.." She had finshed the ckae and placed the cloth in a small bin as they walked by it. "I have no clue sometimes why or how you hold me in such high regard... After all the world itself would be much safer if i was gone."

Paradox chuckled. "A drowning man grabs onto anything that floats and holds on for dear life. The world could do with a many less people, but I'm not giving up, and as long as I'm here, your going to be safe. Think of it as a repayment for the long debt of sins that I made before and after we met." Paradox spoke quoting things he had read in a book time and time again. They were cliches, in a way, but they got the job done. He continued to lug around that gigantic bag of armor behind him.

She laughed as well looking around noticeing Matachi had drifted off. Her guess was she didn't come here that often. "Paradox something odd has happend to me. I am sure you are relizeing i am acting much different. You see i.. I am getting things confused. Things from the past and now.. it started with this whole Zypher thing i think. So forgive me if i seem.. confused." She spoke with a smile she could have said mad but he would notice it later as they walked alittle farther. "I near dreamed those years ago Llyr would regrow this wonderfully."

Paradox studied her carefully. "You say your different, but nothing has changed. Your just remembering things that you had before. It happens to some people, every once in a while. It's happened to me a million times over, so I know what your feeling." Paradox told her seriously. He looked around at the city around him. "It has grown through the years. I haven't been in this country long, but even I have seen change." Paradox added in.
