"Stop asking questions and just do something you fool." Shadow yelled before he recodnised the man standing there but couldn't find a name. It didn't matter though. Shadow was more worried now than ever. "Her father is comming here?" he said in a great deal of shock as he tried to work out who the others would be.
Neferata grabbed the part of her arm that had been bitten and cursed. Forgetting that she had basicaly seald Valaryia in the crypt and had forgotten to tell her how to lower the wards.

Valaryia sat in the crypt, immune to all commotion. She fiddled with the keys of the piano. She could hear nothing. She had wondered where Neferata had gone too. Not far, she hoped. She was afraid for her... her sire...

Abel stood there stunned. Still in shock and trying to process what had happened. The girl sat on the floor laughing hysterically. "Valitrix, is coming. He's bringing Daddy, Daddy gunna hurt, Daddy gunna kill, Yummy, he thinks your yummy. Blood no, Flesh, yes, he wants your flesh." rang in his head. He shook it vehemently getting out that thought. He sauntered over to her. He outstretched his hand, a scarred palm facing her. He sent a wave of calm to her and then tried to manipulate this vision she was having; by sending images of happiness love and all of those cheezy, gooey things like that. He hoped it would work. He waited for her reaction.

Abel suddenly recognized the man standing beside him but couldn't place a name. "what do you mean her father's coming. Is that bad?" he asked. Abel had never met this woman so her father must have been a bad thing.

Cassidy screamed louder, "Love! Daddy said he loved me! Daddy said that's why he wanted to play! I wouldn't play with Daddy, Daddy made me play. Daddy said I was bad, said I didn't love because I didn't play. Daddy's coming because I was a bad girl, he wants to play, so does Trixy. They want to play with me. They say love means play time. I don't like play time." Cassidy opened her eyes, still blind and said in a venomous tone, "You want to play don't you? Trixy wants to play with you, because you're yummy."
The images weren't working, she didn't know what love was, she didn't have a concept of it, of the word. She associated love with pain. The only happiness she knew was that of being with Shadow. She felt love towards Shadow, but had no idea what it was due to her past...
His hands hurt the images hurt, as she said, "I don't want to play, If I play nice will you play nice back? I'll play nice! I don't want to play with Daddy and Trixy! Not anymore..not again!" she cried out.

The images weren't working they were causing her so much more pain that he intended. "I don't want to play, If I play nice will you play nice back? I'll play nice! I don't want to play with Daddy and Trixy! Not anymore..not again!" she cried out.
she growled. "yes, yes I will play nice, If you promise in return to play nice and snap out of this" he answered squatting down to her level on the floor.

Shadow was just a little confused by the words comming from Cassidy. He started to get idea's about what her father had done but he cast them out of his mind quickly. "Cassidy you don't have to play with Daddy, we will protect you." he said still feeling rather helpless.
Neferata ran out of the mansion and to the crypt, remembering that she locked Valaryia in there. She lowered all the wards and forced the doors open. As she entered the main chamber she fell to the floor, tripping over her own feet.

Valaryia jumped as Neferata fell in. "Darling," she said, panicked. "Where were you?" She rushed to her love, helping her up. "Is he here?" she whispered, feeling terror in the pit of her stomach.

"You'll play nice? I don't want to play at all! Playing hurts, even if I'm good! No I don't want to play!" she screamed as she heard him say he would play. "I don't want to PLAY!"
Finnally she stopped screaming and just sat there huddled in the fetal position as she shivered and cried softly. "Daddy and Trixy. Trixy wants yummy, Daddy want's to play..."

Alice jumped slightly as she heard someone screaming in the mansion. "What's going on?....." she asked herself softly as she slowly stood up. She slowly walked back into the house, toward the place where she thought the screaming was coming from.

"I don't want to PLAY!" this girl wailed in response. She sat there huddled in a fetal position. " We wont play then. But can you be nice and snap out of this for me?" he cooed trying to comfort her and sending out a few waves of comfort and calmness. "Who is Trixy?" he added hoping to get some answerers from this girl.

"I heard screams comming from the mansion. Cassidy is in some state right now. I can't help her." Neferata said as Valaryia helped her up. "He isn't here... yet. Although I think he sent a scout. I could feel something out of place in the mansion that wasn't Cassidy." she said as she wrapped her arms around Valaryia. She didn't like to feel helpless like this, it brought back memories of Drakenhof and its burning buildings, of the day the demonic hoards burned her home to the ground.
"If its a ghoul then could..." Shadow stopped his chain of thought there. He didn't want to consider that Marquis was helping out Cassidy's father in anyway at all.
Shadow stood there. He had run out of things to say and had no idea what to do. A tear ran down his cheek, mixing with the blood that was alreading flowing from his face.
