Mission: Night Raid on Devon
Berg strapped on the last of his stealth outfit; just because he is in Team Aqua doesn’t mean he always has to wear blue. His identity was concealed and even though his Pokémon were still weak and undertrained, the mission should still be easy.
The lock pick set that he just bought should come in handy; Berg checked the perimeter one last time before sneaking over to the back door. For only 15o PDs, the lock pick set was nearly a steal. Berg chuckled to himself at the irony of his latest thought. It took a moment, but the door unlocked and opened with little effort. Berg knew that it was unwise to believe the mission would continue to go on with this amount of effort so he entered with caution and made his way through the rooms toward the stairs.
It was too good to be true, no guards in this area although he could hear one of in the distance, making a loud and obnoxious clicking with his shoes against the tile floors. Based on the mission briefing, there were ten guards; it would make sense that most of them were guarding the shipment that he was supposed to “retrieve.”
Berg continued up the stairs to the second floor. “Too easy still…” Berg thought to himself. Despite his worried thoughts, Berg continued quietly up the stairs. Not knowing where to proceed, he pulled his TADS from his side.
“Activate on stealth mode,” he spoke into the device. A very dim pair of screens were shown, the top showing the target on the floor above him and the bottom of his current position and the schematics of the building. He was to continue down the long hallway in front of him to reach the next set of stairs. There were bound to be more guards on this level as he was nearing the parcel.
Berg quickly shut his TADS as he heard two voices coming down the hallway; two guards were walking towards him. Basic instinct told him to hide, but he knew that he would not be able to get to the end of the hallway before they turned back around. He had to take them out.
Berg walked calmly into their field of view, revealing two Pokeballs from which he released Totodile and Croagunk. A red glaze held the two Pokémon until they reached the tile floor with grace. The guards reacted with a stammering, “H-h-halt!” as they each released a Pokémon of their own. Two Zigzagoon appeared before Berg and his partners. Berg chuckled as he thought of how easy this battle should be.
Without a word, but a mere hand command, Totodile and Croagunk charged. Totodile flailed his claws into the face of one of the Zigzagoon as Croagunk slapped the other in the face with a mixture of mud created all his own. The Zigzagoon staggered backwards and regained composure. The guards had little understanding of true battle; all they knew was calling out attacks and hoping they worked, no strategy.
“Tackle,” called out the both of them.
Berg only had to say, “Switch up the playing field,” and another plan was in action. Totodile and Croagunk jumped into the air over the two charging Pokémon. They landed on the opposite side of the battle area and Berg betted on the idiocy of the two guards to wrap this up quickly. Totodile and Croagunk backed up slowly in the direction of the guards. They began to get frightened and quickly called out another Tackle attack. The Zigzagoon charged once more and were dodged once more, well at least by Berg’s Pokémon. The guards were not so lucky.
With two guards slumped over each other, Berg continued down the hallway, getting slightly closer to pot at the end of the rainbow. Berg could hear running footsteps nearing him; it sounded like a single guard from a room up ahead. The commotion must’ve alerted him and he decided to see what was going on. Berg decided any other guards will most likely have the same poor training, so he might as well defeat the rest of them.
A big burly guard emerges from a room only a few feet in front of him with his Pokeball and nightstick ready. He laughed when he looked upon the small boy covered from head to toe in black. Berg returned the laugh as he withdrew Croagunk.
“One is all I’ll need for you.”
The guard, angered by this comment, called out his Zigzagoon and commanded an attack. The attack hit Totodile, but it wasn’t enough to much more than make him slide back. Berg noticed that this Pokémon had more skill than the other two; perhaps his assumption was wrong, but he still doubted that any of them could match his skill. Berg knew of 4 guards, 2 of which were unconscious, another completely unaware of his presence, and this one. He knew 6 were left and they probably all guarding the last floor. He needed a plan.
“What’s wrong? Too scared to attack?” asked the guard as he sent Zigzagoon in for another attack. Totodile looked toward Berg to see nothing but a nod. Totodile nodded in return and side-stepped. He used the charging Zigzagoon’s momentum to spin it and throw it in the direction of the guard. The burly guard could not handle his furry friend pound into his face and collapsed to the ground with a loud clatter. Berg knew he didn’t have much time before more guards would come to examine the commotion. Berg quickly went to the guard and took his walkie talkie and the keys from his belt. He dove into a nearby room and waited for a few moments. Calls came in on the walkie talkie, which he turned the volume to low as so he would not be caught over this, and he listened as two more guards came down and went through the hallway. He peaked his head out to make sure no one was around. The coast was clear and he guessed that there were 4 guards on the last floor and he needed to hurry before the other guards decide to come back.
Berg rushed out the room with little stealth and headed up the stairs. There was a locked door blocking him from his goal. He reached for the keys that he stole from the guard and tried a few before finding the one that opened the door. As he opened the door, he saw that another guard was waiting for him. He quickly grabbed the guard by his uniform and pulled him down the stairs. Berg hurried through the door and jammed a key into the door and broke it off in the keyhole. That should keep the other guards at bay for a while.
Berg turned around to another guard running in his direction; behind that guard was a big door. It looked like it needed a key card to get through. That guy must have the needed key card to get to the final room.
“Stop!” called out the guard. He ran up and threw out his Pokeball; Zigzagoon was once again revealed.
“What is it with you guys?” asked Berg. The guard looked confused. “So, how about this, I beat you, you gimme the key and we continue along our merry way?” The guard sighed heavily and nodded in fear. Totodile stepped up to battle once more. “Attack,” called out Berg.
The guard actually seemed ready for the first attack; he quickly called out for his Pokémon to jump and counter attack. Zigzagoon slammed down into Totodile’s head and rebounded for another Tackle to the back. Berg thought how effective that was and thought of a counter to that counter.
“Charge,” Berg called out. He could see the confidence in the eyes of the quivering guard. The Zigzagoon jumped into the air once more. Berg smirked as he called out to Totodile, “Keep running forward.” Totodile listened as he continued through the attack. Zigzagoon slammed face first into the tile and Totodile returned for a counter; Totodile’s claws tore at the Zigzagoon. Zigzagoon struggled to get up, but Tododile wasted no time. A swift and decisive attack of the claws left Zigzagoon fainted.
The guard, shocked, collapsed to his knees. Without saying a word, he slid the key card to Berg’s feet. Berg continued toward the door and slid the card. A green light blinked showing approval. As Berg stepped through the door, he turned to notice the guard had gotten to his feet and was now walking to the jammed door. Now Berg was in the last room and could see the box that was his mission to steal and get out with, but he also saw the two guards that were guarding it, holding position and eyes fixed on Berg and Totodile. Berg sent out Croagunk and nodded toward the guards for a double battle. The guards turned to each other before releasing another pair of Zigzagoon. These Zigzagoon looked strange; one was much larger than any of the other that he had seen before and the other was a completely different color than a regular Zigzagoon; it had black fur with light gray markings. Berg knew that these two must be well trained and decently strong, so he’d have to take caution in his movements.
Berg pondered slightly before having both his Pokémon charge at the larger Zigzagoon. By taking the enforcer out, it should be easy enough to take down the off-color one. One after another, the attacks landed against the large Pokémon. It barely flinched before shaking off the attacks and being ordered to charge at Croagunk. Berg was glad because Totodile, although not showing it, was tired from the battles earlier fought and couldn’t take many more attacks. Berg had no choice but to attempt to throw off the large Zigzagoon. He called out an Astonish attack in which Croagunk stared down the Zigzagoon and hit it with a sharp mind pulse; the Zigzagoon flinched and tripped as it charged but due to the great momentum at which it was traveling before the attack took effect, it began to roll and still managed to slam into Croagunk. He flew back and bounced off the wall, leaving a hole in the plastered wall. Croagunk stood tall after such a powerful blow, and Berg sighed slightly as he wondered how much more powerful the attack would have been if it was full on.
Totodile charged forward at the stunned Zigzagoon and slammed into him. His claws flew back and forth as they met the fur and flesh of the injured Pokémon. The guard of the larger began to grow angry screaming, “Help me you dunce! Why do you think the boss gave us such awesome Pokémon? He thinks that we are the best and that we’ll protect the package from harm! Let’s go! Pull your head out of your a**!”
The other guard drew forth his confidence and composure as he ordered his Zagzagoon to charge in at Totodile. Berg was pleased as he could use this blow to take down the larger one. He yelled out, “Totodile, hold on to Zigzagoon and use him to take the force of the blow. Brace yourself and be strong!”
It worked; the off-color Zigzagoon sent the two flying in the direction of Croagunk. The three Pokémon slammed into the hole just created by an injured Croagunk. The hole widened and exploded as the group went into the next room. Berg knew his Totodile has fainted and hoped that Croagunk was in good enough shape to finish this battle.
It was as he expected, both Totodile and the large Zigzagoon were fainted and this should be the end of the battle. As Croagunk crawled through the hole in pain, the guard withdrew his Pokémon with an intense rage. He swung at the other guard for assisting in taking out his Pokémon. A hard right jab to the jaw cleanly knocked the other guard into the window behind him. The Pokeball in his hand dropped to the floor as he flew through shards of glass and framing. The other guard realized what he had just done and ran to the window to look to see if the other guard was ok. Luckily he had landed in a group of bushes; he’d be in pain but okay in the end. Before the guard could turn back to look at the intruder, Berg had already withdrawn Croagunk and grabbed onto the package. He jumped through the adjacent window as he turned do a cool show-off pose for the guard.
He thought to himself, “That looked so badass!” as he landed with a roll and the parcel safely held in his arms. He ran off into the night to return to base.

"Well just by looking at the overview we have a few problems. First thing is you can't get items unless it's specified in the mission. Secondly, you can only get different coloured Pokemon if the mission states it's shiny, or if you catch it with a Colour ball. If you correct these things I should be able to pass it."

Sammy waved with her good hand to Mr. Bangira. "Need help cleaning?" she asked. She then gave an evil stare to Memo. "You... Don't... Know?" she murmured, her mouth foaming like a rabid dog. She then returned to her normal self. "That's okay, as long as you know who Mizushima Hiro is~" she chimed, knowing that he probably wouldn't.
