Serene watched Akuji silently, but then drifted off to sleep herself, her dreams invaded with nitmarish images intermingles with bad past experiences. She winced as she slept and could feel a couple tears falll down her face as she slept restlessly, and her heart was pounding a million beats a minute.

Akuji slept soundly at first, dreaming of nothing. Then his mind began to wander as he slept. What if I fail? Will Kade and Sedric die? Will all my friends die?...will they all...hate me? He rolled over. I won't fail. I'll beat him and save Sedric and Kade...the world!...I'm it's only hope... I'm such an idiot.

Kumi finally got back to the others, only to find them alseep. She giggled and then sat down to get back to work.

Snows ears twitched and she looked twards Kumi "Is something funny?" she asked befor she looked around to see everyone that had fallen asleep while she was staring at the sky for what seemed like a moment to her.

Serene finally calmed as her dreams turned into nothingness and the frightening images finally leaked away to leave her to a dreamless sleep.

Akuji woke up after awhile later. He rubbed his head and yawned. "I should go to the mountain now..." he said solomely.

Serene woke up silently snd got up after Akuji was out of sight. She silently followed him without him noticing, seeing the figure in black she shrunk behind a bush.
I will not let him do this alone...if I die...I'll die...

Snow appeared in front of Serene"What are you doing?Akuji said he wanted to us to let him go alone.Didnt you hear him when he said he wouldnt be able to fogive himself if any of us got hurt. I dont want him do die as much as do but even more i want him to have no regrets if he dies" she said to Serene

Akuji headed up the mountain. He looked back, then turned around quickly. I can't look back anymore...I might not survive...and looking back won't make ti any easier to leave.

Kumi stopped sewing and then looked up to the mountain and then back down again. She sat there alone since the others sercretly followed Akuji. She knew she wouldn't It'd only making it harder on Akuji, wouldn't it? She thoughtas she shoved aside her work and then looked over at the souless shell that were Kade and Sedric and let out a sigh.

Akuji walked slower as he neared the top of the mountain. He took a deep breath with a pause, then walked forward.
The man met him at the top. He stood with a large grin on his face. "Finally, you've arrived." he taunted. He shook the pouch that held Sedric and Kade's jewels lightly to make Akuji uneasy. "They'll be here to watch."
Akuji glared at him. "No tricks, not magic." he said. "That was the deal."
The man nodded. "Yup, that was the deal." he smiled, then pulled out a sword. "You go first."

Kumi kinda felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders when the others left beacuse she didn't need to pretend to be happy and cheerful anymore.

Akuji took another breath, then charged at him with his sowrd in the air. He plunged it down towards him.
The man dodged it, then stabbed his own sword at Akuji, getting blocked. This started a swift close range battle as their swords clashed together.
