The only thing I've done lately like that is volunteering to be treasurer on the PTA like thing at Logan's preschool. I think I've learned my lesson. sweatdrop

When D starts preschool I have to help with the snacks. I'm supposed to send him in with a snack for everyone now and again. I was told that some parents just send them in with those gummy fruit snacks which I don't keep in the house because while they might be fruit flavored to some extent most of them tend to have way too much sugar.

Ok, thank goodness my hell week is over. Maybe I can get back to normal now.
The candle show this weekend stunk so bad. I ended up selling 26 candles but that was only because one of my regulars came in and bought an entire case xp
The Organizer of the show let in other candle people after she told me she was only wanting "the best" and she wasn't letting any more candle people in, just me.
Well, she let in the boy scouts. She said "I can't say no to the Boy scouts!" They had tons and tons of candle stuff all different sizes and colors. Apparently some lady started a candle business and wasn't making money so she donated it all to the boy scouts. They were trying to just get rid of it so nothing on their table was over 4 dollars. gonk I'm telling you that people in my rural area don't go for alot of fancy stuff. That's why I stick to simple 8 ounce jars. Besides, the shipping on those huge jars kills me. The boy scount lady even came over and was telling me how she buys candles from me and that the ones they are selling are "crappy candles". She eventually bought 3 but that's the least she can do after killing my sales.
There was also a home interiors lady next to me. She tells me that "I was told there was another candle lady coming so I just brought my Christmas Scents". Does that make sense to any of you? I mean, what the heck did she think I was going to bring to a Christmas craft show? neutral rolleyes
The organizer of the show spent alot of time at other booths. Sitting at them and talking to the vendors. Guess whose both she didn't come to? The only thing we said to each other was when I was standing at the door and she says "sold anything?" and I said "no.. but many people are buying at the boy scouts" and she says "well, that's a one shot deal" Yeah.. well she's a florist and I didn't see her letting in other florists to this show. She can just cram it as far as I am concerned. She seems to be mad at ME because I'm not happy with HER. How's that for logic xp

Sashanaru, that sounds incredibly frustrating. If you're paying to be part of the craft shows and are promised that there won't be other candle sellers there, maybe next time you could get it in writing? That way if there are other candle sellers there, it would be easier to ask for your money back.
Angiemademe, happy birthday!

Yeah, if she asks me to do it again next year, I'm going to agree to it only if she pays attention to her promises this time. They did have an awesome santa but for some reason my camera took the crappiest pics ever. (My camera is usually good.. crying ) That's my little sister in the picture.
