Smiling at the warrior, she said kindly, "BUt of course, Brokensoul. You are our clanmate. No half-witted soul is going to stop us from knowing that. Besides, nobody wants you to go through what happened to Fathom. That was just...brutal. I hope you can learn to control him, but we'll be here if you ever fail, waiting for you to return."
[She nodded to him with a soft smile and licked his head comfortingly.]
"You'll have to stay in camp more often. It's obvious he gets a foothold when you're alone."
[She nodded to him and flicked her ears at Mudnose. She could see the pain in the she-cat's eyes bisibly. She strolled over to her and stroked her tail across the she-cat's flank, and licked her head comfortingly.]
"If you truly love him," she whispered wisely, a distant look in her eyes, "You won't let him tear himself away. He's only trying to protect you, that's how he sees iit..."
[She nodded kindly to the warrior and left the den (orwherever they were it's confusing) and padded to the fresh-kill pile, feeling a ravenous hunger fall over her from so much stress. She pickd a skinny bird and dug into it, her eyes clouded with thoughts again.
[o]Purepaw and Richpaw are old enough to be warriors...their mentors told me so...hm.... she thought absently to herself, picking at the bird.]

[Mudnose jumped slightly at Lavenderstar's voice, but as she talked, she still looked at her paws. She didn't listen to her. She didn't want to talk about it. As Lavenderstar left, she stood up on shaky legs. She was going hunting. Far away from this place.

 The dark thought of ones mind... ☾Brokensoul☾ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [Brokensoul looked hopefully up at his leader and watched her leave to eat some fresh-kill. Brokensoul decided to check on Scorchpaw to make sure she was okay. He padded out of the apprentices den and into the medicine den, knowing Scorchpaw was probrably getting her neck wound checked. He coughed up a bit of blood.] Why does Shadow even like this stuff! [Brokensoul thought, digusted. He poked his head inside the medicine cat's den and mewed.] "Scorchpaw...are you okay?" [Brokensoul felt his thoughts fill with complete fear..] Shadow...he's just waiting, waiting for the right time to take control...when my defenses are low or I'm distracted...then he will take control. [Brokensoul stiffened when he heard Shadow's laugh.] You are completely consumed in fear...this just makes my task more easier.... [Brokensoul let out a hiss.] No Shadow, as long as I keep my defenses up you can't control me! [Shadow let out a snicker and meowed darkly.] Oh Brokensoul...stop trying to hide that fear of yours...heh, you know it tastes delicious on the tip of my lips... [Brokensoul tried to get Shadow out of his thoughts but Shadow's scent wreathed around him, Brokensoul felt like he couldn't breathe. He began to sway side to side, confusion clouding his mind, his eyes beginning to glaze. His ears burned when he heard Shadow's laugh growing stronger, it seemed like the only thing he could hear.] Please someone help me... [Brokensoul thought in despair before feeling numb, then unconscious.] [Shadow laughed, he wasn't quite in control of Brokensoul...yet.] Someday I will control Brokensoul...seems easy to take control of his body! [Shadow decided not to take full control...until the timing was right and Scorchpaw was alone.] This is the second time...I almost got you Scorchpaw...I'll get you Foxfur!

"WHAT?!" she roared. Purepaw flinched, but Lavenderstar continued in a snarl, "Don't we have enough to deal with as it is?! I won't stand for this, not at all!"
[Lavenderstar stalked out of her den angrily, Purepaw trailing behind.]
"Fellow NightClan warriors!" she yowled. "Two SeaClan she-cats have crossed our borders and refuse to return! Cinderwing is defending our territory alone. Let us go to his aid and teach those mouse-brains a lesson! I do not want uneccessary fighting, but we must do what we can!
Tigerfang, Eaglesoar (both inactive cats...I'll just RP their actions I guess), Lightsound, and Starkcloud, let's go! Foxfur, stay here and defend camp."
[Lavenderstar bolted into a dash, Purepaw scuttling after hastily.]
Turning to Lightsound, Lavenderstar added darkly, "This is a test to see how loyal you are to us. Don't prove yourself unworthy."

[I sat down outside Lavenderstar's den, watching Mudnose go, a deep sadness in my eyes. I barely heard my leader's words, but nodded at her retreating form. I glanced over at Brokensoul, and using all my strength, hauled myself to my paws. I headed over to him, and nosed the tom, my eyes narrowed]
"Brokensoul? Oh wonderful. He's unconscious" I muttered.
[I unsheathed my claws in case Shadow took over once more and sat down, my amber eyes scanning the camp. Everything hurt]
"This is all your fault, you stupid cat.." I growled quietly to Brokensoul's form, "Stupid Shadow, you mousebrain, just had to go and ruin everything, didn't you?"
[My claws tore angrily at the frozen ground, wanting to somehow rip Shadow from Brokensoul and kill him already]

[Mudnose padded cheerily into camp, her slightly crooked tail swishing behind her, curling with satisfaction. Her mind was on birds chirping in greenleaf. This was going to be a good day, whether her instincts liked it or not. She ooked around, avoiding Foxfur's eyes as she did so. Come to think of it.....he was the only warrior in camp. Where had everyone went?
She felt herself suddenly collide with something small. She held back a yowl, finding herself sitting on a golden colored kit. She laughed slightly, stepping off of the she-kit.] "Sorry Sunkit!" [she giggled, patting the kit on her head with a light paw.
A sudden cold wind cut across the clearing, blowing flurries of snow into her face. Her eyes narrowed slightly, but she still remained in her playful mood. She didn't like the snow. It wasn't because it was cold, since she couldn't feel the rumored bitterness of the cold; it was much too plain. If the snow was a different color like orange...or yellow -no, not yellow. That's bad- then she believed that she would like it a little better. Though it did chase away the prey in leaf-bare.
Her eyes quickly rested on Sunkit, smiling slightly.] "What're you doing pacing around camp for anyways? [Guardiankit shifted in his sleep.
He was having a nice dream about a meadow and yellow butterflies. Silentkit was there with him, lauging and playing with him, leaping with all four legs to catch the pretty things. They were having fun when suddenly the butterflies disappeared. He looked around. THe meadow had grown silent, and the air was still. Silentkit was gone.
"Silentkit?" he called, sniffing. "Silentkit, where'd ya go?"
He swiveled his head around growing panicked. There were eyes glinting at him from the shadows. Red, blue, green, yellow- all staring and cackling at him.
"We have her now..." they whispered at him. "You've failed your sister yet again!"
He heard Silentkit scream and he suddenly dashed into a sprint, running after her. "Silentkit! Silentkit! SILENTKIT!" he screamed.
He skidded into a clearing and saw himself at the moonpool. Silentkit was walking on the water. He called out to her. She turned to him, her eyes dull. "I wish I could be happy," she whispered silently, to the water.
Then she slowly began to sink into the moonpool, closing her eyes. The water swallowed her up and covered where she once was with ripples. Guardiankit screamed and tried running after her, but stopped as the waves lapped his paws. He hissed-they stung his feet like something terrible.
"Stay back" a voice hissed at him. "I won't let you hurt anyone anymore!"
He looked around, his eyes growing scared. "M-mommy?" he whispered, recognizing the voice.
"It's time to wake up," the voice told him angrily. Something splashed at his feet.
"...Fathom."
Guardiankit looked down into the water. He saw the face of a warrior, staring back at him with wide crimson eyes.
The water suddenly reached out at him. He screamed, scrambling back. The water was in the shape of cats-so many cats! They snarled and reached at him. The water-cats reached towards him! He tried desperately to run away, but they splashed into him and dragged him back with their weight.
There was a flurry of movement as he tried to run, fearfully. "Don't run!" the told him. "We're trying to help you!"
He knew they were lying. They had to be! The water stung his pelt somehow and he screamed as it sizzled.
"Don't forsake yourself!" they yowled, but he tried to claw his way out.
Everywhere he looked, there was a splash of water. And he kept seeing his reflection- those crimson eyes, that hollow look. He cried again as the water pulled him in deep into the moonpool, thrashing and gurgling as the stinging water filled his lungs.
"You have to save her!" the voice rang in her ears. "Before it's too late-"
Then an explosion of light and pain enveloped him. Then it faded into darkness, aching and cold darkness....
Guardiankit scrambled, his eyes flying open. He was panting heavily and looked around wildly. He let out a sigh of relief as he recognized the nursery den. Phew he thought.
He turned to check on Silentkit and froze.
...where...
He looked around. The den was empty of Silentkit.
...WHERE IS SHE.
He jumped to his feet, his silver eyes wide.
WHERE IS SHE.
He padded forward slowly, then at a faster pace, and soon broke into a gallop.
WHERE IS SHE?!
The thought repeated in his head. He ran quickly, paws drumming the ground. He followed her fading scent, heart pounding. He saw a figure in the distance dragging itself along the ground.]
"SILENTKIT!" he wailed, skidding to a stop in front of her so he wouldn't hurt her. "You had me so worried! What are you doing out here alone?!"
[He looked at her with terrified and relieved eyes, his body still trembling from the desparation of finding her.]
"I thought I'd lost you...I thought you were...oh Silentkit, I had the most terrible dream..." he whispered, shuddering at the thought.]_______________________________________________ I will repent for what I've done to you

Shadow would play his little game. He decided to act like Brokensoul, so he wouldn't get in trouble of course. "The battle at the borders," she gasped, "is getting...worse. More SeaClan cats are...coming. We need...help..."
[She collapsed on the ground finally, her energy spent. Several NightClan cats dashed out {{NP}}. One of them, Birchcloud, dragged her to Hauntedheart's den and ran off.] ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire

"I don't know if it's you talking or not, Shadow, but if you're listening, I swear to StarClan, I'll kill you if it's the last thing I do, you mangy piece of fox dung. You've caused enough trouble"
[Then Purepaw came bounding in, but I could not leave. I had to stay here. Shadow could strike at Scorchpaw at any moment. Willowheart came bounding into camp and heard the small apprentice's words and bounded back out, heading for the border]
