Rias opened her eyes. They were still foggy. She finally lifted her arm and drank some of her blood. It ran through her limbs. She needed to do something. That little girl. The one called Illiana. She would take her. Keep her from the darkness. She hadn't yet realized that the war was over. She was still in the past. Besides, Nari wouldn't simply let anything harm her if she could help it. Rias stood slowly. She stretched her wings and glanced around. There had been a battle nearby. SHe shot up into the air and headed toward the place where she assumed the child to be. It was lucky for her that she could detect which auras belonged to who.

"Now that's odd." she remarked once her and Rivven had left the castle and started to search for Wedsday. "According to the ki, he's here but he's not. I can't get anything really definate." It felt like a dream, when one couldn't read the words to a book in there they still knew what it said.......

"Really?" Rivven would have thought that if they could find each other by ki so easily that he never would have been 'lost' to begin with, but apparantly there were complications. He looked about for a sign, but nothing obvious appeared before him. "Does that mean a dead end? I can probably track him for at least a little if we find a place we can be certain he was, some place to look for a trail around, but if not what do you think we should do? Maybe see if anyone else has had any luck?"

She could feel out Wedsday easier than some other ki users because she'd had sex with him. The principals let her know vaguely where Mordrid had been, and rest of the Cornwall family before their conversion to Christianity.

"We'll simply need to walk around, and trust in whatever luck is out there. I really don't think there's much else we can do."

"I guess we just walk then..." Rivven said, leaning in toward her a little, and sqeezing her very gently with the arm around her before walking on to keep looking. Not that she seemed too bothered, but something was going on, and it wasn't likely to be good. At the very least, Black Amber was tight knit and it would effect others negatively.

"Oh- well I can feel- huh." it felt like magic. Maybe that was what had been giving her so much trouble? In any case, it ticked her off that someone was trying to play with her "Let's go straight forward, deeper into the wilderness."

Rivven blinked.

She was right. There was some voice in his head right then... he thought it sounded like a womans, but just suddenly some connection in his mind, drawing him in one direction.

His whole body tensed up at once. What the hell? Maybe it was just his past as a killer, maybe it was his paranoia, but he found it remarkably suspicious. Still... he found himself drawn, and with no real reason to go against it, just suspicion with no base. And Morgan was feeling it too. "Right." he said, turning straight that direction with her and heading deeper, straight toward the signal.

*walks into the wilderness*...

Rapine appeared just to the left of Rivven, and walked to him. There was something about the pair that it didn't like, but it simply was not in it's nature to ignore anyone.

There was something wrong with the male, the lifeforce felt wrong to Rapine. Nothing malicious, but it was unlike any force that the diety had ever encountered.

And it knew what the female was.

A witch, a mortal that thought it could take the power of the gods and use it for it's own whims. Again, Rapine bore no one ill will, but still approached with some reservations.

We have been very busy today, I regret that I have not introduced myself sooner. It said to Rivven.

Chanti never liked the wilderness. The very name itself implied a wild nature that she still wasn't quite used to. She'd come to Black Amber via the forest, but since then had tried to avoid it. Now, with Quin, she made her way reluctantly through it to find Wedsday.

"I really don't know how we can avoid being lost in here."

Quin nodded in agreement, sure if someone had spent enough time here they would know there way around; but Quin had yet to do that. So he had kept to the paths. "True, I hope he leaves a trail for others to follow. How furitive could he be in his current mental state?"

A little on edge already, the diety's appearance beside him was enough, and the voice going into his head surely didn't ease his nerves, to make him spin about sharply, facing Rapine and clutching at his dagger's hilt with one hand while the other shot up in front of him to ward off any sudden attacks, legs spread wide for balance and mobility.

Only what he was facing didn't seem hostile at all, and it was that familiar voice. For a second his body only grew tenser when he recognized this, but then his muscles all relaxed at once and he stood straight, hand coming away from his dagger.

Still, he tried to stand roughly between it and Morgan, without shifting his position noticably.

Rivven wasn't sure if he should speak to it, or... think back, so he tried thinking as he spoke. "Indeed. And who are you- or perhaps, rather, who is 'we'?" He didn't look around, but adding the fact that it seemed to know at least a little about them if it had orchastrated and 'scheduled' a time to meet them, said 'we', and came at them out of no where while someone was missing, he wasn't feeling particularly trustful. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that he'd been feeling oddly almost ill since he'd woken.
