Ivy smiled and gently took Charles in her arms and held him.

"So it seems." Ivy said in response to Raziel comment about the chaos eaters.

"I have a few things I want to ask you Raziel about Charles. I hope you'll grant me the honest answers to said questions."

Delicacy?! He really wasnt that tasty.. was he? Alucard struggled a little and wiggled, but it only seemed to draw more attention. Either way the stupid plan worked. Vincent had gotten what he wanted. This would all be over soon.

"I'm ThE DeLiCaCy, NoT yOu. It'S mE tHeY wAnT."

The Drill Worms led the group deeper into the hives, stopping at a massive chamber with an equally massive circular door at the end. In the center of the room was a circular depression, and surrounding said depression were highly perched statues of demons. They demanded a sacrifice, so one of the worms tossed in a grunt into the depression. It went up in black flames, and the doors split open. Behind that was the biggest worm ever spawned. Like the Drill Worms, she had eyes and many limbs, but a crown-like crest completely surrounding the back of her head. She made The Beast look like a palm-sized action figure! She made everything look very tiny in comparison! There were eggs everywhere, each being tended to by a grunt. The Queen herself was being tended to by another worm about half her size. That must've been a King.

She sniffed the air, then abruptly leaned her face completely downward to stare at Alucard directly. She sniffed him too.

"Five," said Angeles quietly looking back at the girl. She appeared to be about ten, maybe twelve now. So she had at least doubled in age due to the vampire's blood. She wondered what would happen if the scientist would do it again. Would her body turn twenty while her mind remained five? Would her mind eventually catch up or would she have to be taught to act the age her body was.

Angeles found herself hoping that the rash woman was not in charge of Lilly's care taking and upbringing; there wasn't enough room in the world for two women like that, "who is it that takes care of you?" Angeles asked, unable to stop herself.

She smiled slightly afterward, "tell me about D," she said in a hushed almost reverent voice.

Angeles listened closely but ended up being disappointed. Lilly seemed to not know much about the Dhampir hunter that Angeles did not already know from rumor. But the mention of someone named 'Daggerfang,' piqued her interest. D had been infamous for many things, one of them was his near outright refusal to get attached to anything, especially people; yet the way Ivy spoke seemed to make this Daggerfang something special to the Dhampir.

"So much for that reputation," she murmured, reigning Alexandria to a stop outside the bunker. She paused and shook her head, she did not want to go back down there. Not with the descendant of Dracula one her hatefest, the scientist that wanted to destroy all vampires, and the angel. Angeles closed her eyes before dismounting and lifting a hand to help Lilly down, "I won't be going down there," she said solemnly, "it isn't pleasant to be around those people. You are the only kind one it seems."

She turned and unlatched the saddle bags and handed them to Lilly, "I will wait here for you to return with the bags, afterward, I should be leaving."

Angeles smiled slightly, "I would like to stay to meet them," she said kindly, "but the people in there seem to want me to leave more than anything else. The last thing I want is a vampire hybrid woman to tear out my throat, a scientist to change me human, and an angel to burn me to a crisp.

"We don't know when they will be back, the sun may have risen by then, and the only sanctuary for me would be in there with all those that would rather have me dead, I may as well stay in the sunlight. It might even take days for them to return..."

Alexandria snorted and let her head down to eat some grass casually. Angeles looked over at her and sighed, looking at the grass before looking up at the sky. It would be a few more hours until sunrise, the sky was still dark, she took this moment to think of what it is she would ultimately decide to do.

Angeles listened to Lilly's explanations and smiled when the child did, "I'm not used to putting me among people who don't like me unless I'm out to kill them," she slipped the saddlebags over her shoulder, "but if you really want me to go, I'll go," she then made her way towards the entrance to the bunker. She patted the horse's neck and Alexandria stayed put, continuing to eat.

Her eyes adjusted to the pitch darkness of the tunnel that led the way down and she slowed her steps, still hesitating to go back into that room, "would you like to carry the meat? It was your kill after all, you should walk in bearing your trophy."
