Saya woke up and yawned hugely. Rubbing her eyes, she looked around, wondering just what seemed off about the picture. It took a few moments, but eventually she caught on. She had shrank! Wait, no, that wasn't it. Looking around again, then down at herself, she found the real reason. She had fallen out of bed! Spending a few moments fighting free from the tangled bedsheets, she finally freed herself, before getting to her feet. Glaring halfheartedly at her bed, she kicked the pile of sheets. Only to wail in pain and hop around clutching her now injured foot. Scowling, she carefully lifted the sheets, muttering as she exposed what had hurt her foot. Her bag? Oh yeah, that's right, she had never taken out the books she had gotten from the library. They ran the gamut from cooking to history to poetry. A little of everything, and she had been so interested in each of the topics when she thought about it. Yet now... now they didn't seem quite as interesting, now that they had hurt her foot. Oh, she would probably still end up reading them, but maybe not cover to cover, like she had so earnestly swore the night before. Oh well. Still wincing from her stubbed toe, she staggered to the washroom to get ready for the day. A long shower, a thorough combing of her rather unkempt hair, then a few minutes humming while she brushed her teeth, and then she was ready to go. Doing up the last button on her shirt, she forgoed her bag entirely and left, the door getting locked before she left. She didn't have much planned for the day, not yet anyways. That was just how she operated, she didn't make plans. That way she never had to change plans last minute, and it also left plenty of chances for new and unexpected fun. Running at a casual pace down the street, she nodded in reply as some of her neighbors called out to her. It was a fine morning, and she had already forgotten about her hurt toe. Her neighbors were friendly, the weather was perfect, and she had all day to find something or someone interesting. What more could she want? A slight grumbling sound answered her question, right on cue. Breakfast! She'd forgotten it! "It's the most important meal of the day, after all!" she said to nobody in particular, before looking around to spy someplace to grab a bite to eat. She had some change in her pocket, surely she could afford at least a little something. She found a small bistro, which didn't seem too busy. By the time it was her turn in line, however, she was even hungrier. It took a moment thinking over her options, until finally she went with what seemed to her a perfectly normal breakfast. "Lessee, I'll have two bottles of milk and... and a bearclaw!" Paying for her breakfast and picked the tray up, she went to an open table and plunked herself down, ready to dig in. A sweet pastry and some ice-cold milk, what could be a better way to start the day? [529 out of 2200 ]

▂▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ Xio Zoto █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂▂"They said shadow couldn't kill you...
Xio stepped away from the boy as he turned to face her fully. Something about him was calm, and slightly confused. She wanted to laugh about it badly, and settled on a twisted smirk. Her green eyes never strayed from his face, she kept her entire attention on him. She was sort of shocked when he told her he was attracted to her insanity, for he was the first person to ever say something like that. She raised an eyebrow as he seemed to calm down, while her curiosity was rising to greater levels. she knew nothing about him personally, but her shadows could show her enough to know he was like her. Slipping off the edge, ether by choice of against the will, and losing what humanity they had left. Soon he asked why she uses two personalities and why she wasn't scare of him. She simply laughed, waving off some shadows that were lingering on her arms and shoulders.
"Fear you? I don't fear people. And to answer your questions..."She began as she quickly dashed around the tree, appearing behind him not even a second later. She leaned in and whispered in his ear. "There just who I want to be, and who I am." She said in a tone that held both insanity and seductive in it. She spun on her heels, before turning to look back at him. She now stood in the shadows of a tree, as she darkness under her began to slither up her body. She smiled when the man told her his name. Now she could at least call him a name, instead of 'scarecrow-boy' Even if she did think the title fit. She smile at him, her green eyes narrowed slightly. She looked at his head band in his hand. So he was from the Hidden Moon? Interesting. She nodded, before bowing in a slight gesture.
"I'm Xio of the Hidden Void." She concluded. She stood up, before making her way back to him. She made circles around him, observing every inch of him. Eli was certainly an interesting fello.
"Let me ask some questions of my own..." She started.

Eli looked at her behind his mask. He could only wonder how you couldn't be scared of him. Everything he did was to create fear. He wanted to strike fear in the hearts of their soul. However, she didn't even see that.. she could see past him. He only gave a slight smile as he pulled off his fancy hat. He sat it besides them and he only got a bit closer to her. As he started to whisper in her ear. She asked him a question. He didn't say this with any hesistation. He didn't doubt this in his mind when he looked in her eyes. He licked his lips a bit and he got as clsoe to her ear as possible. "I want to kill you as bad as you want to kill me." He said as he started to bite his lip. He was getting excited by the very thought of her blood spluttering over him. He just wanted to run his hands through her and take her soul as part of his own. He smiled though a genine smile as he learned her name. Xio... of Hidden Void. He rubbed his chin for a moment and he finally started to talk again. "Xio of the Hidden Void.. that is very interesting. I wonder how they will feel once one of their own don't come home... But the strange thing is.. I don't want to kill you yet.. you are interesting...Your hair is pretty..." He said oddly. He didn't know how to deal with thigns like this.. master never taughth im. It was all about murder and death. So him beign around another human that wasn't to die was strange for him. He didn't know if he wanted to slit her throat and touch it.. would an interesting time..this would be for him.

▂▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ Xio Zoto █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂▂"They said shadow couldn't kill you...
Xio felt the shiver running up her spine when he whispered in her ear. It almost sent her over the edge. To feel the blood rushing through the veins as such a fast rate. All she had to do, was cut off his head, and feed it to her little 'pets' as dinner. He commented on how much he wanted to kill her, and how much she wanted to kill him. He wasn't far off, but she wanted to kill everyone equally. The young Zoto listened as he talked, listening to every words. Then he commented on her hair. She let out a snort, before picking up his hat and placing it on her own head. She smiled.
"For someone who's insane enough to make my...friends go wild," she began as she ventured over a near by tree. "You surely are a odd one, aren't you?" She asked as her green eyes seemed to gleem and flare up with cold flames. The area seems to be getting a bit darker with every every word she said.
"But there is a difference between us." She said again. She quickly went behind the tree, climbing up it as quickly as any teacher. She waited enough for Eli to wonder where she went, she flipped over a tree branch, just above him. She was looking down at him, her hair dangling in his face. Her green eyes were the only color he could see.
"My insanity burns brighter." She said in a hushed whisper.

Eli looked at her and he could smile as she talked about her little friends. He pointed to himself with a bit of awkward pose. He didn't understand what it was to be odd. She besides the other boy that was in the group.. he hadn't really dealt with other people. So maybe he was odd. He hadn't really thought about. He pulled out one of his twin swords and scratched his head with the blade. He just wanted to jam his balde into her repeatedly... it would have been an exprience that they both could share. Penetration and recieving.. It would have been amazing. However.. it wasn't the time yet. "Am I odd? I didn't know that." He watched her put on his hat and he only it the inside of his cheek. He twirled the blade around for a moment or two letting it adjust in his finger. She was talented to say the least. She had a raw power that was going to explode when she mastered it. She was..almost scary and he didn't know if he loved it..or wanted to hurt more for it. He twirled his finger in her hair and he looked up at her with a bit of twisted smile behind his mask. He wanted that kind of power. But he wasn't skilled with darkness like she was. He would have to learn how to be the most powerful member of his clan. His dull lifeless eyes only finished anaylizing the academy. "True... you may be more insane than me.. but I am going to be the only that is able to kill you.. I am your end. You were made for me to kill don't you see? I am the only thing that can give you enternal rest....But I think I want you around for a while. Because you are the only thing that might be worth while." He said with a frown. He didn't know exactly what she was.... well to him. If he was going to kill her..would he be lonely again. It was a shame..that these thoughts had to bother him. He only placed his short blade back as he had a short coughing fit. He was going to like her..she would be his 'friend'... at least until he killed her.

▂▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ Xio Zoto █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂▂"They said shadow couldn't kill you...
The girl listened to his explanation to how he was going to kill her when they were older and more stronger. It made perfect sense to her, but she wasn't about to let a scarecrow-boy kill her. She simply smiled and watched as he entwined his fingers in her raven locks. She wasn't about to let her existence be whipped on the earth without her finishing what she had been doing. The shadows were now dancing around them like crowds of people watching a fight go down. She giggled as she knew their time together had been short, but it was coming to a close. She needed to go get her headband so she could leave this hell hold and get on with her training. As the young psychopath looked down at the killer, she laughed. She grabbed onto the branch and completely flipped over, landing on her feet. The girl was fairly close to his face, watching his every move.
"Glad you feel that way. Wouldn't want someone with false dreams to fall into despair." She said in a rather taunting way. She turned on her heels and went back into the shade of one of the trees. Just as she was about to enter her shadows again, she stopped. She turned to look over her shoulder.
"Oh... I won't be easy prey..." With that being said, she disappeared in her shadows of insanity and reappeared in the Academy. It was his choice to find her, but it was also his choice to leave. She quickly calmed herself down, and quickly became her other self. She timidly walked down the halls, before hearing her name called. She looked down the halls to see two teachers.
"Xio Zoto. You are now officially Genin of the Hidden Void." The teacher said and gave her headband. She thanked them, before putting it around her neck. She smiled to herself, making her way out of the academy and towards her home village, the Hidden Void.

Saya had taken time finishing her impromptu breakfast, but all the same it was only the work of a few moments to polish off the pastry and milk. Getting up, she made sure to dispose of her trash, before continuing on her way. Now that she had had a bite to eat, she was ready for the day's challenges. Whatever they were! She spent the next hour inspecting some of the small kiosks that had sprouted up with daybreak, small portable shops selling everything from shoes to ships to sealing wax. She didn't really need any of that, and she didn't have that much money, so she contented herself with just window shopping for the time being. Eventually she'd have more money, and when that time came, she could well come back and buy one or two of those curious oddments. All further vague thoughts like that were summarily dropped, however, as she rounded the corner and saw a crowd beginning to form. A crowd, what in the world had it gathered for? Was someone fighting? It seemed of late, people were fighting at the drop of a hat. In one case literally, one person had bumped into another, and caused their hat to fall onto the ground. The next thing she knew, the duo had been fighting, punching and kicking with all their strength. It was broken up after a few moments, but both combatants had gotten quite a few ouchies from all of that. Hopefully this wasn't the same thing happening all over again! She rushed forward, squirming into the crowd as she made her way toward the epicenter of the chaos. Once she reached it, she stopped, surprised. Rather than a fight, she saw... a barker? An honest to goodness barker, nowadays? She'd heard of them, but never seen one before. What else could they be, though? Greased back black hair under a straw hat, red and white striped shirt, and a smile that seemed far too charismatic. It seemed he was in the middle of his spiel, too. "Step right up, don't be shy, I've got the offer of a lifetime to any who are brave enough to take it! Why, you may ask, what could be so amazing? Well I'll tell you sonny-boy, what I'm selling is none other than opportunity! Yes, right here and right now, I'm selling that very thing that makes the future golden! I'm selling luck and dreams! Now, what would a fair price be for such an amazing offer? One hundred dollars? Two hundred? Five hundred? Not even close! Normally, such an offer would be measured in the thousands! But, and of course there's a but, ladies and gents, today and today only, I'm offering this one of a kind offer for the low low low price of... free! Yes that's right, today only, you can seize your future with your own hands, and get your opportunity now, on demand! Come on now, who's brave enough to try it? How about you missy?" This last was directed toward Saya, but her eyes were practically spinning already from just listening to the offer. The barker snapped his fingers in front of her eyes a few times, and she seemed to snap awake. "I'll do it!" The barker grinned at this before gesturing her up onto the small soapbox alongside him. Going along with the moment, she did, wondering just what an 'opportunity' looked like. Could she carry it in her pocket, could she frame it in a locket? Instead, it seemed, it was... a piece of paper. Disappointed, she looked at the barker, only to recieve the instructions to write her name down. After a moment's fumbling with the pen, she succeeded, whereupon the barker picked up the paper, wadded it up into a ball, and tossed it into the air. As it rose up, he pulled the curtain away from the confounding contraption stationed just beyhind him. There were pipes, gears and pulelys; flanges, hinges and whistles, even a conveyor belt! Topped with a funnel, which the paper neatly fell into, in a perfect buzzerbeater from the half-court. Whatever that meant. The machine burbled to life, steam whistling, gears grinding, conveyor spinning. In a few short moments, the machine popped out a small box, complete with a bow. This was handed to Saya, who took it carefully, unsure of what it was. The barker was quick to explain. "This is just the first part of your amazing opportunity, missy! All you have to do is keep that box with you, and open it in one hour! Then you will recieve your full opportunity, in all it's glory! Alright, so who's next!" It seemed Saya's role was done, as the rest of the crowd was stirred into a frenzy over the promise of an actual opportunity. She was promptly squeezed out of the way as the rest of the customers thronged the soapbox, clamoring for their own opportunities. The machine whistled even louder as it gamely kept up with the increased demand, while Saya continued on her way, box tucked neatly in a pocket. After getting her 'opportunity', Saya continued to wander the streets for a while. Getting distracted here and there by the latest wares, or listening idly to gossip, over who had done what, and all of that sort of thing. There was nothing holding her down, nothing she needed to do, she was as free as a bird. Perhaps that was why she was about as scatterbrained as one. In the end, it was noticeably more than an hour later when she even realized that the box was still in her pocket. Plucking it out, she looked around for a clock, just to make sure that yes, it was actually at least an hour later. Whatever the opportunity was, hopefully it didn't require being prompt! Once she had found the time, there seemed to be nothing left to do but open the box. Rather than be wary of a trap or a trick, or even find someplace quiet and out of the way, she just opened it, spending no more time on the wrapping than on the bag surrounding a sandwich. Once the box was opened, all that was inside was a index card with an address on it. Wait a second, she knew where that was! That was that big building on the other side of town! Well, she might as well see what reason she could have to go there! She looked at the reverse of the cards, but it was blank. It seemed her goal would have to remain a mystery until she actually found it. No matter, what was the worst that could happen? Even with the location on the card being clear on the other side of town, it only took Saya a few minutes to reach it. Oh, she may not have much determination, but when she would actually commit to a goal, she could do surprising things. Skidding to a stop, she looked up at the large building. Ignoring the sign off to the side, she walked right in the front door. Only to trip over a rope tied at the base of the doorway. This trip turned into a slide as she landed on a wheeled plank which sent her carroming down the hall. Down the hall, and through the open window at the end. From there, she found out that this building came equipped with a pool, as she landed right in it. Sputtering, she coughed up some water before doggy-paddling to the side and managing to get out after a few failed attempts. "What in the world was all of that?!""Really, you fell for every last one? Did you do all of that on purpose?"Saya turned to see who had said this, only to blink in surprise as she saw the barker. His voice sounded different, though... She blinked again as he pulled his face off, revealing a new one under it. The basic structure of the face was the same, but otherwise, the only other clue that this young man was the barker was the outfit he was wearing, and already slipping out of, to reveal something completely different. She could see numerous pouches and pockets, and even a few strapped-on blades. As well, this new face bore a few painful looking scars. This, then, was no barker, but... "Whoa! You aren't a barker, you're a biter!"Utter silence reigned for a long moment, before the sound of flesh striking flesh could be heard. The 'biter' had struck their own face with their palm over the absurd statement they had just heard. "By the Thousand Gods, just kill me now..."[604 + 1384 = 1988 out of 2200+ ]

After her less than graceful entrance, it quickly became all too clear that Saya was one of the least qualified people to become a ninja that the instructor had ever seen. Numerous times she just completely lost interest in what she was doing, and simply walked off to work on something else. That had proven disatrous one time in particular, when she had been in the middle of kunai practice. She had just turned on her heel and wandered off, right through the firing lines! The other students responded quickly, adjusting their aim to miss her, but in the process quite a few of them had to then jump wildly out of the way, to miss the kunai that were now coming toward them! Never mind her horrible showing in the Water Walking technique. The instructor had yet to see her come even close to succeeding, and he had just given up when she started bringing her rubber duckie with her. All in all, she seemed utterly hopeless, unskilled and completely unmotivated. The instructor couldn;t even imagine a worse candidate. Yet there was little he could do, he wasn't allowed to expel students unless they willingly broke the rules or didn't show up. Neither of which were among the myriad faults she seemed to possess. So as aggravating as it was, he was stuck with her. Time passed painfully slowly, and no matter how many weeks went by, no matter how many other students came and went, she remained. This continued for weeks, for months even. Until finally, one day, the instructor had had enough. Showing far more patience than he normally possessed, in letting her stay this long. Finally, though, he had had it. He'd simply give her the most grueling and dangerous obstacle course ever, and when she got badly hurt, she'd have to leave! For her own protection, of course. And she had already proven that she couldn't even avoid basic pranks, the plan was foolproof! And Saya was certainly a fool! As he dismissed class for the day, he motioned her over, to tell her the good news, about how she 'had been doing so well', that she deserved a chance at the advanced training course. She didn't doubt his motives in the slightest, she agreed in an instant. The next morning, instead of classes, she'd report directly to the fifth training field. [398 + 1988 = 2386 out of 2200+ ]

The rest of the day went quickly enough, then night, and then morning eventually rolled around. Showing a shocking level of determination, Saya did indeed show up at the training field like she was supposed to, instead of getting sidetracked by something shiny. The instructor arrived a few moments later, and sighed with relief when he saw that yes, she had shown up. If this plan hadn't worked... But no, now he wouldn't have to do something violent, this was better. He gestured to the obstacle field, but made no move to give Saya any form of directive or instructions. Just 'you start here, get to the other side as fast as you can. If you do, I'll go ahead and declare you a proper ninja!" Of course, that was against the rules. To officially graduate from the Academy, the obstacle field was just one of the myriad of tests that were used to challenge the students. There were also written tests, and performance of jutsus, and so on. But it didn't matter, there was no chance that Saya could possibly get through this monstrosity! To be honest, the instructor wasn't sure that even he could get through it. There were hidden traps, pressure-sensitive spots hidden through, with delayed jutsus performed upon them. That log there, for instance, if Saya so much as touched it, would instantly erupt in flames. "Biter, I'm done!" Yes, that was what the instructor expected to hear, when Saya had finally gotten hurt enough that she surrendered, so she could get taken to a hospital. Funny, even with her staggering level of ineptitude, he would have thought she would have lasted longer than that. Turning back to see what had happened, his jaw dropped. Saya was standing on the opposite side of the obstacle course, without a scratch! "Wha... how... wha... How did you do that?"Saya just grinned, a beautific expression on her face as she revealed the secret to her success. "I went around it, silly! There was all that big stuff in the way, so I just followed along the outside!" The instructor's cry of aggravation filled the air. "That wasn't how you're supposed to do it!" Saya just blinked and tilted her head in confusion. "Why not? You didn't say not to. And now you have to make me a ninja, right?" Her gaze lifted up to the sky, as she undoubtedly imagined herself doing all the stuff that a ninja did. Spin a web any size, capture bad guys just like flies, that sort of thing. Oh well, eventually she'd figure it out. Once the instructor got up from where they had pounded their fist bloody against the ground, they only sighed. There was nothing they could do. Even if it was his job on the line, he had no choice. He had said it, after all, and in effect, he had underestimated Saya, by not being more specific. He was stuck graduating her with virtually no skills and no chance at success. Maybe an early retirement wouldn't be so bad after all? Sighing, he rummaged around in his pockets for what he would need. Rather than make Saya wait for the normal graduation ceremony, he'd just give her what she needed, and send her on her way. Maybe if she left quickly enough, nobody would find out what he had done? Doubtful, but any chance was good enough right now. [572 + 2386 = 2958 out of 2200+ ]

~::Alice Baskerville::~ Alice emerged from the portal and looked around to see what looked like a school. But a school for what? She saw children running about, looking gleefully around and at each other, playing their games of "hide and go ninja" or "tag with a kunai in their back." Alice wondered what kind of world she had just emerged into but decided to continue heading forwards, holding her robotic doll which was also looking around, fascinated by the world that it saw. Why could they not have known about such a world before? No one would really know but who the hell cares? Alice wandered the hallways and corridors, peering into several rooms for people before finding a couple where the teachers were showing off something awesome. They were either creating clones of themselves from literally out of nothing or they disguised themselves within a cloud cover of smoke that appeared out of no where. Alice watched with interest through the window before a voice caught her from behind. It was an adult that looked like he could have ran the school... Maybe he did but that did not stop Alice from almost kicking him, only to find her foot caught by the man and she was thrown about like a rag doll. B-Rabbit tried to help by ramming the man but it was easily knocked away and into a wall, causing it to lose its motor functions a bit. Alice was thrown to the ground before the Head Master asked her what she was doing there, watching class outside instead of being in the class, learning like the rest of the children. Alice was confused, she now knew that the man thought she was a student but what to say to the man? She explained that she did not come from this world but another world beyond a portal and the man actually believed her. Apparently there have been people before her who had come through the portal and had trained here to learn more about this world of shinobi, or ninja's, as he called themselves. Alice cocked her head to the side as B-Rabbit slowly drifted to her side before she picked herself up and dusted the dirt and dust off her skirt. She agreed to join in on the class at the Head Master's expense and entered the room before having to introduce herself after an explanation from the Head. "I... I am Alice Baskerville from Spira, a land not in this world. Pleased to meet you," said Alice with a short bow. The classroom called their hellos but she knew some of the boys were ogling her and some of the girls were interested in her clothes. She did not really enjoy that fact but at least they should not be trying anything at her since she was a bit older than them... Which, may she add, was a bit sad considering that school kids hardly ever have anyone older than them join in on the classes. She sat down at the back of the room, B-Rabbit floating in a corner in the darkness, not wanting to scare the children with it's constant dripping of blood. At least not yet. After the initial tutorial on how to use chakra, Alice could not be any more confused other than to see if she can spend her mana to do all this. She advanced towards the front of the class when she was called and did the proper hand seals although she could not figure out why she would need too and then concentrated on pushing the mana outwards to transform herself into something else. After an embarrassing moment of excruciating humiliation, Alice suddenly disappeared in a cloud of smoke before it clearing and in her place was a copy of B-Rabbit, the blood dripping like honey from a bee hive. The kids started to get nervous around her as now they know what kind of person she was, a dark soul within a cute body... Alice transformed back and went back to her seat before listening to the teacher teach the rest of the students and inform them all of the other techniques that they could learn. The rest of the day pretty much went the same, go to the front of the class, perform the technique, sit back down, and then listen to the teacher. The day passed, she finished her training there and passed with a smile of acknowledgement from the teacher and the Head Master who came to see how she was doing. Alice waved to them as she left and to a lesser extend, flipped off the classmates who ogled at her and at the girls who got jealous at her for nothing. As she left, B-Rabbit hovered behind her, both wondering what kind of world that have just walked into... Word Count Words = 1796 + 807 = 2603 - 2200 = 403

In the dark forests landscaped terrain of the hidden leaf village, Fire country was about to get a lot more lively. The sun in the sky beat down on the village hidden in the leaf very hot and brightly across the land making the temperature humid to be kind. A very short male individual was sitting in the playground on top of the slide. He was looking down at the training grounds the ninjas were practicing on, from water walking to kunai training and then some clone making as well as substitution jutsu and transformation techniques. “Go down already idiot!” A younger impatient academy ninja said behind the short slim figure. “But I'm scared! NEIN!” The small boy replied back to the child then was forcefully pushed down the tall metal slide face first, landing in the sand. The metal slide was used as the German chibi's personal observation post. It looked over 'Hidden Leafs' academy school training ground seeing really what it is like to be a ninja for himself. He wore a tiny Nazi-Germany commander's hat, along with the rest of the full commander uniform but on a much smaller scale. The uniform consisted of a gray overcoat, a black sleeved shirt under the black overcoat, a pair of black leather gloves, a darker shaded leather black belt is wrapped around his dark gray pants, also an eye patch that covered were his eye was missing. On the battlefield in WWII Germans were often referred to as “Field Gray.” It suited him very well because thats all the colors he really wore besides the swastika flag arm patch he had on one of his arm. He lifted his head up with very wet sloppy tears in his eyes and ran away from the playground in a blushing mad rage. “Hmph! Your all so mean to me! Nein!” He ran to the other side of the playground. Clearing the tears out of his eyes with his black leather gloves he holds his wet gloves hands on the warm metal chain link fence looking threw at the taller ninja deciding it was time to change his plans and join the ninja. So with it being decided the little Nazi started to climb over the chain link fence with all his grip he had. Leaving the playground on top of the hill he smiled raising his head over the fence. “Freedom at last!” The short Nazi said as he fought his way up and over the fence. A teacher ninja wondered as he saw the small German boy in the field “Huh, What's a kindergarten student doing over here?” She walks over to him and asks. “Hey kiddo, What's a little kid like you doing here?” The female teacher asked happily to the short boy. “I'm not wittle!” He said quickly getting very defensive, stomping his feet in anger. Any one else who had a sense of kindness like the teacher would 'aww' and 'coo' in his cuteness from the childish lisp and immature action. She smiles wide “ Aww what's your name?” she asks him. “My name...? It's Oxide.” He said crossing his arms and looking away from the female teacher in disgust. Why ask her so many stupid questions. “Thats a strange name, lets get you indoors, it's too hot for kids your age to be outside in this heat, Come on sweetie come with me.” The nice lady teacher said extending her hands out to him. Always interested in being a ninja one day he started to studying their ways. Using things such as his observation tower. It was only just a slide but even so, Oxide loved watching the tall ninja boys and girls train together as he played solder. The boy finally grew the courage as well as nerve to leave his home under the mountains and volcano and go check out what it was all about. Oxide nodded swiftly and grabbed her hand, then was lead inside the school by the teacher. He accepted looking small but was never misjudged as a kindergarten student before. But oh well, he would just shrug it off till he was taught about the code of “The Ninja Way.” Whether he'd honor it or not was a different story. Being lead down the hall ways other students gushed over how cute he looked and holding a teachers hand didn't help the fact he was absolutely adorable looking. Oxide blushed and held his head low hiding his face in a shy form of total embarrassment. “Dun look at me like that...Nein!” He shouted grabbing a hold of his teachers soft hand tighter. The woman showed a bright perfect tooth white smile. “Heh, Arn't you a little to young to be a ninja?” The female teacher asked politely waving her long orange hair behind her back. She turns around before Oxide could answer “Here have some juic- AHH!” Oxide slapped the juice box out of her hand then stomped on the box repetitively. With the juice box spurting everywhere Oxide smiled with joy seeing the juice boxes' content all over the carpet. Raising his German jackboots and clicking their heels together swiftly. Oxide the swiftly gave a death stair to the very frightened teacher that scared her even more. “I hate juice! NEIN!”He smirked and kicked the flattened juice box across the room for good measure then literally started marching off out of the room. He should of acted nicer but oh well. Oxide would thus again learn how to be a ninja another day. He marches out of the hall ways leaving the teacher behind him and opens the front doors of the academy. He runs into the dusty dry dirt roads of Konaha's village and was instantly bombarded by the humid air and hot sun. “It's so hot, that lady was right. Nein.” Oxide could use some water right about now, or even some juice as much as he would hate to admit it. He looks for a shady spot which was a high enough point to look down onto the village's training grounds. Oxide finds a large grassy hill that in fact did see over the training grounds and started to run up it. With his small size and the heat it did slow him down a bit and made him very tired. But his jackboots gave him enough momentum for the long climb. He sat down and rested under the park bench on top of the hill. Oxide reached into the front of his shirt and took out a pair of binoculars and looked over the trees and into the academy training grounds. He was high enough for a clear visual of the school but got bored as the day had just gotten over with and the classes were dismissed. He looks around his landscape near him, noticing a not only a wooden and steel park bench their was a cobble stone wall and another playground. No slide to get a higher look, but swings and a sandbox for the little kids to swing on and also play in. It was very tempting for him to start to go play in so he put his binoculars down and sighed softly shaking his head. Maybe he could just play... just this one time. He got out from under the cold soothing shady comfort that was the park bench back into the sun and to the swing set. A bit frustrated he was very much to short to climb them himself he did not give up. He gripped the black rubber swing seat and pulled himself onto the seat itself. Oxide began to pump his small stubby legs back and forth but it would not budge. He began to shake and turn the swing ropes but it still wouldn't move. He jumps down off of the wooden swing plank in a defeat. He was so frustrated he began to tear up again. Poor little Oxide. Oxide rolls down the hill away playground having a blast. His appearance was very short, at 3 ½ ft tall chibi child actually. And yet he still always enjoyed his new form to its full potential all the time. Mostly because he had no real remembrance of what it was like to be a tall German solder in his paramilitary organization Hitlers' Youth Program. Today he wouldn't be a true ninja as he wanted, but some time in the future that day would come for the chibi Oxide. (1124 X2 = 2825 - 2800 = 25.) Yoshi Coffe Says __________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________ The sun shined widely through the window of Yoshi's window. Turning over he looked over at the time. Widening his eyes he realized that he was late for his training. Getting up quickly, he struggled to put his clothes on, his room was usually a mess anyway. Stuff and clothes scattered everywhere, despite his position as a genin. As his eyes scattered he noticed that the one thing that wasn't the floor was his headband. Walking over to it, he picked it up, shinning the metal in the center of the headband. The cloth was soon wrapping around his head and tied perfectly. With one look in the mirror Coffe felt he was presentable. Before he left, he grabbed his pouches and his swords. strapping them to his waist and the katanta on his back.
Rushing down the wooden stairs he noticed that only his father Akira Coffe was in their downstairs. Rushing off towards the door, Akira spoke up "Son, what are you doing?" to which Yoshi replied "I got to do some training at the academy, those techniques aren't going to learn themselves". Smiling to his father, Aikra looked at his scar nonchalantly then sighed "You know how we feel about your decision son...". Yoshi sighed "I will be safe and honor this village father, you don't have to worry.". His father nodded "Do you want something to eat before you go, you need your strength.". Yoshi beamed a smile at him, picking up a few pieces of fruit. Munching on it quickly he gained the vitamins and energy from the pieces of fruit.
After exiting his house, he walked out of the closed neighborhood to one of the more traveled streets. Heading south down the street he was a few moments away from the academy. Beaming a smile at everyone that passed by, reminding him of who he protecting. After walking a bit faster the closer he got, he slowed down to see a butterfly flutter on a gentle breeze. It was almost like a symbol that he was on the right path. Finally reaching the academy he opened the doors and stepped inside. Upon getting in he sighed then continued on through not seeing anybody he knew. Past the doorway that lead to the training grounds. He stepped outside toward the training field he was overwhelmed to what jutsu to start improving on.
Walking over to a small body of water he closed his eyes tightly trying to focus charka evenly on each feet. Taking a deep breath he took once step toward the edge of the water. Closing his eyes tightly his first step was walking on the pond as if it were a dirt road. The second step started to hover like the other but soon fell in. Slipping his feet and ankles were soon underwater. Sighing he was frustrated, it was a harder kind of jutsu to master. Coffe stepped back out of the water. Wiping the water off his footwear he thought to himself "This is a lot harder than reading the book, but I have to get through it!" With this mantra in his head, Coffe tried the water walking jutsu yet again. It was always his favorite so far to learn, to walk on water is pretty cool, to him at least. With this judgement he pushed his chakra toward his feet as they glowed very slightly with a blue aurora. Taking a another footstep as the remains of the water from the last failure glistened in the sun. After his right foot was on, he placed his left.
He was standing, he actually did it, he was walking on water. Running around the edge of the pond was thrilling. Coffe headed toward the deep end of the pond. Smirking his feet started to glow less vibrantly. Sinking slowly he ran toward the shallow end. Falling into the water, it was now up to his waist up in the sogginess. His face turned slightly red in embarrassment, he had gotten it but it needed more focus than he thought. On the grass Coffe sat down hanging his head in his arms.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 693 Words Henge no Jutsu: 0/300 Bushin no Jutsu: 0/300 Art of Substitution: 0/400 Tree Climbing: 93/600 Water Walking: 600/600

Her name was Lin Kasama of the Gami clan. And today was the first true step towards becoming a Shinobi. She wasn't quite sure if this day would ever come, and the feeling she had now that it was finally here was overwhelming. Excitement, anticipation, fear, and countless emotions were coursing through her, causing her to do nothing more than stand at the base f the monumental building. She considered it to be monumental, since all of the great ninja's be it good or evil started their journey here. They stood in the exact spot that she was standing now. Her gaze shifted from the building down to the patch of earth that she stood on. It was quite a humbling thought. This was the start of her true life. During the adventures she would have times where she missed her family’s restaurant. Serving and entertaining customers. Watching her parents work frantically in the kitchen on a busy Friday night. Her parents.... If someone looked at her lineage they wouldn't have pegged Lin for having any chance of becoming a shinobi. But that would just motivate her more if someone ever said it to her face. She had her goal, and was ready to start her adventure.
With a deep breath she stepped forward, pushing the door open. It was time to train, and train hard. It was the only way she would ever be able to change things in her village. But that was way down the long road ahead of her. She wasn't even adept in simple jutsu's, but that's what the academy was for. Young aspiring ninjas. She walked down the hall and entered training room seven. She opened the door and walked through, seeing a rather.... husky Jounin sitting at the teacher’s desk. He sat at the desk, jotting something down on what looked to be paperwork. He didn't look up when he heard the door open to greet her. He was too busy with the work, and of course munching on a bag of potato chips. It appears he would be instructing her, and any other students that may be joining in on the lessons whenever it was that the teacher thought it was time to start. They weren't starting immediately, so she had some time to kill. She took a seat in the back of the class room, which was surprisingly empty. She expected to see more students, though the school was rather large, and this was one of multiple classrooms. She looked down to her hand, which she had her palm facing up towards the ceiling. A piece of paper slid down her arm towards her hand, and stopped once it was on the center of her palm. She couldn't control chakra to the point of walking on water, or performing advanced jutsus. But she had a natural talent, she was able to use her chakra to form the paper that made up her body to create art. Origami, one of her passions. Without touching the paper, it began to glow. The glowing paper quickly bent and folded, until all that sat in her hand was a small paper butterfly that was perfectly symmetrical. She smiled happily at her now yellow paper butterfly. The wings on the butterfly began to move slowly in her hand. She stared at it proudly, and amazed at her creation. It wouldn’t be long until the class would start, and she would better be able to control her chakra. It was hard to hold in her excitement any longer. She removed her gaze from her paper butterfly and looked up to her jounin teacher. As she stared at the jounin, the paper butterfly returned back to a flat sheet. It quickly bent and folded once more now taking the shape of a crane. She continued to change the shape and form of the paper while she waited.

Yoshi Coffe Says ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After a few moments of self pity, Yoshi move the drops of water still attached to his clothes. The sogginess was a reminder that Jun had a long way to go in his training. Glancing around the room he started to move toward the shaded, heavily forested part of the school's training ground. Going into the forest he noticed nicks, scratches and gouges on the tree's trunks and their respective thicker branches. As the shadows grew over Yoshi's body, the dampness started to become more obvious sending slight shivers throughout his body, as it attempted to raise its core body temperature. Although he had been able to walk on water, trees and walls were a different story.
Closing his eyes slowly, the forest went almost completely quiet in =Yoshi's mind. Letting a breath in and out he came closer to the tree's base. Focusing his chakra towards his feet, they started to glow fainting like before. Resting one of his hands over the scarred tree trunk Moving it along the awkward surface he stepped a few feet back. More charka was needed in order to keep both feet sticking.to the bark. Extending one leg he attached it to the tree. At this point Yoshi was looking very ridden with embarrassment. He had to act quickly, otherwise this might not hold. In quick gesture he flipped his other foot sticking it to the tree. For a second Yoshi believed that he had actually done it. After that time passed he fell flat on his back.
The taste of failure was not a pleasant one for him. Standing up slowly, he rubbed the back of his which got slightly bruised. It wasn't the pain that was making upset, though it certainly wasn't helping. Standing straight up he looked frustrated at the tree, almost mocking him. Yoshi took a few feet back away from the mock of the forest. Pushing one foot behind him and the other forward he charged at the object. Jun ran as fast as he could then kicked both feet toward the base of the tree. He had done it again, he stuck like glue. Smirking he remembered losing concentration would lead to him falling again. This mistake however, repeated its self. This time he fell flat on his face, almost bending his noise. "God damn it..." he muttered to himself
He had decided that he would try the technique one more time before giving up on today. Taking the same distance that he had before, Yoshi got his game face on. Charging at the tree with a bit of war cry he soon found himself attached to the tree. Focusing his chakra he ran up all the way to the top of the tree. Beaming a smile in his success, he still kept his focus. He could see out of the forest towards the academy building and even parts of the leaf village.
Jumping down to a thick branch, Yoshi looked down and slightly across he saw a target riddled with hole and punctures. It was time for him to practice his aim.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Word Count 516 Henge no Jutsu: 0/300 Bushin no Jutsu: 0/300 Art of Substitution: 0/400 Shuriken/ Kunai Target Practice 9/200 Tree Climbing: 600/600 Water Walking: 600/600
