Well, I'm not crew, but it does seem OP. Mainly the way you worded it. "The blade itself is sharp enough, with Raphael's strength in mind, to easily cut through humans almost as if they were nothing more than jelly. It does the same to steel, leaving only the option of magic or high-tier materials to defend against the full-force of the blade" Maybe if you were to null it down a bit, it'd be more acceptable? I mean, if you make it not as powerful as simply a blade, and just keep the whole "the blade even being able to "hear" the enemy," it would be better IMO. Keep in mind that Raphael, in his Night Terror state has like 11 strength. Eleven strength = god tier. Eleven strength would rip through stone like jelly. Now it doesn't sound so bad, eh? : P Well I learn through many failure that if you word it differently, then it would work, and then use that logic in your wording in a fight as you would say. Instead of telling them ahead of time that the sword can cut through steel like jelly, say that it is sharp enough to cut through steel but only with enough strength, or something like that. Hi, it's 2 in the morning and I just woke up. There's magic texts floating around my head telling me I'm a nut. Do you have cookies? I didn't really think I needed to be careful with its wording. D: Plus, if you think about it, my sword being sharp is literally my only damage left. I rely on my sword entirely for all defense and offense. Literally. I can't even have a summon thanks to my bloodline, lol. So yeah. If my blade was just a normal sword, how would I kill anything? I don't care how much perception it'd give me, even if I could hear a bullet from a continent away and dodge it even quicker, it wouldn't matter if I could never kill anything. Well work on the wording of your. I did, well somewhat. Leave out some details, add in other. Do you have any cookies. I remember Jack promised me you'll give me cookies. I like cookies.

satans-plaything >.> every one lots of people want such op things... :/ you have to be good with what you have, and be great at RP. A sword is only as good as the person wielding it :/ The only thing being it isn't OP. o_o And yeah... the entire point of this weapon is that it makes me rely on melee creativity entirely... it makes me rely completely on skill rather than big, damage pumping abilities, lol

I'm the old fashion kind of guy sir, and I'll do no such thing until the third date, if it was a good three dates. Look at my custom, the scarf of Aegis. Sound op, with crazy weakness, and it is very op. Wording make everything better.

I'm the old fashion kind of guy sir, and I'll do no such thing until the third date, if it was a good three dates. Look at my custom, the scarf of Aegis. Incubus Shane If it was destructible then I would lose my bloodline forever and Raphael would only be able to be a human ever again. :/ And no, if I simply dropped it or if it falls from me in some way, as long as it's retrievable I can still get it back, but if it was completely irretrievable, like if it fell into a fire, then it'd regenerate in my hand, yes. And it'd be lame if it was just part of my nightmare form, lol Raph is completely inspired by Claymore in most of his combat aspects, lol. His talent allows him to do things alot like Clare and Riful, and his Night Terror form looks like Isley's awakening. I'm so unoriginal. biggrin That is true, and it would suck if it got destroyed. Okay, I understand now. Must be my tiredness making me unable to comprehend some things. xD But I'd still null down it's strength a tad. I mean, it got denied, so something needs to be changed. :/ And Claymore was epic. I watched the anime of it, but when I heard the manga continued on, and they had changed the anime from the manga, I had to start reading it.

I mean, you have in there that it gains your character +2 for both Strength and speed under set circumstances, she can wake you as you sleep to forewarn you of danger. You really shouldnt have it tied to your BL. if you cut that then you can change its indestructability. that may make it acceptible to the mods. I mean it is a great idea, It is too powerful though. and given that perception, which isnt an actual stat, increases your speed, doesnt really make sense. I mean, what you are talking about is precognition, knowing something will happen before it happens, perception is a different thing entirely

Being denied does not mean anything needs to be changed. Being denied can mean many things, and in this situation, I believe it was denied because May didn't think it through enough. The weaknesses are bigger than they appear, and the strengths are smaller than they appear. @Satans: Wrong. It'd basically be +2 strength maximum. The +1 speed is only for the blade involving the X ability, and the +1 speed while dodging is tied with perception because it allows me to ready my legs before I run, alot like how running jumps are higher than stand-still jumps. And no, they thought it was OP at first, but not so much anymore, they just think I should reword it, really. Also, seeing as how I rely completely on melee due to this blade, having stat boosts tied to it is only expected, or else I'd only be as good as everyone else in melee, while still being unable to use magic, while they can. Would you give up your element and the ability to learn any styles other than greatsword styles (despite being a weaponmaster) for a +1 boost to your strength stat and the ability for your weapon to tell you "yo, someone's going to assassinate you" -- which is probably useless because they'd already have killed him by then? And of course I tied it to my BL, it's my true Nightmare form, which is what signifies that it's my "special" weapon. My "hall of famer" RPCs -- the ones that I really really like -- all have a "special" weapon that I give a name. For Kleine it's Absolute Divination, for Xander it's "The Render", and for Raphael it's Roxanne. PLUS: Have you ever seen a custom weapon break anyways? It being indestructible matters... well, not at all, lol.
