[I lifted my head, simply staring at Scorchpaw. Silly apprentice. I tilted my head to the side, amber eyes softening]
"Scorchpaw. You're gravely injured. Go with Mudnose. Hauntedheart will take care of you. I know you think this is just your fight, but I'm your deputy, and I have to protect you. Don't disobey my orders, Scorchpaw. They're for your own good. Please, go"
[I turned away from her, glaring down at Brokensoul]
"Oh Shadow. You sad excuse for a cat. Just give up. You won't win"
[I increased the pressure on his neck, my teeth bared]
"Leave Brokensoul alone"

[Mudnose felt her heart almost stop as Foxfur lifted his paw up. Dear StarClan, is he going to try to kill me too?! she thought scaredly. When he froze, she saw it in his eyes. He had realized what he was doing. She still didn't move though. She was scared. For the first time in her life, she was scared. She trembled slightly, before something came over her. She flew out of the den in a flurry, almost exploding into Lavenderstar's den. She shook slightly, and her words exploded out of her in a flurry she could barely comprehend.] "Lavenderstar, Foxfur's trying to kill Brokensoul and Scorchpaw's hurt and I can't get him under control!" [She half screeched in a panic. She couldn't get him out of her head. His image. It played in her head, over and over again. She looked up at Lavenderstar.] "I think he's delusional. "...Fine." [Nightclaw growled, still glaring at Shadow. He then walked to Scorchpaw's side and examined the wound. It looked very bad.] "Come Scorchpaw. We need to get that wound treated."

xxxxxxxxxxThe silent and misunderstood warrior of NightClan. [I thought for a moment. Perhaps meeting here would be best. It would keep everything organized at least. I smiled slightly and extended oe claw, tapping the ground twice. I nodded, hoping she would understand. SHe should. She was smart.
A scent made me pause, and a small smile crossed my muzzle. I could scent mouse.....or was it a lizard? Without hesitation, I went off, moving as fluidly as water itself. The scent grew stronger with every pawstep. A flash of green told me that it was close. I stopped, my eyes quickly detecting where it was. The lizard froze as I moved in for the kill. I stopped too. It could sense something.
With one bound, I landed on it, quickly snapping its small neck. I smiled, burying it where it was.] Nightshadow "Nice catch Swansong" I meowled then sniffed the air and smelt mouse and then saw it nibbling on a small seed, stalked it then killing it with a quick snap to the neck

 The dark thought of ones mind... ☾Shadow☾ +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ [Shadow's yellow eyes burned with rage. He let out a laugh, smelling the fear-scent on Mudnose. He let out a wide grin and meowed.] "Silly Foxfur....as long as I'm in control, I will kill you!" [Shadow kicked Foxfur's back legs and got up, limping on one side because of the bite to his shoulder. Shadow knew Brokensoul was unconcious in darkness and was going to keep it that way. He looked at Scorchpaw, then to Mudnose.] Foxfur is in love with Mudnose... [Shadow thought darkly and bared his teeth at Foxfur. Before Foxfur could react he jumped onto Mudnose, and put a claw on her neck. Shadow yowled.] "If you keep this up, this she-cat will die before your very eyes!" [Shadow made sure Mudnose couldn't try and attack and turned to Scorchpaw.] "You are as pathetic as I thought, still trying to fight even when I bite your neck...I should of been more quick with you!" [Shadow eyed Foxfur, his yellow eyes full of fury.] "I won't kill her...if you come to me, and let me kill you! And if any of you try to get in my way...you will all suffer the same price!" [Before I knew what was happening, I was on the ground and Brokensoul was threatening to kill Mudnose. Mudnose. He's threatening to kill my Mudnose. I couldn't let that happen. She was the only one who understood me. I had blew it, I know. She was probably scared of me, but she was still Mudnose. She was still mine to protect. Limping towards Brokensoul, I bowed my head, gazing at the ground]
"Please Shadow. Just let her go. Please!" I begged, "Just spare her! She didn't do anything! I'll let you kill me!"
[Without warning, I sprang at him and knocked him off the she-cat I loved]
"As long as I take you with me!"
[I pinned Brokensoul down, putting as much pressure as I could on his neck without killing him]
"It's over, Shadow"

[Lavenderstar watched as Foxfur ran off, her ears twitching. What's he up to...?
However, she leaned back and stared at the ceiling of her den. There was work to be done, yes! She was figuring out who would go to who...yes. It was all falling into place! She had had plenty of time to watch her clanmates, and knew their relationships with one another. Hopefully I can start the ceremonies soon, she thought to herself. Now, just so I don't forget, who goes to who again...
Lost in thought, the leader jumped back when Mudnose ran in. She listened with perked ears and then gasped.]
"Shadow?" the leader asked in a half-whisper.
[She was up in an instant. A commanding look fell over her and she walked briskly up to Mudnose, brushing her tail comfortingly across the cat's pelt.]
"Don't worry, Mudpelt, everything will be fine," she promised strongly, her voice dropped into a deeper, more commanding tone.
[She dashed out of the den and into the apprentice's den. She strode up to Foxfur, who was pinning Brokensoul-or, Shadow- down.]
"Stay down, Shadow!" she hissed. "You need to stop acting a fool and get your priorities straight. What in the name of StarClan do you intend to do in Brokensoul's body, anyway? Wreak havoc? Well I've had ENOUGH of that!"
[She forced her face into Shadow's, her purple eyes ablaze with rage.]
"Do you HEAR ME?" she roared. "ENOUGH! You will gain nothing but hatred and death from whatever the heck you think you'll be accomplishing. The world already has enough evildoers and it surely doesn't need another one, especially a low-rate vagabond who doesn't have his own body to control!"
She hissed into Shadow's face, "Brokensoul, can you hear me? We're never going to abandon you! I know you can control this! Just try, Brokensoul, try!"

[I released Brokensoul and took a step back as Lavenderstar stepped in. She'll take care of things, There were other warriors around, but I took no notice. I padded over to Mudnose and looked at her for a few seconds, just standing there and looking at her like an idiot. Then, everything hit me all at once and I pressed up against her, wrapping my ginger tail around her, pulling the she-cat close. I was shaking uncontrollably, all the events of the past few moons just hitting me. The whole Shadow/Brokensoul ordeal just sent me over the edge]
"Oh Mudnose! I'm sorry. I didn't mean..I would never..You...I... I really.."
[This wasn't working. So I shut my mouth and tried to get my shaking under control. I braced myself for her reaction, I mean, the worse she could do was break my heart, right?.....Right?]

[Mudnose felt anger seethe through her as Lavenderstar left, but not because she left. Foxfur almost ttacked her! She shook at the mere thought of it. It was all frightening to her. What would have happened if he had attacked her?
The siamese she-cat felt her ears flatten as Foxfur came in the den. She stepped back a step but let him embrace her almost reluctantly. She felt sadness fill her. She frowned. Why was she letting this happen? This cat...this almost devilishly handsome cat had almost attacked her! She didn't move though. She could, she wished she would; but she didn't. She didn't. She couldn't bring herself to be that cruel.
She sighed, letting him stay beside her longer. Her frown softened, and she rested her chin on the deputy's shoulder. She felt something inside her tremble as she did. Something in her chest fluttered, making her sigh. She closed her eyes.] "Foxfur, calm down. It's okay. I know you wouldn't, you just scared me, that's all," [she whispered, a sad smile on her muzzle. She couldn't stay mad at him. Every instinct inside her screamed in protest though. No! He almost attacked you! Don't reassure him! He could have killed you! every instinct inside her body yowled at her.
She shook her head inwardly. But he didn't. It's fine. I overreacted! It's my fault! [I managed to stop trembling, my ears flat against my head. I heard Mudnose's words, but didn't believe her. I could tell she was lying. I focused on the way this felt, this perfect moment, focused on it until it was ingrained in my brain forever, and took a step back, looking down at the she-cat, feeling empty. I could've killed her. She could've been dead right now. You ruined everything. There was only one thing I could do]
"I'm sorry, Mudnose" I whispered, "But you don't have to worry, I won't hurt you anymore"
[I leaned forward and gently brushed my muzzle against hers, then squared my shoulders and turned away, heading out of the den. No one but Mudnose could've heard the words I just said inside of Lavenderstar's den, but I'm pretty sure every single warrior could hear my heart spilt in two. I dug my claws into the frozen ground, hating the world. But I had a Clan to protect, so I lifted my head and padded towards Brokensoul and Lavenderstar, saying nothing]

[Brokensoul's eyes were glazed, his thoughts a blur.] I'll be stuck in this dark pit forever...I'll never be- [Brokensoul stopped when he heard Lavenderstar's words. His heart swelled.] She cares about me...after what I, no what Shadow did! [Brokensoul gritted his teeth and yowled.] Stay away from my clan leader! [And with that Brokensoul tried to control his body, already feeling his paws. Shadow hissed and began to writhe around on the ground, feeling that he was losing control. Shadow smiled and looked up at Lavenderstar and Foxfur, his eyes begining to glaze.] "So you took control Brokensoul...heh, I'll have to be more careful about you! But next time...next time...you...will...pay..." [Shadow fell unconcious leaving Brokensoul in control of his own body. He heaved a sigh of relief and looked at Lavenderstar, sorrow in his gaze.] "L-Lavenderstar...I'm sorry..." [Brokensoul managed to say. He looked at Foxfur and then down at his paws. [The pretty siamese felt some part of her inside groan in protest as the ginger colored tom stepped back. She looked at her own paws, not wanting to look him in the eye, so she stared at his paws. His words confused her. By the time she looked up, before the she-cat could ask him to repeat it, he was gone though. She shook slightly. Why had he left?
As if that thought was the key to the puzzle, everything fell into place. But she couldn't react. She didn't know how to. She knew that something was missing in this situation. Pain. She shook. Of course, she couldn't feel pain, so it would be missing.
Her throat felt funny, as if she needed a drink. She didn't move though. Her feet were stuck to the ground, as if she was standing in a bog. She trembled, trying to keep herself standing, but she couldn't stop herself from crumpling to the ground. She let out a small, choked, scraggly sounding squeak of a cry and rested her chin on her paws. Deep inside, despite the seriousness of the situation, she couldn't help but let out a choked laugh. Although he meant to not hurt her anymore, this would have probably been the worst thing to do if she could feel the pain in her chest. Her heart ripping itself apart.]

"Yeeeahh... See yuh." [I said, unimpressed. I watched Purepaw walk away. 'Probably knew she was unmatched with my important skills and didn't want to be shown up. Hah!' I thought smugly. Turning my attention away from the probably totally demoralized apprentice, I stalked forward. By now, I was totally pumped. Sure... I had just met the 'ghost' of my father, but knowing I had probably just demoralized an apprentice just felt... So Accomplishing! I had a purpose. I looked from side to side, and sliced my tail through the air. I didn't know what my purpose was yet. But it was an ultra important one.]
[It HAD to be an ultra important one. Because after all. I knew what I wanted. And I wanted an ultra important purpose. YEAH.] "Totally." [I agreed with myself!]
Ducky
"I um. Just like that word! Yeah!" [Ducky squeaked, jumping up as Marcy sprang at her.] "You know." [She said, trying to make it sound obvious.] "Quah. Quahter. Qying." [Ducky explained quickly. Setting her paws down like a cat barricade, Ducky held her ground as Marcy charged her. Continuing the question.] "It's like the most jump-a-duck word out there you know?" [She grinned, and put a determined smirk on her miny muzzle.] "Mother Duck named me that. She said it fit." [She shrugged, grinning.]
