Cobra_X Interest In Your Insides alright, So if i use something like suguni Ouda, I post the whole jutsu, then RP the effects, and leave the rest up to them.
...this is how I would write up a Genjutsu post. I've essentially told everyone what WOULD happen if everything went to plan without actually auto-hitting the opponent in anyway. It would then be the opponent's job to properly respond to the post and decide whether or not the Genjutsu was a success, and whether or not my attack struck him afterward.
Some people like to post the actual jutsu description at the end of the post as well, but I feel that I have described it perfectly well given the technique, and the user can go and check out the genjutsu description in the jutsu subforum if they want.---------------------------------- Cobra_X  Konaga ShinjiIwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin Shinji was growing tired of this drawn out battle. His opponent kept keeping himself far out of the range of his sword, and was far too quick to be struck with a simple Taijutsu maneuver, even with his own well developed speed. "Tssschh... Damn Hatake... always so fast. Fine then, if he wants to stay back, so be it." Just barely dodging an attack from his opponent, Shinji was able to spin out of the way, taking only a slight scratch to his arm as he turned around to meet eyes with his opponent, who was watching him intently to dodge Shinji's next strike.
In a shift of tactics however, Shinji locked eyes with the man, forming only a single seal as he whispered his next technique under his breathe... "Suguni Ouda". Instantly, with a loud bang, Shinji would disappear before suddenly appearing once more directly in front of the man... his sword plunged directly into the Hatake's chest. As a sadistic grin crossed Shinji's face, the Hatake would feel a sharp pain, his eyes bulging outward as the sickening sound of metal piercing flesh still lingered in the air, the blood from the wound flowing outward over the blade and onto the ground. It would all be an illusion however as Shinji attempted to move around his foe, circling behind him as he brought his blade up from behind to deliver a killing stroke, hoping that his Genjutsu did the trick, paralyzing his opponent for the split second he needed.

even if it wasn't for me thanks I was wondering how the genjutsu part worked.

For better or for worse, that is how I would Role-play Genjutsu.
...others may do so differently, but I feel that this is a solid way to use it.

His opponent taking advantage of this thrust his blade towards his chest. As Tai closed his eyes realizing that his life was over, he heard a shout that brought both pure bliss and utter despair to him. "LEAVE OUR TAI ALONE!" As his horde of rabid fan girls dragged his opponent kicking and screaming like a little girl to the ground, Tai tried to silently crawl away. Then there was silence, "Hey he's dead, you know what that means right girls? CUDDLE FEST!" It was then that Tai screamed in horror. He screamed for his life, for liberty, and for his virginity.

Cobra_X For better or for worse, that is how I would Role-play Genjutsu.
...others may do so differently, but I feel that this is a solid way to use it. i'll probably do it in a similiar manner but also add the description at the end just in case.

Cobra_X Interest In Your Insides well i've been dying to use the arena to see how the chakra system works before I get into a real fight with my character, and make a rookie mistake xD
As a Genin, you would have 25 chakra points.
...your Medium chakra stat, gives you +3/10 bonus (+7 points).
So, your character's total chakra reserves = 32 pts.
E-rank Jutsu cost 2 points
D-rank Jutsu cost 3 points
C-rank Jutsu cost 5 points
B-rank Jutsu cost 7 points
A-rank Jutsu cost 9 points
So, using simple math, if you use 2 jutsu in a post, one Genin technique and one Academy, that's 2+3 = 5 chakra point cost.
...you then subtract that from your total. So, at the end of the post, you would have 27/32 chakra points left.If you have chakra control its even better lol d rank and higher costs 1 rank lower ^^ basicly
