The first of many tears finally fell, as Devilboy spoke. Jasie held on to him, clinging is more like it. She felt like all they had and this very moment, would slip through her fingers and disappear. But she still held on, only hoping if she awoke from this nightmare. He'll still be right here, right here and holding onto her.
She felt his grip tighten and kisses being caressed onto her neck. Even though it was comforting her to come extent, the worry of losing him was far much more painful and worrisome.
“I thought the same thing, when the door was broken into. I knew Ethan did it and I clung on to hope, hope that everything would be alright-- that my family was safe. I thought everything will be ok, it'll be ok." she said the last as if she was trying to convince herself of it, “But everything-- everything turned out differently." She finished with an unemotional tone of voice, that was so cold and so far from her own.

He wipped away Jasie's tear."Jasie,everythng is going to be ok.You won't loose me and I won't loose you.As long as I'm with you,your safe from any harm that may come."He said trying to comfort her and take away some of her pain.He knew Jasie was worried about loosing him but she had nothing to worry about as he is far from dead.He was more conceared about not being able to keep his promises and keeping Jasie safe.He couldn't stand to loose her.

Jasie hardly felt Db wiping her tears away. She had no idea, she was even crying. All she felt was this sadness overwhelm her, and the warmth and heat at her back, along with arms around her. Those were the only things that kept her grounded, from loosing control. Jasie finally exhaled slowly, and she turned in Db's arms to face him, or bury her face into his chest to let go and cry. She looked into his dark brown eyes, and saw her reflection within them. She buried her face into his shirt, a soft cry escaped her lips. "I'm a monster-- I look horrible." she said with a light laugh, seeing her mascara running, puffy eyes and sadness within.
She finally risked looking up at him. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be acting like this, it's just-- I finally realized I love you, enormously, and I'll be the one who get's to see you out-live your life-- and see you die." she said the last in a soft whisper.

As she turmned towards him held her,doing what he could to comfort her."Your not a monster,Jasie."He said lightly caressing her face."Its ok Jasie,I don't mind how you act.I just love being with you."He said responding to the first of what she said but paused for a second to respond to the second part."Jasie...the only thing that would kill me is loosing you.Nor the Vatican,the hunters or even Tokeru will take my life.None of them can do that,loosing you would kill me on the inside,which is nothing none of them can do."

Jasie laughed weakly at Db’s comment, of her not being a monster. “Technically I am-- but image wise, hell yes… !” she said with a laugh, touching and smearing the smudges of mascara under and on her cheek. Jasie smiled, “I love spending time with you too D, I guess I just hate it when you go.”
Jasie listened considerately, and very carefully, to his last response. Taking in everything he said. “Losing you would kill me too Devilboy, so much so that I’ve felt as if I’m human again and having feels as if I’m one. But that doesn’t make sense, cuz I am not one anymore.”

"It all depends whos looking at you."He said sweetly looking into her eyes,whipping away some of the mascara that smudged."Same here Jasie.I don't like leaving you."He said holding her snuggly in his arms."I don't ever want to lose you Jasie.I couldn'd stand to lose a second person to death.You may be a vampire but you still have your emotions Jasie."

Jasie melted inside and cooed, at Db's sweet words.
“Cooed...? Can you believe it." Jasie thought and scoffed at herself mentally. Db got her full attention as he buttered her up with words and wiped at her mascara. Jasie's only response was blushing a bit and wrapping her arms around his neck in a hug.
“Your so sweet D-- I totally don't deserve you." she said and kissed him on the cheek and neck. “And-- I can't stand losing anymore loved ones, to death, too." she said sadly, yet cuddled up closer to him and in his arms. "I can't lose you..." she said out loud, to herself.

"Why do you say that?"He asked as she kissed him."Jasie,how many times do I have to tell you...you won't lose me,ever."He said to her as he continued to hold her close to him,never wanting to let go.Enjoying every moment he got to spend with her.

Jasie wanted to tell him why she said that, but she ended up saying some meaningless reply. "Just because..." Jasie smiled weakly, and she didn't even comment on her ever losing him. She knew the truth, one day she really would. But she held on to his arms around her and smiled cherishing the time she had with him.

Jasie started to panic, not knowing what to say, she blurted out something pertainning to the usage of duck-tape and rope. "Yeah, yeah-- that's right. I'll torture you!" she said seriously, but it came out in a joking tone.
