Even with the blade inbedded in his body he shook his head and laughed at him. "No, I have met far too many of your kind." Rising to his feet the blade snapped where it pierced his body and the wound began to knit itself. "Fool as you are, you speak of how special and you are the only one such as you. Ha! I laugh at your childish display." It was simple, so simple for his hand that had breathed fire to twist and warp once more and rake the one behind him with fierce savagry.

"I know a fool when I see one. And I know you for one to have to shout commands for your magic to work." As the words ended a low chuckle rose into a fit of giggles before it became a torrent of laughter. "Such a fool you are. My soul was bannished from this body when I displeased my master." The substance spread but could find no grasp and puddled to the ground.

The mist which had shrouded him earlier rose up in a coiling spirawl, twirling and cascading from the twin crimson orbs. The heat which was porduced was bled from the air and not a flame came to touch Vercellius as Ithaqua the Wind Walker absorbed the heat and grew in size. "Idiot." Vercellius shook his head in disproval and leapt into the air and was born aloft by Ithaqua and as the man spun he came down amongst the eye of the storm. Landing feet first he crashed a boot into the man's temple.

"Such a fool, you like to impress the eye but have no taste for supporting it with skill. Spin all you like your defenses will be breached. You know nothing of fighting." With pitty mixed with glee he drew his other knife and presented his right flank to the man. Holding his right blade parallel to the ground he had it ready to sweap out in a slash while his left was held closed to his body and ready to spring out in a thrust. Placing his weight upon his back foot he crouched to lower his center of gravity.

Thrown back he closed his eyes and searched for the angles. There it was, grabbing hold of it with his mind he was no longer flaying away but towards the vampire from behind him. With skills honed from countless years he twisted his right hand about the man's neck and let the blade lie flat while the left swept in and dug into his spinal collum.

The field pushed him back but then the shoggoth howled it's delight. A multitude of mouths and beaks twisted and mutated along Vercellius' body as eyes squirmed and grew from nothingness. "Witness the power of Chaos!" The voice of the man spoke as the voices rose in a cresendo of daemonic power. The field was weak and was weaking by the moment, at that time Ithaqua took it upon himself as Vercellius let go of the man to tangle a coil about the vampire's leg and hurl him down into the ground.

Bored as he was he put his knives away and idely sat in a tree. Watching the sad spectacle beneath him. Tilting his head back he sighed as he listened to the howling of daemons, the fluttiner of reed pipes reminding him of the court of Azathoth.

"Less then worthless." Rising from his spot he shook his head and was gone. This was a knew land to him, sure enough there would be others he could attack and kill; or maybe he could turn back and kill the man who was a waste of breath. Perching himself at the top of a tree he let himself be moved by the slow rocking motion and listened to the songs that carried upon the solar winds.
