Wriph sighed. He turned down the corridor and passed by the clerk and busboy without saying a word. They were ugly, and smelled just as bad. Wriph tempted to hold his nose as he passed by them, but he had more manners then that. He opened the door to the front and smelled the air. It still stank slightly, but at least it was fresher than in there. Wriph's giant bladed ring was slung over his shoulder as he walked out. He peered around at the small stores, nothing amusing, and Wriph was too lazy to put on a show. He had to go to the rich area to do it, and he always hated the way people strut their wealth around like some kind of peacock. He turned face to two women, obviously older than him, but the blackhaired girl seemed way to childish for her age. But the pink one caught his eye. After all, what stands out more then pink in a black and grey neighborhood.

Yuffie ran on slightly ahead of Aerith, She was only in a rush to see something that was said to only happen every once and a while. Sometimes years. But at the rate the ever so gracefull cetra walked, she was doubting the fact that they'd even get close to it. As she stopped, Yuffie spun around on her heel, pouting softly as she danced around impaciently. "Hurry hurry hurry!"
Aerith just giggled, resting a hand over her mouth as she did.The sidewalks were quite full of random people in the area, most doing there shopping, or just simply out to get some freash air. As much as one could in this city.As she glanced from person to person, Aerith came to a sudden stop.Her emerald green eyes comeing to rest upon a young boy standing in the mids of the crowed.She didn't say a word, though she looked from his large weapon that seemed to be strapped at the young boys side.He did look to young to be fighting.But it wasn't quite that, that got her attention so suddenly, it was the feeling she had felt comeing from him.Whatever it was, it seemed..familour in some way. Finally, the women seemed to even forget that Yuffie was waiting, as she took a few slow steps toward him.Maybe if she spoke to him, she could find out about him. "..Hello there...You look a little lost! Would you like some help?"

Wriph would raise an eyebrow at the pink lady. Wriph learned that people normally don't come up and talk to you randomly. But this woman... strangley alluring, yet weird. Wriph's mouth curved into a smile. "Nah, I ain't lost, just kind of confused." Wriph was telling the truth, The aura that was impulsing out of this woman was strange. Like something greater than most of the people around the street. Wriph tilted his head slightly, "You normally don't see ladies like yourself around here. But..." the boy peered at the hyper girl, "I guess this is an exception." She seemed... familar... why? "Name's Wriph. What's yours?" He held out his hand.

In time, If the boy did stick around long, He would learn that most people really didn't come and talk to a stranger randomly, All but maybe this one paticular women. Her gentle heart had her going to just about everyone she thought needed help, or was lost. Even just to have a simple humanly conversation.Aerith smiled softly at the young boy, she was glad he didn't run away frightend, but then again, that never happend with any children. Everyone was useally drawn to her. "Oh, What are you confused about?" She blinked those deep emerald orbs, while watching him ceriously. "Oh..."Laughing quietly, Well. There was a suprise everywhere wasn't there? For just a moment, she turned to Yuffie, motioning for her to come over, before she would take the boys hand into a gentle greeting. "Wriph? It's wonderfull to meet you. I'm Aerith Gainsborough. This here.." She pointed into Yuffies direction as the ninja apprached. "Is Yuffie Kisaragi."
Yuffie grinned. She had to ignore the star, suppose it wasn't to important. If Aerth wanted to talk then she would stick along side her. "Nice to meet'cha!" Waveing in greeting, the young girl stood a few feet beside her friend as she had looked into the boys direction.He was surely new to her, seeing as both of them had never seen him before.

Wriph scratched his head, he didn't even hear what the little girl said about the other one. 'Aerith... why was that familiar?' Wriph peered into the girl's emerald eyes with his blue. Like seeing a whirlpool in her eyes, for a flash, a vision of what looked like an older version of her, bathed in a white light. Wriph's eyebrow's turned to a frown, as he shook his head lightly. At least he remembered where he heard her name from. "Oh... You're Aerith? The Cetra right?" Wriph tilted his head for confirmation. His voice was calm, not afaird to speak the word.

Both Aerith and Yuffie glanced at eatch other questioningly, then back to the young one. No one knew who Aerith truely was, only her dear friends had known.So it was a mystry to her, how this child knew of who she truely was.After a few moments, she had nodded in agreement to his question.She had no reason to fear,he was just a kid, after all. "Yes..How is it you know this information? Only very few people know who I am."

Wriph smiled and chuckled lightly, "Hear it from Hojo." Wriph said plainly. "Strange guy, but he seemed to be quite interested in your kind. Something about you and a Jenova, or something like that." Wriph rolled his eyes to invert a thought, as he shrugged his shoulder. The large weapon dangled slightly, as light reflected of the polished metal. "Speaking about Jenova... That's my last name, I believe... Wriph Jenova... Yeah."

Aerith blinked. Now she was glad she had stopped and spoken with him. What did he have to do with Hojo? She had a feeling she may not want to have known. She might have had to get in contact with Sephiroth, for one.Though she doubted even he knew of this kid."If you don't mind my asking......How..Or rather, Why were you in contact with Hojo? He's a horrible man. He had done terrible things." She didn't even want to think of him,or the things the creep wanted to do two years ago.Aerith was getting more confused about the situation then anything,upon hearing what his last name was. "..I don't quite understand..Your last name, is Jenova? Who is your father?"

"Contact? No, no, no, never met the guy. Just heard his records and files and whatnot. He kept alot of them around for references you know. Stuff like expriments, Jenova whatnots, and stuff like that. Strange dude really, I think he needed a better hobby from the way he sounded." Wriph laughed as he combed a hand through his blond hair. He looked at the girl with a playful smile, "Personally, I don't know who my real father is, just know I came from a tube, and something about having Jenova's cells in me. Or something..." Wriph adverted his gaze and looked at the musty sky. "I pretty sure that Jenova isn't my last name... But I took it anyway because I thought it sounded nice."

Aerith smiled slightly.As confuseing as this was, she tryed to keep from looking as confused as she truely was.Shakeing her head, the women nodded. "Yes, He really was a strange man. In a frightening way." Aerith glanced away, Looking at the silent Yuffie. She could only guess what thoughts were going on in the ninjas head, by know she was driving herself crazy trying to peice it all together. "Wriph, If you would like. I know this may sound strange comeing from a complete stranger, but I am assumeing you don't have any place to live? If so, You are welcome to stay at Avalanche mansion. There is plenty of room. There, we might be able to find out more about your past. Im sure you would like to know as well?" Aerith paused for a moment. "As for your last name, Are you sure you want that to be the last name? It might cause troubles down the long run for you."

Wriph smiled, "Strange request indeed... But... there's got to be food! And who'd pass up free food?" Wriph gave a friendly smile and wink. His hand traced the inner circle of his weapon. 'Avalanche huh? heard alot of things about them... Maybe I'll get to fight them someday if I go along... Besides, it's free food!' Wriph smiled at himself. "Alright!, and don't mind my last name if it causes attention. Oathbreaker never failed me before." Wriph refered to the giant ring on his back.

She almost broke out into a gentle laughter at the boys sudden energetic appearence for the mention of food.As calmed herself, the smile was still there."Oh, Of course! As much as you would like." He was a cute kid, dispite the massive weapon at his back.He reminded her somewhat of Yuffie, when she was young and always looking for a fight. Sadly, that never had changed at all in the girl. "I think there would be a few that may be interested in trainning with you, if that is what you like to do." Aerith glanced once again at the large ring at his back. "Do you fight offten? You look a little young to be carrieing such a weapon around, I don't mean to be rude!"
"Oh, come on Aerith! He wants to be a good fighter, and he's starting out early, like I did! I never seen you have any problems when you first met me." Yuffie paused, frowning. "Heyyy. You care more for someone you just met then you did when you first met me!" Yuffie had said that so quickly, if Aerith cought all of that it would be a merical itself.
Aerith blinked, glancieng back at Wriph, giggleing softly. "Well, He didn't come out and attack like you did. I think that earns him a good point!" Aerith had finally turned, gestureing for the young boy to follow as she begain to walk along the pathway. "Okay, I suppose we should head of to the mansion. I'll show you to a room you can have, and show you to the kitchen afterwords!"

"Booya!" Wriph cheered with a round of laughter. He couldn't wait. Free food... and training. Secretly, he wanted more the fights than the food. Inwardly, he smirked. But he was concenterating enough to give a laugh at the ninja girl and her little speech. "Well! shall we be off?" Wriph smiled as he patted his weapon and looked down at some of the flowers the girl had. Wriph reached in his pocket, and dropped 5 gil into the girl's hand, and plucked a purple flower from the bunch. "I'll buy this." He said with a smile.

Aerith had started to get a little more comfortable around the younger boy. His cheerfull nature was enough to calm anyone that may of been worryed, or nervous about something.Instead now she was back to that cheerfullself of hers."Yes, Lets go!" But the moment she had finished her words, she felt small cold metal peices being dropped into her hand, closeing it around them, she brought the palm of her hand up to glance at what was placed there. 5 Gil. She then looked to the boy holding a flower that he took from her basket. "Oh, Thank you. But there only 1 Gil eatch." She smiled slightly, handing the 4 Gil back to him, he needed it more then her. Actually, He needed it a lot more. So instead of giving him just the 4 back, she handed it all back. "But this time, you get this one for free!"
