...okay so sometimes context doesn't help. XD
"Jidai no" still comes out to "the era's" basically. "Mirai wa" is "the future will." I think the singer is speaking in general terms rather than a specific era or someone's future.

It's not just today, Hanae. I know all too many hypocrites that constantly complain and such every day, and I hate it because they're my friends and I want to tell them off for being so... Unobservant. XP

 Shizzle... I started working on a guide and I could have sworn it was about 9pm... it's almost midnight now... @-@
Ah well, at least I'm done.
*sigh*
Have to wait until I'm 18 to get my permit, and I'm too lazy to do the classes... I could get it thise spring, but I'll procrastinate. I can always ask parents/boyfriend to drive me ^^

I was trying to get my permit, but no one would drive me to the DMV. I kept asking mom and she kept saying "next week"...
Finally dad retired from work and took me after school today. Took me less than half an hour to get all the forms filled out and do the written test.
Oy, as long as were asking Meriko to translate, I have a request.
Meri, can you please tell me how to write "Emerald Chronicles" In katakana? It's the name of my original story, and I was thinking of making a fake anime intro for it in flash, and since the song I chose is Japanese I thought i'd make it look authentic with a Japanese logo and the time in the corner.

You don't need to take a class to get a permit in New York. You need to take a class to get your LICENCE after you get a permit.
Basically, you just get the (thin) how-to-drive book or read the online version, then you fill out the forms, get your eye test and your picture taken, and then do a short quiz where you have to get 14 out of 20 questions right to pass. It was mostly common sense, and easy to ace if you studied the book.
Then with your permit, you have permission to practice driving on most public roads.

In Rhode Island, you've first got to be 15 years and 10 months to take a Driver's Education class, after which you take a written test. Score high enough and you get your permit. o: Then you've got to do practice driving on your own time, and six months later you can register for a lisence. o.o
