"Okay," Sammy said, "three then." She picked her three, beginning to walk over to the stadium. "Welcome to Aqua," she called back to Kathryn, giving the thumbs-up sign before going to the stadium.

Memo giggled when Cody laughed at his own statement, but was soon serious again realizing the intensity of right now. Memo followed Cody as he took pictures of the hieroglyphics. Memo was intruiged by the symbols and felt the walls they were written on. They had some sort of vibe to them. Memo then walked over back to Cody and watched him work.

Bangira comes up from his lab with a cigarette in his mouth. With a serious look on his face he grabs a coffee from the kitchen. He heads to the computer in the main room and begins typing up very complex equations.

Kai nodded enthusiastically, grinning widely and showing off his pearly white fangs. He squirmed out of Kathryn's grip and attempted to bite Sammy's hand, only to miss and go flying halfway across the room.
Kathryn sweatdropped as she watched the totodile, who was gazing at them upside down, having hit the couch. He didn't appear injured; merely dazed, which was good, since he probably wouldn't attempt that maneuver again. She turned to Brian, nodding as she heard him speak. "Thanks," she said in a friendly tone. It seemed everyone here was pretty nice, for which she was glad.
Hearing Sammy speak again Kathryn turned, watching Sammy walk off. She, of course, had no idea that there was going to be a battle, and was somewhat confused. Perhaps Sammy was just leaving. Shrugging slightly, she instead chose to take a seat on the couch.

Cody set his backpack down softly, bringing out a notepad and a pen. He started to jot down some notes and copy some of the symbols when his eyes closed and shot open again, emitting a bright blue glow. "Who dares disturb the resting place of the Being of Knowledge?" a voice boomed from deep in Cody's throat. He no longer had control of his body. Uxie had completely taken over.

Bangira, so deep in his work, hadn't noticed the Squirtle at all. He sips his coffee, puts his smoke out in an ashtray at the computer and continues to type furiously. He pauses once and awhile to review what he typed.

Squirt jumped on the couch, sitting beside Kathryn. He didn't really know who she was, but she still waved to her. Hearing the news (knowing Sammy would want someone to do this) he jumped up and down on the couch as if it was a trampoline. "Squirtle squirt! (Congratulations!)" He called.

Memo jumped backwards. Memo was shocked, stunned, surprised, scared and much more but he rememberd Cody's words. Memo stayed emotionless.
"I am Memo Hanabari, I and my friend come from Team Aqua. We mean no harm and are only here to learn...Uxie."
While Memo spoke his eyes could not help but let out a glimmer of kindness that Memo always exuded.

Squirt sighed boredly, feeling his face with his paw. Why didn't he have a nose like Sammy? Donner padded in, his arms folded. Couldn't Sammy have evolved him before running off to battle? He felt so tiny, and it was as if he was going through pokemon puberty. He read the auras in the room, seeing that Mr. Bangira was emitting a distracted sort of emotion, the new person was nervous, yet excited, and Squirt was... Dumb.
