The snitch swooped out of her grasp at the last moment and she didn't have time to stop her dive in time so instead of smashing her face into the ground, she dove off of the broom and rolled across the grass in a tuck and roll style she had seen in muggle films when they jumped from those car things. She came out of the roll pretty much unscathed. It hurt her busted knee like hell, but it was a lot better than what could have happened from that nose dive. Her broom bounced across the grass to right next to her and she quickly hobbled back onto it and was back in the air in a few minutes after adjusting herself to not further injure her knee and checking over herself to make sure the roll hadn't left any permanent damages. Finding herself to be pretty much okay besides a few scrapes on her shins, and elbows, and one on her face, she took off into the air, on her search for the snitch once again, obviously having lost it in her antics to save her face.

And there it was! Jaslyn hadn't lost sight of it after all. It'd just moved farther away. She swung into action, chasing it.
