If you can't get drunk, what is the point anyway. Besides, you could always find another bottle couldn't you.
It is an imp after all, and they are just a thorn that is annoying, and what would anoy us any more than turning all the wine into water...

Think about it, what is the worse thing that a negative could feel. Positive. THus, love is the bane of the devils.
Unless you come to terms with emotions as relative to culture, where what love is to a human is not the same as love for a imp. To cause pain to another creates the same pleasurable feeling for an imp, as a mother might have in caring for her child.
