Watari laughed, nodding. "Well, I have a lot more years on M'lord and anyone else. Kyo-kun and I have been friends since we were five. Even with me away, we kept in touch. I guess its true that the longer you know someone the more comfortable you are with them. Of course, I don't let up so easily either."
Kaoru nodded, glancing at his brother. He wanted to be next to him, like they usually where, but instead he remained sitting where he was, not about to provoke him into further anger.

The butler had decided to stay and get a good look at the people Kozue apparently be interacting with, now that he was forcing her to go to school. He could have sat down in a chair, but instead he just leaned on a wall and observed (mostly with amusement and some awkwardness), still cradling Kozue in his arms. It didn't make him uncomfortable at all. In fact..."Ojo-sama is so light...come to think of it, I'm not sure she's been eating a lot lately...that and no sleep...I hope she doesn't get sick."
Kozue mumbled something in her sleep and stirred a little, apparently just begining to wake up.

"Depends on the situation I think..." He replied, keeping his eyes on Watari as he sipped his tea. "You can think you've known a person, basically, your whole life; think you're close to that person... but then it turns out that the person either lied to you or kept secrets that were important. That would change the way you see the person, don't you think?" Hikaru shrugged a shoulder slightly, tipping his head back to finish his tea the setting the cup back down on the table. For Watari, it was just a theoretical question... Hikaru figured he wouldn't read much into it. But for Kaoru...

Kaoru couldn't have taken those words any hard if they had been a weapon to his chest. He flinched from where he was sitting and moved to get up, quietly excusing himself from the little group. Without a word, he headed out of the room, needing to get as far as possible before he lost it.
Watari nodded, watching Kaoru leave. He had a feeling those words meant a lot more to that boy than they did to anyone else in the room. Yet he said nothing to stop Kaoru from leaving. Instead, he kept his eyes on Hikaru. "Well, I suppose. But then, it depends. Was the lie something that could hurt you? Or was the secret kept because they knew it was something that the other couldn't handle. I know it took me a long time to tell Kyo I was bisexual... but he just shrugged it off. After all, it didn't really matter... because that didn't change who I was."

Hikaru also watched Kaoru leave; feeling both glad that his words had been understood but also having a sinking pull in his gut that had actually voiced such a cruel thing to his twin. Yes, Hikaru knew what he'd said was mean and that had been the reason he'd said them. But then Watari was starting to talk again and he listened, eyes widening slightly in surprise. Finally, he smirked. "Touché." He glanced toward the door where Kaoru had left. "But wouldn't secrets and lies make the truth harder to accept the longer they go on? I mean... why not just say what's on your mind?"

Yuki shut his eyes as Hikaru toweled him off, giving him a very quiet yap of thanks to not wake his master up. He sat up and scratched behind his ear, looking around at the others. A flash of a familiar color green caught the corner of his eye; his head swung around to see Kaoru setting down a bottle of the liquid he always saw Alcy drinking at home. If he had been human, he would have smiled. Instead, he stood up and started making snuffling noises into her ear.
After a couple of moments, her eyes shot wide open, as she sprang up, snatching the bottle and hoisting it dramatically above her head. The Zelda "you got an item!" tune played from somewhere unknown: DA-DA-DA-DAAAAAA! After a moment frozen like that, she fell back onto the couch and twisted the bottle open, taking a sip. "... Haaah.... that feels better.... A satisfied smile spread on her face.

Watari looked at the twin before shrugging. "I don't know. Again, it depends on the reason behind it. And if they had ever said anything to the contrary before the truth had been learned."

Kyoko stumbled inside the Host Club awkwardly, looking around for Remi-Chan.
Noticing that she wasn't there, Kyoko turned back around and walked quietly to the door, hoping that no one would notice her.

Damn... How could he counter that? Honestly, Kaoru had never said anything one way or the other so it had been Hikaru's fault for assuming. He inhaled slowly. Even so, Hikaru couldn't bring himself to completely admit that he was at fault; after all, he already felt it was on him for the homo-forbid-love act they'd been putting on for two years. "Threché." He finally replied but before he could make further answer, a familiar voice sounded behind him. Turning, Hikaru smiled slightly. "Recovered Alcy-sen-san?"

Alcy grinned, holding up the bottle of Mountain Dew for a moment. "Seems that way. I'm at least good enough to last another hour with this." She tipped the bottle up as she took another swig. "Thanks for telling me there was Mountain Dew, Yucchan," she mumbled to her dog. The dog gave a happy yip and wagged its tail.

She stopped walking before she reached the door after hearing a familiar voice. She turned around quickly.

Alcy heard her name and leaned her head back, catching sight of an upside-down version of Kyoko. "Ara, Kyoko-san. Uh... Hey." She smiled blandly as she held up a hand in greeting.
((... Oh god where to begin.
............... I can't even describe what's been going on, it's too weird and too much. I'd suggest just having her walk in, completely oblivious to what's been going on in the past several days. But I give bad advice. You guys? What do yo think?))
