Aldarion turned his head sharply at the sound of the door which he too had walked in opened, surprised to see anyone here at all really. even more surprsing was they were female. he hid a quick smile by ordering a drink and delicatly siping it with one of his long hands, fingers positioned lightly around the neck of it so all the weight rested on his first two fingers then on all of them clutching the glass like a drunken oaf. his smile faltered, now taking a proper look he saw the two horns protruding out of her skull and thw ings much like his that extended out of her forest green kimono. She was a demon of sorts by the look of it, though a shy one if he wasn't mistake. He rarely was in his own eyes anyway. They way she hesitated at the door only to sit away from him was a sighn of someone usually not very sure of themself or how people would react to them. Then there was fact she was staring at small lights on a ceiling.
He stood up and appeared at her side like a shadow slipping up from the floor. "It's rather pretty isn't it." he said, voice a slight whisper but so it sounded normal. The lights hardly interested him though in actuall fact, but it was something to say rather then ther numbskulls that might just sit there or say some crude words he daren't ever mention.
EDIT: I have to go but will reply first thing tomorrow, stipid parents stare

Kohaku's eyes widened when she first heard his voice, but calmed down quickly. He didn't seem to be any danger... She looked up at him smiling and nodded silently, but showed a split second of disappointment. More than ever now, she wished she could say something... But she hadn't been able to speak since she was very young. She hoped he wouldn't be offended by her silence. She noticed that he also had wings like her, which seemed to comfort her a little.
( S'okay. I have to get to bed anyways... >>;; I kinda stayed up past the point I planned on going to bed... Dx )

Quickly taking this as a que to sit down Aldarion took the stool next to her on the left. He hadn't noticed her silence yet, taking it instead that she just wasn't in a talking mood or something along those lines. "So does the pretty girl sitting next to me have a name?" he asked, staring at her face before swiftly running his own cold hand down her cheek, looking directly into her eyes, his own seemed to change colours. a blue to green then purple only to finally rest at a gold.

Kohaku blushed when he called her pretty... And at his touch. But when she looked into his eyes, she was astonished at how beautiful they were. Her eyes were simply a light, paleish crystal blue. But his seemed to changed colors. Then, remembering he had asked a question, she reached into the little sash of her kimono and pulled out a small notepad with a little pen that was in the metal spirals. She quickly took out the pen and opened it, scribbling something on it and handing it to him. The paper said Hello! I'm Kohaku. Sorry.. I'm mute... Though, the writing seemed very neat for being written so fast. It was written in cursive with pretty letters that were sophisticated, yet easy to read. Her mother had taught her how to write very early.. And even taught her how to write in cursive at the age of 6.

Aldarion cocked his head to the side some to read the note, thw writing was very beautiful and neat, swirling into each other. If spiders could write he imagined it would be much the same but of the silvery web colour they have. "You shouldn't be sorry for that." He said looking at her face again. "I know women that have been slain because they talk to much to the wrong people.Besides it means you can express yourself in more gracefull and meaningfull ways than anyone else can." His own expression changed to a small smile. It was unlike him to smile so heartedly at anyone really. most of his smiles endedup as smirks or were taken as snide. Of course it wasn't any help that they were meant to be like that. "congratulations miss Kohaku,no one's made me smile like that for a while now." He raised his hand and rested it on her shoulder.

Kohaku smiled back at him softly. She hadn't expected him to take it so well. All at once she was glad to have left the house like she had been a few minutes ago. Then she had realized she didn't know his name. She gently took back the notepad and wrote What's your name? and handed it back to him. He seemed to remind her of someone, but she couldn't figure out who.

Aldarion recovred the from the lapse in arrogant airs quickly. "I'm aldarion, Some people call me Rin or Al for short. I suppose it would take up less space on paper right?" He hadn't mean the last part in a meanway or anything,it had just come out that way. He pulled his cloack toghter around him before offfering her adrink, sliding a menu in her direction.

Kohaku sighed and tried not to pay attention to what he had just said. She had heard much worse, so it didn't affect her too badly. She thought about his name instead. It was a beautiful name, sounding like the name of a prince from one of her brothers books. When he passed her the menu, she shook her head and smiled. She wasn't thirsty, and alcoholic beverages affected her badly.

Al raised and eyebrow, didn't drink? That was a first to him. Then again so was the entire underground, the only woman he had seen around other than kohaku was Madison and he had moved in with her for the moment. He stood and turned as if about to leave but instead he let his entire being slip to the floor like a shadow and into the rest so for at least a minute Kohaku was left alone in the room. Unknown to her the shadw now had moved to just behind her and he let his form re-collect to a solid, wrapping his arms around her and stroking her face sweetly.

Kohaku was more than a little suprised when Al had disappeared into the shadows, but she was more confused than scared. Where she lived, strange things happened daily, so nothing really scared her anymore. She looked to her sides and was puzzled about where he had disappeared to. Then, she felt arms embracing her. Her eyes widened. She had thought he had left her because.. Well, she wasn't the best person to start a conversation with. She wanted to ask him Why? Why are you doing this? Don't you understand that I'm mute? No one wants to be around someone who can't talk... Then again, she wouldn't be saying that if she was able to speak.

Al continued stroking her cheek. "You seem surprised I didn't leave." did she really find him that repulsive that she wanted him to leave? Or was it the kind of the surprised that he had left. He thought the first option was more plausible since no one ever usually wanted him to leave. His fingers seemed to have a will of their own as they gently extracted the first of one of Kohaku's thoughts. he cursed that he couldn't suppress his own emotions, fathers fault of course, damn that morta pair to hell. It was just a good thing the extraction of one''s thoughts was a painless procedure. Kohaku would be unaware it even happened. The thought was a gentle greenish colour that pulsed lightly between his own. he breathed a sigh of relief as he relised the only thing he had taken was a small part of a larger scale thing. 'Why?' The question barely made sense but the feeling from it was of self-doubt. he answered these thoughts as best as he could, piecing together her emotion and thought. "Do you really think I'd leave because I can't hear your voice?you need more confidence, why would sucha a stunning woman not have that?"

He was amazing. That was the only way she could describe it. It was like he read her thoughts like a book. She sighed and started to remember all the things of her past. Everytime she had gone out somewhere... Someone had tried to talk to her... But everytime they ended up either laughing at her or quickly straying away. Her only real friends were her brothers who always seemed to try and comfort her. Then she remembered getting tired of going out and just stayed inside like Fang... Practicing her writing or playing the piano. It may not have been much of a childhood, but at least it kept her from dying inside even more. She frowned as she thought about all of it.

Al withdrew his hand now, scared that it would happen again with out even his knowledge. There was a small silence between the two,not that anyone could blame anyone for that. She still looked sad and he now didn't want to know why so much, not if it meant he wouldn't be able to stay in control, calm. He was getting too close to this girl. Soon he'd be left with his only option of a food source being to Nab random people off the street and if that didn't work he'd probabbly end up biting her neck in blood lust only to regret it the following morning. It sickened him to the core, but he could't just leave her here either. he had already known now that there was...a friendship between them forming and someone in his position in a new realm needed those no matter how powerless, the woman had no power of speech. Not that she could help it of course. there went that side of him that cared, Of course it was true but it didn't mean he had to sympathise or even associate with her from pity, she was..inferior right? Confound it, he should have stayed in the manor. "Do you want to dance" He asked from some part of him, still functioning properly. he had glanced more towards the bar than dance floor. A drink would be nice if it didn't make him so talkative.

Kohaku looked up at him and smiled. She loved dancing. It was just another thing her mother had taught her to do. Though, when she looked into his eyes, she saw worry and concern of some sort. Too bad she couldn't read his mind. Kohaku stood up and grabbed his hand gently, pointing toward the dance floor happily.

Al stood up along with her, strolling towards the floor. It had been so long since he danced alone, but with someone else? "I don't know much music so if there's anything in particular you want to dance too and they have it here you can play it." He gestured towards the record player, there would also be a shuffle button if she was also a little unsure of what to play.
