Bakura laughed, then cut off the mind link. He, of course, was not an idiot, and had already left his apartment before contacting Kira. He blocked his mind so that she would not be able to use her Millennium Eye on him, and closed his eyes.

Kiras vision was just brarly coming back but everything was fuzzy.She justused her memory to find her way back to bakuras appartment.She had only been there twice before to left/hurt bakura fo doing diffrent things that upset her.Once she got inside she noticed the blurry image of ryou on the couch.She quickly hurried over checking his pulse.

Ryou's heart was fluttering madly, pounding in his chest. He was able to open his eyes a little at feeling someone, his eyes a nearly black from how dialated they were. A weak smile formed on his face when he saw it was Kia, then he sighed lightly and closed his eyes.
Vadin growled, forming a mind link with Kira.

Kira bit her lip worriedly.She hated it when vadin was right.She gently scooped up ryou and headed out the door to her appartment.

"It won't be too bad." Khalid said, shrugging as he floated blissfully next to Kira. "But I'm a little surprised that Bakura started this all up so soon. He must be feeling rushed. I'll have to talk with him soon."

Kira sighed softly.Once she got inside she kicked the door closed behind her.The sitter told her rei had fell asleep in ryous room.Kira nodded and went to her room gently laying ryou down on the bed.

Ryou's eyes opened once more, and they flicked over to Kira. The coldness in them, however, showed that Vadin was in control. "Don't you dare let this body die..." He hissed, his eyes narrowing. "I've worked too... too hard... to get..." He trailed off, his eyes slowly closing, then he blinked them open with a sudden shock. "To get here..."

"Im not going to" kira said.She knew it was vadin from the soundof his voice "Just rest.The drugs should wear off in time."

"Would you rather talk to Ryou, let me stay in control, or just mess with an unconscious body?" Vadin asked, not really wanting to stay in the body. He'd rather go back into his soul room and either let Ryou take over the body, or nobody be in charge. Just so long as he didn't have to struggle to be in the body.

Vadin didn't wait to retreat into his soul room, forcing the boy to be in charge. Ryou trembled slightly, shivering from cold that was within his mind, and peered up at Kira. The same small from before curved his lips, and he reached up and patted Kira's hand shakily, without so much as a word.

Kira gently grasped ryous hand fighting back tears "Im so sorry ryou....you shouldent have to go threw this agian" she said.

"He takes away the pain..." Ryou said, with that sleepy smile. He squeezed Kira's hand weakly. "Makes it go away."

"ryou..It could kill you...I...I couldent handle losing you agian" she said.Her head gently rested on his shoulder fighting the tears.She wasent as stable as they all thought she was.

"He used the special kind that killed me before..." Ryou said dully, almost standing up for Bakura. He ran his hand through Kira's hair. "I love you, Kira. I won't leave, okay?"
