Dominic banked into defense. He guarded his chasers as the quaffle was in their possession and whipped around to watch it get stolen. Just then, he noticed the seekers plummeting closer to a glimmer of gold. He reared up at the nearest bludger and cocked his arm back to try and take out Jess.

The snitch was lower than she had expected and so her hand closed on empty air. Still the snitch dropped even lower so it was hovering just above the ground. She took a deep breath then went into a full on vertical dive, praying she could grab the snitch and pull out of it before she crashed into the ground painfully.
