Everything she had done all lead up tp this moment. The only jutsu that Lahlil hadn't bothered to learn yet where her bloodline ones, which she hadn't touched for ages. [1/7] opening the scroll before her Lahlil felt like she was gonna be sick. She hated how her eyes showed her things. Things about herself, and things about others. [2/7] At the very least it didn't seem that these would be mental draining on her so she had that going for her. Following the scrolls instructions, Lahlil sent wave after wave of chakra into her eyes. [3/7] The build up was so immeasurable that she soon didn't feel like she could control it for much longer. She didn't have a choice yet however. The jutsu needed more time before she could release it or it would just provide he same effects as the lesser versions of the jutsu. [4/7] Taking the chakra in her eyes, Lahlil focused and condensed it exactly how she had when she used the rasengan. Picturing the same swirling danger that had accompanied both the water and wind variant. [5/7] At this point the chakra was beginning almost unbearable to hold. The pressure felt like she was going to give herself a headache. Her eye's usual blood red color were starting to glow with a eerie purple. [6/7] At last the chakra was ready to erupt from her eyes and erupt it did. With a huge purple light that filled the room. Anyone with an active doujutsu would find them suddenly without. Assuming they weren't the Sakkakugan of course. [7/7] Nendo no Jaku [ Year of Weakness ] Learned
The next eye jutsu was one that found almost interesting. It seemed to be able to end bloodline techniques that were in the area. Lahlil found it curious how they were interact with jutsu that were already active however. [1/7] If she had to hazard a guess she assumed that they would already be created and that her technique would simply put an end to their manipulation. [2/7] Still really useful for anyone who put too much stock in their bloodline jutsu and Lahlil needed to defend herself from the. [3/7] Taking her chakra and flooding it into her eyes once again Lahlil made her first attempt at replicating the jutsu's effect. For some reason or another Lahlil found this jutsu much easier to practice. Maybe because she had already used it in a sense in the last jutsu and she could just copy it's form? [4/7] No it felt more than that. Almost like she held some strange connection to this specific jutsu over all of the others. Lalhil tossed this feeling aside. It was a bloodline jutsu and nothing more. How could she have something in common with it? [5/7] The chakra pressure in her eyes was nearly finished building up and instead of a purple glow this time, her eyes were filled with a blaring white light. Even despite her eyelids being closed. [6/7] Opening them to the world, the room was filled with a massive white light as her chakra that was being held back for so long was finally released like a tidal wave of force. Completely finished with her training Lahlil hopped toward her new friend Hanako just in time to watch her practicing some more of her genjutsu. Pulling the chair that she was previously sitting on back to it's originally spot in front of her genin ward. Lahlil crawled over the side of the arm into her resting place tiredly yawning. "As soon as you finish learning what you want let me know and we can go on some missions. I made sure to talk with the Lady Kazekage about some things she needed done."
Hanako rolled up the genjutsu scroll she had been working with and nodded to Lahil. "Understood, Sensei. I just need to practice a few ninjutsu to round this out, and we can get to work. Though, while I practice...I am curious to know more about you. Your likes, your dislikes, aspirations, what drives you? Those things are of interest to me.", she said simply, but with all of the respect and manners that one would expect of a good upbringing. A diplomatic figure to be certain, even without the use of jutsu to bend people to her point of view, her very essence seemed to exude some sort of regal charm.
Taking in hand a scroll of Lightning ninjutsu, Hanako began to study the essentials of the Raiton Element while she let her new friend and mentor think over the answers to her questions. The first technique she had to master was the Lightning Bolt technique. A simple jutsu, akin to firing a blast of fire, but more bent of stunning a target and numbing their body by the force of electrical current bursts. After studying the workings of the jutsu, she approached a nearby training dummy and assumed her stance. There was more to being a kunoichi than jutsu enchantments and breaking people's minds... She had to be able to break their bodies as well, if the action was required.
Hanako let out a deep sigh as she let her chakra manifest and surge to her hands, as she made the hand-signs before she then aimed a hand outward and fired a burst of lightning at the dummy. "Raiton : Rakurai no Jutsu...", she said calmly as the bolt of electricity jumped from her hand and impacted with the wooden training instrument. There was no conductive materials, but the force of the impact shook the dummy, and left her with a satisfied smile. If there were any issues with her form, she had confidence that Lahil would correct and guide her.
[D-Rank: Lightning Bolt Technique : Learned]
The next technique she wanted to learn came from another scroll, and so Hanako replaced the raiton scroll were she had located it, and picked up a katon scroll. The fire style offered her very little at the lower ranks, but there was the option of the fast movement and leaving flame trails behind her that seemed to appeal to the enchantress as flames could be used to further enhance illusions or later augment more fire ninjutsu. Katon : Shunshin no Jutsu was the technique in question, and she made sure to read over the instructions for it's learning in great detail before folding it up and clapping her hands together once with a determined look gracing her features. She would also physically attempt this one as well, as ninjutsu required more out of her than genjutsu.
Taking her place with some space away from any objects she might accidentally collide with, Hanako gathered her chakra to her feet, and grit her teeth as she prepared herself for the fast movement technique. Being able to enhance her ability to dodge was going to be key due to the fact that with her frail form, the Kurama clan enchantress could not afford to be hit with physical force. Like a pretty flower, she would be crushed under the weight of anyone who could be allowed to utilize taijutsu against her. The fire movement would allow her to keep her distance at the very least and maybe make following her harder. With the preparation complete, she kicked off and dashed with the force of her chakra, leaving a flaming trail behind her as she flickered a short distance. "Wow...I kind of liked that feeling just now.", she said in amazement at how the slight wash of wind along her form and the heat from her feet felt.
[D-Rank: Katon: Shunshin no jutsu learned]
With the basics of her ninjutsu training concluded for now, Hanako made a mental note to come back and practice some stronger techniques once she had gained a little more knowledge and skill to take on higher ranking abilities such as the Rasengan or the Chidori, both would be powerful techniques to add to her collection since she needed powerful jutsu to use to crush her enemies. She placed the scroll up and collected herself as she waited for further instruction.

Wrapping herself in her arms Lahlil snuggled up the side of the chair where she stayed, until the relaxation began to set in so deep that she was lulled into slumber. This was of course right up until the moment when Hanako mentioned wanting to know more about Lahlil. Eyes bolted wide apart, the drowsiness she felt felt mere seconds before was torn away like someone pulling the covers off you and exposing you to the brittle cold of the outside. Except Lahlil didn't find herself in the cold this time, no. For once she felt that milk warm cover drape over her shoulder. "Oh, Hanako.." Already tears were streaming down and Lahlil found it hard to speak past the lump in her throat. "N-nobody's ev-ever asked me that b-before." Desperately trying to wipe away the streaming tears with her palm, Lahlil wiggled out of the oversized chair to give the genin a hug. Lahlil put up a wobbly smile as she did. She didn't want give the impression that these were anything less then tears of joy.
A tiny cough slipped past her lips after she pulled back to help ease her voice. "Um.. sorry 'bout that. I'm happy you asked, honest! Uhm.. about your question well.. I don't really have an answer to what drives me, but if I had to give one right now. I would say that.. I just really want a home. " For the briefest of windows Lahlil's eyes became dull, as if she were staring off at something that was really far away. It would have only lasted a few seconds but someone as extraordinarily perceptive as Hanako would have undoubtedly caught it. Purple eyes re-focusing back on the young genin girl. Lahlil's usual happy-go-lucky attitude filled the cracks once more and completely eclipsed the tears that were pouring down her face just seconds ago. "If it's not too forward, may I ask.. what about yourself?" As she asked the crinkling of paper echoed softly about. Looking down at her hand Lahlil found she had been holding their debriefing this entire time. Having been reduced to a nealyr forgotten, crumpled mess after her crying fit. "Oh.. this uh.. were are our mission papers if you wanted to see them too." Biting her lip awkwardly, Lahlil handed the crumbled pile to Hanako.

Sadayo stood in a silent state of rejoice and inhaled a significant breath of relief. She held the the folded paper the kazekage deposited in her left palm. In disbelief, she forced a smile as she waited for the apparent news and compliments to settle in her mind. The puppeteer was humbled and made certain to offer a bow to the Lady Wind-shadow after she returned to her frontal position before the group.
The orders came that she work with Sonyo, as well, which actually were very pleasing to overhear. Sadayo held the belief to accomplish greatness that she must also associate herself with so before being able to mold others and Sonyo now held a respectable title that overlooked her... lack of leadership in that icy turmoil. With the two heads working together, a sense of order among the lower ranks could be established somehow.
The others had fairly spread themselves out now. Sadayo felt content to unfold the note and read it to herself. Her eyebrows rose slowly. The puppeteer blinked, raised her head, and feigned disinterest to dismiss any onlookers who may be curious of the significance of the note's contents. "YO SAIKO!" Was all that would betray the arrival of Karuto. He fell from the sky, as if he had been bounding through the village looking for the shinobi (That was exactly what he had been doing). Karuto landed on the ground next the Shinobi with a loud crash, kicking up a duststorm of stand. After it all settled, Saiko would find Karuto smiling down at him, hands on his hips "Me and you are heading to Konoha! Mission directly from the big lady herself!"
Saiko looked over his shoulder as he heard his name called out. As he did so he laid his eyes upon Karuto entering the area. Hard not to see a man that big. Once Karuto finished speaking he turned his head back towards lady Sonyo. ”Forgive me Miss Sonyo but, it seems my attention needs to be brought elsewhere. We can finish this conversation another time.” Saiko would say, smiling at the woman before turning his attention back to Karuto. The boy figured that Karuto would make a good teammate given his strengths were Saikos weaknesses and the a boy assumed it worked the same way for Karuto. ”I suppose we better get going then. Wanna brief me on the mission on our way there?”

Karuto placed a massive hand on the man's shoulders and gave him a thumbs up, grinning as he did so "I love your enthusiasm Saiko! No hesitation, just down for whatever life throws at you! Let's go and Heroically represent our village!" With a smile on his lips and fire in his heart, Karuto would walk with Saiko to the Gates of the village, briefing him on their diplomatic mission to the foreign village and the responsibilities Lilith entrusted of them by doing so
It was a moment to take a break and relax, something that did not come often for the young genin it seemed as she looked over the mission documents and considered what was in store for her next. "Seems okay.", she blinked as the question of her own goals was asked of her by Lahlil. Hanako's black orbs looked up from the crumpled mission document to the chuunin and a smile spread on her lips gently. "That should be obvious. I am doing my duty to my clan by being a kunoichi. The fact that I possess the Sakkakugan, in the Kurama family, means I am special... and to hide that talent would be criminal.", she said with a soft chuckle.
"But really, I just want people to admire me...Kind of selfish, huh?", Hanako asked as she looked to Lahlil now to see just how she would react to such a response. It was curious circumstance that had brought them together, but would there be a bond between the two? Hanako had issues making friends, but if this simply continued as a work relationship, it wouldn't make all that much more of a difference on her path.

__ Fwoosh! Zhroooooom! Tssshshshshhhhhhh, tap pat pap pat. The little blue ball of boundless energy flew onto the scene right out of top speed. She was getting better at stopping, as she barely avoided crashing into the academy doors again. "Whew... that was close!" Zhi sighed with relief then made her way inside to find this note that Ayame promised her. Zhi was going to be looking for one of the Kazekage's... summons? Zhi had to think hard for a moment to remember if she knew. 'Didn't a big ol' snake get brought to help catch that adorable tanuki? No... maybe not. I forget...' Ayame mentioned one by name, Oroiki, and that that particular one which she might be looking for was smaller than others. Zhi took a deep breath and extended her sensory range to the fullest while she was standing still inside the building. Anyone and everything with chakra within eighty kilometers would be well withing her notice. Since she was looking for summons, her focus narrowed more onto non-humans in, out, and around Sunagakure. Zhi was pretty sure that it was a snake she was looking for, so she would also prioritize snake-like creatures for her search. There probably wasn't another Sensory ninja who could use the Kagura Shingan to such epic extremes as her. This fact bolstered her pride not only as a Sunagakure shinobi but also as a member of the renowned Zenshin family.

__ Zhi's big, bright blue eyes locked onto the parchment that appeared before her. She snatched the paper from wisp of smoke and quickly read it over. "Hmmn... where wishes come true?" For some reason she couldn't sense the snake outright with her natural abilities. "I could use Piercing the Veil if Oroiki is using a technique to hide from me. But...." Zhi pinched the note a bit more tensely. Maybe it would be more fun to play this game of riddles without her usual cheats? Just knowing that she had an easy way to do the job was enough, for now. However, if it became too hard to figure this out then she'd just use her jutsu and get it over with. Zhi pondered out loud to herself as she kept rereading the riddle, "Maybe... a wishing well? Stars are also good for wishing. Hrrrrmmmn..." For now she'd just get moving again. Standing still for too long never settled well with her. Zhi took off back the way she came and then elsewhere into the village to find more clues.

Eyes wide and attentive, cold air drying the remaining tears on her face, and hands clasped in front of her Lahlil listened to Hanako's response on why she yearned to be a ninja. Her smile deepened even further as she seemed to have found a common ground between them. Ohhh how exciting! I'm finally making a friend and we have so many things in common! Putting her internal squeals aside, Lahlil bursted out. "I don't think that's selfish at all! I mean.. I for one would love to be liked by people. It's never really something I've had before.." Lahlil bit her lip in fear that she was oversharing at this point. She had always had trouble with spilling her emotions out in a single burst with others in the past. Most usually turned away thinking she was some kind of emotional maniac but she really just longed to have somebody that she could spoke to. Lahlil was determined not to mess this up like so many other things she had in her life. "Uhm.. anyways we should get to the shopping dome as quickly as possible! We still need to report in." Slipping through the doors Lahlil made her way out of the academy, setting a careful pace so that she didn't lose Hanako behind her.

Hanako looked to Lahlill with a lofted brow and a coy smile at her words of never really having people like her. For the Kurama clan prodigy, she knew well how easy it was to use genjutsu to bend the minds of those around her to achieve such a goal, but maybe her mentor did too? If she did, then the understanding of how hollow and insincere those bonds were would be a shared knowledge for sure. Though she followed along obediently. This would be yet another test of her skill.
