XNekoponX Dark Angel Ruki    NῘɠhtCʅan♦ ApprentῘce ♦ CurῘous and Stubborn Scorchpaw ((Hauntedheart seems pretty inactive, so I'm going to say that she treated Scorchpaw's wounds a bit and told her to get lots of rest, if that's okay with everyone? sweatdrop )) [Scorchpaw left the Medicine Den feeling a little better, but still tired.] I wonder how Brokensoul is doing? I did give him a bit of a wound when he was Shadow...[she thought with concern.] I'll go check on him...tomorrow.[she thought as she yawned. Going over to the Apprentice's Den, she licked her paw, then settled in for some rest. She hadn't slept in what felt like ages, so it wasn't long before she went into a deep, blissful slumber]Thex Celestial xRedx Light that Shines... Of Roses...

Silentkit
[Silentkit tumbled to the ground and stared at her brother, her eyes full of hatred and anger. She stared at Guardiankit, about to reply to him, ready to crush his dreams and hopes, when he picked her up again. She didn't want this! Why couldn't they just leave her alone? Sunkit deserved to hear what Silentkit had said, she deserved to see what she had done. What everyone had done! As her brother mentioned Lavenderrain's den, she was about to object, wanting to return to her corner in the nursery, when he started walking off only to be stopped by Sunkit. Silentkit slid into one of the nests as her sister removed her from Guardiankit's back. What did she want now? The white kit tried to stand, wanting to get away from her siblings, but fell back into the nest. As SUnkit spoke, Silentkit's eyes narrowed dangerously. She thought this was all it took to make it better? Some weak little speech to make her forgive her? Her sky blue eyes were cold and full of hatred as she gazed at her sister.]
"And what about me? While your precious little Rainkit needed a friend, I needed my sister! I don't care if you came back or not, because it's too late, Sunkit! I hate you! I hate you and Guardiankit and Leopardstorm and Father and even stupid StarClan! So leave me in peace and go away! Both of you!" she spat, making sure only her siblings could hear her. She then turned her attention on Guardiankit, ehr eyes just as cold. "And Guardiankit, wake up form your stupid dream and face the facts. I'm never going to be made an apprentice! I'm moving to the elders den as soon as Sunkit and you become apprentices whether you like it or not!"
[She glared at her brother, not caring if she was destroying his dream of helping her become a warrior. He needed to face the facts, something she had learned to do moons ago.The white kit gathered her strength and pushed up with her front legs. She needed to get away form her siblings, she needed to be alone again. Suddenly, she found herself up. Her front legs shook but managed to hold Silentkit's upper body off the ground as her lower body dragged. The white kit smiled and went to take a step, only to fall back into the nest. She shot Guardiankit and Sunkit a glare, warning them not to help. Determined, Silentkit pushed herself up again and was able to take a few shaky steps, dragging her lower body behind her. It was a slow process but at least she could move on her own. No more depending on her stupid brother. Finally, after a tiresome effort, the small kit made her way to the darkest corner of the nursery and collapsed. She took a few deep breaths and gazed around at the shadows in the corner. Silentkit stared down at her front paws and slid her claws out, running them along the wall of the nursery. Her gaze turned back to her siblings and she glared at them. She didn't need them, she didn't want them or their help.]

[Guardiankit blinked at his sister, her hatred bouncing off him like a pebble. He didn't care what she thought about that anymore-he thought he had made that clear. However, her claim of not becoming a warrior infuriated him, and his cheerfulness evaporated like water.]
"Whether you like it or not, Silentkit, we're here for you," he snarled.
[He walked right over to her, his eyes dark.]
"What, do you think you get special treatment jus' cuz your back legs are crippled? That we haven't suffered, too? Just because we don't have any physical ailments doesn't mean we're not hurting inside, too! We're orphans, Silentkit, and nothing will change that! You didn't come out to see mommy when they brought her back-she was covered in blood n guts n all kinds of terrible things! And I can't remember what she looked like! I can't remember how she talked! That stupid image of her all mangled on the ground has sucked everything away from me! But I do know this-she loved us. With all her heart. An' I bet she still does!
You think we left you on purpose? Sunkit's been all sad because of mommy's death! Don't you know that? Whether or not you loved mommy, we do! We still do! And when she died, who could we turn to? Our friends! We're just kits, Silentkit! We couldn't a thought you were feeling all blue too! You never even tried to say anything when we came back to sleep at night in the nursery! If you'd a told me you were feeling lonely, I woulda spent more time with you, but I thought you was okay because you never said anything! And now you're spouting all this stupid stuff about us abandonin' you?!
It's true, I was a bit upset that you was crippled at first, 'cuz I couldn't play with you. I didn't know what ta do with you-you never talked ta me anyway! But then I realized you are my sister, and I don't care what you say or do anymore. I will be your guardian! I will be your brother! And Sunkit will be your sister! It's not fair for you to sit there and shun us for 'abandoning' you! Can't you see? We love you jus' like we love our friends, and even more because you're all we have left! Don't treat us like we're dead before we've even died!
StarClan abandoned us too, Silentkit. They killed our daddy before we was born ((this is what they think D: )) and they killed our mommy before we coulda known her. But they made you crippled for a reason, I believe that with all my heart! You will find some use of it one day! For everything they take away, they give something in return, and just cuz you don't know what they've given you yet doesn't mean that it's hopeless!
'Sides, if StarClan was always with us, guiding us, what'd be the purpose of life? That's cheating, y'know! If we can't figure out our own problems by ourselves, we'd be helpless! They only warn us when they need ta. And if they haven't talked to you, it means you have to figure this one out on your own! You have ta learn what your gift is! I still dunno what mine is-but I sure hope it's better than sitting around and complainin'!
If you coulda walked like that tha whole time, well, I bet you coulda built up the strength ta walk around camp 'n stuff, but you still can try that now! An' if Lavenderstar sees you trying so hard, why, I bet she'd make you an apprentice faster 'n you could say 'mouse'! Maybe if you'da asked for help instead of waiting for it to be handed to ya on a silver paw ((...silver platter in catspeak hoho...)), you'd find how truly willing we'da been to help you out! But you never gave us a chance, Silentkit! You forsook us b'fore we could even try. And that's just not fair for you to blame everything on everyone else but yourself! It's just, just...just NOT FAIR!"
[Guardiankit sniffled, his silvery eyes growing hazy as he shook with emotion.]
"'S just not....fair..."
[The little kit collapsed on the ground next to his sister, covering his face with his little paws. He shook on the ground, curled up into a ball.
I'm terrible! If only I had realized she was hurting sooner! But it's not my fault. She never even tried to ask for it...]

((Yeah, I think Guardiankit is the first one to backtalk her))
[Silentkit stared up at Guardiankit, her eyes cold. She turned away from him, feeling her hatred growing in her. He thought he was so wise, he thought he knew what she was thinking, what she thinking but he didn't! He had no idea! She looked into the shadows of the den, hardly listening to her brother. He could say all he wnated but she wouldn't change, she wouldn't. Silentkit's claws dug into the nest and she glared down at her paws. She tried to take deep breaths, to calm herself, but it was like soemthing was just coming over her, filling her veins with deep hatred. Hardly thinking, Silentkit turned on her brother and slashed him on his cheek, her claws out.]
"Well life isn't fair and you can't protect everyone! It's about time you face it! I never said I wanted special treatment. Never. I have my beliefs, you have yours. I, for one, am not changing my thoughts or feelings. I'd prefer if you'd just go off and leave me alone! My life was a lot better before you started butting your stupid little nose in! I'm never going to be a warrior and you can't do anythign to help me! If you want to help me so much, then just leave me alone! You say you want to help me but you won't give me the one thing I want. Solitude. If you won't give me that, then you are breaking your promise," she snarled coldly.
[As he laid down next to her, Silentkit pushed him as far away as she could with one of her front paws. When would he get it into his head that she no longer wanted his help. Her blue eyes, which used to be so full of life and happiness, were now cold and dark. He needed to grow up and stop trying to protect everyone. Silentkit narrowed her eyes and hissed angrily.]

[Guardiankit snarled at her, switching back to angry again.]
"You weren't HAPPY!" he roared. "If you were so HAPPY you wouldn't be MAD at us for NOT talking to you! You'd be MAD at us FOR talking to you! You make NO SENSE. You're UNSENSICAL. UNSENSICAL. You're delirious or something! Too much of not talking with someone's made your brain all jumbled and I'm not leaving because you don't know what's right from left when it comes to your happiness and neither does anyone else so just deal with it because I'm staying right here so nobody touches you!"
[His eyes darkened.]
"If you were so much better off without us, your heart wouldn't be an untwistable knot. But so be it! I won't say another word to you until you apologize! And I'll make sure nobody else says anything to you for the rest of your life! Then you'll see what real solitude is like, you mean 'ol meanie! If you want to ruin your life, then I'm coming with you! But no matter what you say or what you do, I'm never giving up on you!"
Shoving his face in his sister's, he shouted, "NEVER!"
[True to his word, Guardiankit turned on Sunkit, his eyes blazing.]
"That goes for you too! Out! Get out! Leave her alone! She doesn't want you or me or anyone else!"
[He pushed his sister away angrily, his claws unsheathed. He hissed at her, swiping with his claws as a warning, then stomped back to his sister. He plopped next to her again, except this time his back faced her. He said nothing to her and curled into a sleep.
However, sleep isn't something one can command by force. So he lay there, silent and brooding, unable to let sleep lure him away from such troubles.]

Silentkit
[Silentkit glared at Guardiankit coldly. He'd understood soon, hopefully. Her blue eyes drifted to the cut she had made on his cheek before looking down at her claws. She let them tear at the nest, ripping the moss into pieces. She moved as far away from Guardiankit as she could and curled up. Letting her blue eyes close, she drifted quickly off to sleep, more then ready to escape the world for a little while.
At first, her sleep was peaceful and quiet but then things started to shift. she could see a cat, a white cat, resting in the dark corner of the den. The others kept far from her, not bothering to even look at her. Silentkit looked at the white cat and then the other cats. What was going on? The white cat turned her head toward Silentkit and the kit could see the she-cat's dull blue eyes. Her blue eyes. Is that... me? She looked at what appeared to be the older version of herself and then toward the other cats. She was alone, all alone. But that was good, right? It was what she wanted after all! Yes, that was right. She wanted to be alone and she had gotten it! Not even Guardiankit was bothering her! She liked this dream. The vision shifted and she was watchign a group of apprentices playing. She thought she saw her littermates wiht teh group but she ignored them. She watched them play and having fun, and she couldn't help but feel a pain of sadness. Was this what she was giving up? Silentkit glanced to the side and then up at the sky. Thoughts swam in her mind as she gazed up at the sky. The kit let out a sigh and closed her eyes. The vision suddenly shifted and she was back in the nuesery.
Sighing, Silentkit looked over at Guardiankit and shook her head. He'd give up eventually and then she'd be totally alone. That was good, right? Yes, yes it was. But... what about what she had saw. Did she really want to lead that life? The white kit pushed up with her front legs, trying not to disturb her brother. She slowly began to crawl to a small hole on the wall of the nursery, hidden behind some moss. She stumbled a few times but managed to make it to her way out. Quietly, she pushed the moss out of the way and slipped out of the hole. It took some effort, but she managed to get herself out of the hole and into the territory. She glanced around, unsure where to go, and then headed out. She forced her paws to keep moving. Her progress was slow but she was slowly moving away from the nursery. Silentkit let out a sigh and rested for a second, regaining her breath. Her front legs aches after such a short distance but it was such an effort for the crippled kit. Though, she wasn't going back, not yet.]

[Shadow let out a sly smile and thought.] I enjoy nothing more then the misery in cats of their pasts... [He thought to other things, smelling Scorchpaw's scent.] I should have killed that kit long before...but Brokensoul got in the way....hmmm...using Brokensoul has gained Nightclaw's trust, maybe the same can go for little Scorchpaw... [Shadow thought darkly and eyed Nightclaw shyly, pretending to act as Brokensoul would to any clanmate.] Just wait Scorchpaw...soon your end will come... +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ can change you...

Looking around, I spotted a frog hopping along and bounded ahead of the two toms and pounced, my paws barely skimming the ground. Killing it swiftly, I buried it and turned back to wink at Swansong before disappearing into the bushes]

"Oh really?" [I looked at curiously, but quickly ducked my head. I let a nice whoosh of exhaled air rush through my lips and I pretended to recline toward the ground. I'm a confident, angry, smooth cat. Right.] "Well... I guess you can... But uh... I'm a profession too. At important stuff. Like, it happens. All the time. For me." [I hastily added my last few pointers before looking triumphantly at Purepaw. 'Can't beat that.' I mused silently at her, before reclining again and trying to scrape pieces of dirt off the ground.]

[I padded away to the apprentice's den and fell asleep, my paws wrapped over my face.]

[I raised my head, looking around the Clan. I had settled outside the apprentice's den and was watching the Clan because of lack of sleep.
It was hard not to listen to the quarreling kits. They were shouting like there was no tomorrow, and the other warriors ignored it embarrassedly. When it came to Silentkit, nobody wanted to bother her. But my eyes were narrowed in worry. That kit needed some cheerfulness or something. The fighting died down and I let out a sigh.
Silentkit suddenly came out of the den, all on her own. I watched her with silent eyes as she dragged herself with struggle. I stood and padded over to her and sat a good distance away, letting her know I respcted her will to not recieve help. That's how she always was, after all.]
"I'll never understand you," I began, tilting my head at her. "And I never will. But I know how you feel, in this one instance."
Blinking, I added, "To be alone. And, truly alone. Where nobody can even look at you. Alone..."
[I looked behind me nervously. Am I really about to do this?]
Turning back to her, I continued in a low whisper catiously, "...I have a...secret place. Dug into the thicked behind the apprentice's den. You could...go there if you like. Only small cats can get through. It's only a short walk to the main open space for sitting and thinking. ((Within the thicket bush. It's a small circle that the path connects to.)) If you could make it there, I'm sure...nobody would bother you. Even me..."
[I turned, throwing her a final glance.]
"Don't tell anyone. I kinda like the fact that it's a secret. But feel free to go there when you feel...overwhelmed. I only go there sometimes..."
Before I left, I added, "Nice talking to you. It's the first time we've met, I think."
[I padded away then, re-entering the den with a sigh.
My belly was getting bigger and I knew it. It was only a matter of time before my true secret would become obvious...] ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire

xxxxxxxxxxThe silent and misunderstood warrior of NightClan. [A voice made me jump slightly. I looked up at Starkcloud for a moment blankly. A smile lit my face for a moment and I nodded. Good, good. I thought as if she would hear me. I looked over at Willowheart for a moment, watching as she disappeared somewhere. Oh.. I had forgotten about our hunting thing going on. I looked at Starkcloud for a moment, and gestured her with a flick of the head to follow me. We could use another hunter after all.
Without hesitation, I started out, further into the forest. I tested the air, creeping slowly out into the forest.]

[Silentkit stared up at Purepaw silently. She nodded as she watched the apprentice walk away. Maybe she would check out that place later, but now she had to keep moving. Forcing herself up again, Silentkit continued to walk farther from camp. The territory was amazing, so big and mysterious. The kit stopped for a second, taking a deep breath and letting the scents fill her nose. She let the cold air surround her and shivered slightly but kept moving forward. It was tiring but worth it. Glancing behind herself, Silentkit wondered if Guardiankit knew she had left. The kit had expected him to come running after her any second. She kind of missed him tagging along, even if he could be annoying at times. Silentkit shrugged and continued on, her front legs shaking with each step. The kit's body wasn't used to such activity for it had never experienced before. Her front legs ached but Silentkit forced herself to keep going.]

Finally, after a tiresome effort, the small kit made her way to the darkest corner of the nursery and collapsed. She took a few deep breaths and gazed around at the shadows in the corner. Silentkit stared down at her front paws and slid her claws out, running them along the wall of the nursery. Her gaze turned back to her siblings and she glared at them. She didn't need them, she didn't want them or their help.] ((no, no, that's okay! Don't worry about it. biggrin ))

Memories in the Mist Silentkit
[Silentkit stared up at Purepaw silently. She nodded as she watched the apprentice walk away. Maybe she would check out that place later, but now she had to keep moving. Forcing herself up again, Silentkit continued to walk farther from camp. The territory was amazing, so big and mysterious. The kit stopped for a second, taking a deep breath and letting the scents fill her nose. She let the cold air surround her and shivered slightly but kept moving forward. It was tiring but worth it. Glancing behind herself, Silentkit wondered if Guardiankit knew she had left. The kit had expected him to come running after her any second. She kind of missed him tagging along, even if he could be annoying at times. Silentkit shrugged and continued on, her front legs shaking with each step. The kit's body wasn't used to such activity for it had never experienced before. Her front legs ached but Silentkit forced herself to keep going.] (( Speaking of that, is it okay if he follows? :c I wasn't sure what I should do with him. He'll wake up 'n be like "OH NOSE" and fly out of camp so...inconspicuously. x3 ))
