Slowly, the Watchtower fills up, with people talking quietly among themselves...some sharing small talk with people they haven't seen for a long time, others offering condolences, and still others sharing memories of the deceased.
He notes which suspects in the murder have arrived...Virgil Hawkins, Lar Gand, Jennifer Walters.
Bigby listens to it all, leaning against the wall, remaining alert. He looks at the clock.
They'll be asking people if they want to speak, pretty soon here...

*Spider closes his laptop for a minute, having finished recording the basics; who came, who they sat with, the usual. He gets up to stand in front of the windows and takes his glasses off to rub at his eyes. There was too much tension in the room. People wanted an Agatha Christie ending, they wanted Hercule Poiroit to finger the assassin during the eulogy. Spider glanced over at Bigby, trying to glean something off his impassive face and getting nothing.*

Closer to the front, Virg fidgets between sniffles, glancing around surreptitiously every now and again, mostly toward Bigby, but occasionally elsewhere to make sure Aquaman doesn't show up to boot him out of the Watchtower.
Unable to make more than a brief glance toward the coffin, Virg sighs, waiting for the speakers to take their turn.

Looks at all the people around. Thoughts of all the good times she had with Wally flooding both her mind and her heart. He was her one, her only, the love of her life. And now.. now he was gone. Killed and to make matters worse the person responsible has yet to be caught. Linda felt a hand placed gently on her shoulder. It was Jay Garrick, Wally had once introduced him to her. She knew him as a friend, Linda then feels a gust of wind as another, smaller speedster stood beside her. It was none other then Kid Flash. Linda looked up at Jay with watery eyes.
" Jay..."
She then began crying on Jay's shoulder as both the original Flash and Kid Flash tried to comfort her.

Finally moving from his spot, Bigby makes his way over to the widow. He stands there, looking a bit uncomfortable (for him) as Mrs. West composes herself.
Are you going to hold up?
She nods and swallows.
Then, I guess it's you, then. Go up there, and say what you feel, and I'm sure others will want to say their piece after you.
He hesitates, then puts a hand on her shoulder.
Don't worry. I'm watching them all.

*Spider leaned against the glass, content to stay there. He wasn't a superhero, this wasn't really his gig. He was here to pay respects and to make sure it got recorded properly. The uzi in his laptop bag was in case things got out of hand.*

Linda dried her tears and was ready to get up to speak in front of the crowd. Bart took her hand, she knew it was his way of trying to tell her that everything would be okay. She squeezed his hand gently and he squeezed back and faked a smile towards her as Jay escorted her up front. Linda closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths.
" Wally was a good man. The best, those of us knew him knew that he always wanted to do the right thing. To live up to the Flash legacy and he did. In Keystone he did everything he could to protect the city. In the Justice League he worked hard to gain the respect of his fellow team mates. In the Titans he was always willing to do whatever it took to help a friend. He didn't just do this because he was the Flash, it was just the kind of person Wally was. He always knew when to be serious and when to crack a joke. Wally wanted nothing more then to make the world a better place. He had great respect for the other heroes and would always talk about the Titans like they were family. Wally was a good, kind , caring, and supportive husband. Though I must admit my biggest fear was that one day Wally would run away from me and never come back... well he has run away in a sense. Wally was the best thing that ever happened to me... and just knowing that his killer is still out there running free..."
Linda then broke down and both Bart and Jay stood at her sides trying to help her..
" I'm sorry.. I just.. I can't.."
Linda was leaning on Jay crying.

*Spider stared out at the crowd, anywhere but up on the podium where the widow was. He wanted a cigarette, was having a craving. No, the craving wasn't for a cigarette it was for some quality time with the perpetrator. It was bad enough that Bigby had the case locked up so tight he couldn't touch it, but now here he was watching the widow break down without even some photos to give her after the service. Just a short piece about how his friends remembered him. Spider remembered Vita Severn.*

A couple of tears stream down Virgil's downcast face as Linda is helped down from the altar, but hesitating to offer any help himself, Virg awkwardly sits back down. The room was full of suspects, and he was sure that his was one of the last faces Linda would want to see right now.

The four Legionnaires stood up and walked to the front of the room. Cosmic Boy took the lead and spoke first.
"Many of you are unfamiliar with myself and my friends. We are from the future. My name is Rokk Krinn, but my codename is Cosmic Boy. The four of us are just small part of a team called the Legion of Super-Heroes. A thousand years from now, we will be inspired by the heroics of some of the people in this room to take action. One those people would be the Flash. His exploits and his deeds will still be legendary our time. By trying to exceed his own limits, he caused others to do so as well. Thoughout the centuries to come, humanity will never forget the Flash. Today, we would like you all to know that the Flash is not dead. He lives inside of me, and all Legionnaires. Even though he doesn't run in front of us, he still runs with us."
Valor opened his hand and handed XS something.
"You give it to her."
XS walked to where Mrs. West was sitting and kneeled down in front of her.
"Mrs. West...Linda, I know we haven't met but I want you to know something. Wally was more than just an legend to me. He was my cousin. My name Jenni. Jenni Ognats. I'm Barry Allen's granddaughter. I met Wally only once, when he needed some help. I gave him my speed. He was incredible. He made me want to be a better hero."
XS opened her hand and offered a ring to Mrs. West.
"To honor your husband, the Legion has awarded honorary membership to him posthumonously. We want to give you this Legion flight on behalf of the entire team."
