Ral Roke Johnny Malone Ral want to go wassailing with me on Christmas eve? We could get a group together. Wassailing is caroling, right? I did just get some Christmas music for my sax last weekend. I even practiced a few songs the last night. Yeah but better. Caroling means we leave after a song or two, traditional wassailing (which is what I would do) means we sing till they pay us to leave!

I think I need to know more than just the refrains of most songs to do that. Or I could butcher enough songs with my sax and get the same result. Although I am better than I thought I would be after not playing a note in 2 1/2 years.

The number of full songs I know can be counted on one hand. sweatdrop But enough song fragments to play some fairly epic medleys. ^^;;

Well if you butcher the songs it just means we will get paid faster. (Or the cops get called because we are being a disturbance)

I'll just have to trip you up then. Or find someone slower than me.
On second thought I'll just trip you up.

Nothing says you're taking the fall like a sax to the face, right Ral?

It's my sax. I'd like to see you rip it from my hands and my neck.

I know, my asking you the question was me implying that you were going to smash me in the face so you could get away while I am the one who has to deal with the cops.

I recover quickly from blunt force trauma to the face, then I'll just run him down and kick him with my steel-tow boots.

Sorry, not thinking. Happening a lot lately. The point was that it would be harder to find someone slower than me than it would be to knock you down. Besides, I wouldn't want to damage my sax on that hard head of yours.

If you hit me with the sax I wouldn't worry about playing anything ever again....

Yeah because I'll never be able to afford another instrument. Oh wait were you thinking of another reason? 'Cause I sure as hell can't think of another one.

Ral, your slow, it would be slick out, and I have steel-toe boots. You'll slip and lets just say the rest is history. Of course all of this is speculation, let's just hope people will give us money out of the kindness of their hearts for our "wonderful" playing! mrgreen
