I know it sounds like a lot, but it's really not much when I only work 2 hours a week....... on an active week.....

Time to beat up on the manager and demand more hours. I tend to be working 30-40 hour weeks lately. Though with the christmas rush done the whole store is getting cut back. I'm going to be averaging about 20-25 hours a week for a bit.

I'd like to be working around 30 hours a week, but this job isn't conventional.

I'm a tutor, working for a tutoring agency, that deals with only one student right now. Basically, I only meet with the student for one hour sessions twice a week, and more or less the guy chooses if we do or don't meet :/ I'd be willing to meet for long sessions, but he doesn't need that much help.

So yeah.... I could take on another student, but I think it'll be better if I get a job where I can work a lot more hours rather than have a higher pay rate.

Well if you want more hours, go retail. Though right now, I doubt much of anyone is hiring. After christmas, they get rid of a bunch of seasonal hires and usually wont hire anyone new for a few months. Unless you get lucky. But odds are you'd work a lot. My wages just went up cause of the raise in minimum wage...So now I'm back at minimum wage, but at least its more than i was making. 7.93 an hour.

Most of what I'm applying for is around 7.50 an hour. Even if I can't work a whole lot of shifts, any experience I get will make it easier in the future to obtain another job. Right now most of my applied jobs are cashier or drink/food maker. I'll try to find some more retail jobs though.

Cashier is fun! That's what I am...Though I can do most anything in the store really. Cashiering is my best skill...And yes...I'm so good at it, it has become it's own skill. I dont just ring up stuff...I add my own style and flare to it. Tossing items across the scanner with left hand to catch them with my right...after they fly over the scanner and get rung up in mid air...Tossing around those little dividers people put on the moving belt...entering the amount of cash given to me incredibly fast and accurately, always aware of whats going on on the computer screen. ^_^ It's fun.

Is coffee required to make you well again or is alcohol not the root of your problems?

I work 30-40 hours a week. 7.72, and working my way to Journeyman.

I'll find a better job eventually, but right now, I can't afford to change. Rent is a must.

As for the sides to take, I'm by myself. Too new to pick a side.

30-45-50 hours a week making $13.29 an hour! So, step one through, what was it three, complete! I have now aquired previously mentioned vehicle, though it's hardly bad a**...it runs though so that's all that counts. As well as a rather homely appartment which my lovely, oh so beautiful, girlfriend will be arriving at on the 9th of January. Which leaves steps seven through ten, which will be an enevitability.
