yeah usually a model paint set comes with a clear bottle of cleaner that's used to clean the brushes with.

I usually do the dish soap/bar soap thing but the paint ain't coming out of these brushes. That's what you get for using good stuff.
And that's also what I get for not buying the kit...but it was expensive and didn't have all the colors I wanted and I don't want unused paint jars sitting around everywhere.
I believe it's water based...but apparently DO NOT use it on nylon brushes...I ruined a good brush. And my hands are still stained. Soap and water doesn't cut it much general friction and apparently sleep do. This stuff if tough.
Good thing I'm going to the store tomorrow on my way to the airport. Pick me up a bottle of cleaner fluid. You know what...I almost picked up a bottle but thought I could cheap the system.
Bad me. Cleaner and new brushes specifically for model paints. Pity, I have all those acrylic brushes I don't use anymore but they're all nylon I think. Have to check them out.

If they were cheap brushes then they are probably nylon. Do you have a place where you can pick up a good hog hair brush?
*thinks* Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever even owned a real hair brush. But I'm not much of a painter anyway.

Yeah, I have a good place. I'm going to pick up some sable hair brushes, want a softer feel to my brush for these. I just have a thing against spending $3 for one brush and it's hard to get real hair brushes at a cheap price, let alone in a pack. I'd order online...but I'm a brush toucher. xd

...I think I remember my Art Fundies teacher saying the best hog hair brushes were like, 50$ bucks a piece. Course...that's probably a little less for you Americans.
*grumble off topic grumble* Stupid recession, jakin' up the grocery prices. I paid 12 bucks for some hot dogs, bread and a bottle of ketchup the other day. And to think we could almost instantly bump ourselves out of it if we cut the working week from five days to four days.
*sigh* Three day weekends...all the time. That would rock.

Probably only like $30-40, which is still too much for a single brush.
And all I have to say about that is thank god for dollar tree stores. They are so much love. Also, I would love three day weekends...think of the sleep.
Hell, I had my mom take my debit and credit cards yesterday so I wouldn't pull them out. One is jacked up with vet bills and the other I only have $100. Good thing my bills were already paid.
Used grad. money to buy myself artsy things instead of using my card. Good times.

*pets* Don't worry until a month has passed. Then you can check if you wish on your report status. There's a lot of scamming crap going around right now and the line is long. Unfortunately you have to wait in line behind the people that fall for scamming crap. Which is a lot of nooblets. Patience is key.

Well...you'll have lots of fish drops? Hopefully some really good ones in the mix.
Kris is having a severe family health issue, but I know exactly what is going on with him. He's actually out of country at the moment dealing with said issue. However he is coming home soon and if I remember right he's wanting to get back into the scene as he misses the fun and all of us as well. I think he's coming home this week but I can't promise you anything this week from him.
Fear not, Kaznec will be back in action as I hear it. Though if needed yes I will plot push some. Not that we're in a hurry...Hunter has a literal boat load to learn. Which I am very amused by. twisted
As for JT...I really couldn't tell you.
