Atem looked surprised. Something was odd about Rei, he knew, but hadn't ever asked what. Her accent was off, so she was clearly from another place. Was that how they did it there? "Well... I suppose. I mean, it couldn't do any harm. Right? It won't do anything bad to either of you?" The brunette looked slowly to Ayira. He was wanting a new name, but didn't know what. He guessed he would just have to deal with being called 'Seto'. "I was told the pharaoh wanted to see me. Is this the wrong place?" "Nope. We're all just waiting on him." Bakura said, studying the priest oddly. He spoke to Ayira next. "Does he still have the Millennium Rod?" This man, this shell of the priest, didn't deserve a Millennium item. Was he still a priest? It was probably too early to decide on something like that.

Bakura went over to Seto, setting Femi down. He narrowed his eyes slightly at the priest, remembering everything Seto had done before, to him and Rei. He had nearly killed them both. And his children. But then there was a change. Bakura looked over at Ayira. This woman. Was that really all he had needed? Now there was this thing. This shell. How did Bakura know he wouldn't become the former priest, the one who had tried to kill him time and time again? He could kill Seto easily, right now. Seto was slightly intimidated by this man, Bakura, but didn't step backwards. To do that, he knew, would show submission. He glared at the white haired man, standing up a little straighter. "Get away from me." He growled, his voice low. He didn't like this. "Here we are." Atem remarked happily as he held open the door for Nanu. He was surprised to see everyone there already. "Did we really take that long?" He asked sheepishly, not noticing Bakura and Seto's anger.

Ayira steped beside seto watching bakura carfuly. She dident like the look on his face.
Femi pouted as she was set down and followed her father.
"No fighting" Nanu said noticing the two.

Bakura turned slowly as the pharaoh and his wife entered. He hadn't been told yet, but he guessed that they were married. Was she queen, or just his wife? Bakura would ask Rei later. To the pharaoh, he bowed mockingly, making Atem look a bit nervous. "Good morning, pharaoh. I hope we haven't interrupted anything of importance." Atem sighed at Bakura's somewhat sneering tone. It seemed that the thief still disliked him. He was already practically attacking Seto, and now this? Atem sincerely hoped Bakura's visit wouldn't be long. He fought to remain cheerful. "Oh, nothing much. Nanu has to go to the women's center tomorrow so we were enjoying the day together. What did you come for, Bakura?" Seto relaxed slightly when the white haired man's attention was turned towards the pharaoh. It was the pharaoh, he could tell. That hair was unforgettable. The brunette seemed a bit surprised to find Ayira next to him; he hadn't noticed her come closer.

Femi who was at her fathers feet giggled "Hi Hi!" she said waving.
Nanu smiled softly at the child "hello little one."
Femi stood her tougne out at nanu "I not little! I Big!"
Rei chuckled softly.

Bakura hesitated slightly, and then a change passed over his face. He smiled more, instead of just sneering. Back to his normal human self, it would seem. "I took off a bit early yesterday. I never got my chance to express thanks. Not that you did anything." He glanced towards Seto. "You think of using your Millennium Eye on him?" He asked, nodding at Nanu. "The key might be better, though. Just to root around in there and see if his memories can be found." Atem was on guard. First Bakura was being mean, and now he was being helpful? He didn't know how to react. "Um... Well, we hadn't exactly started thinking about him yet. It's not even been one day yet. There's plenty of time." The brunette narrowed his blue eyes. They were talking about him. They were talking about the old him. Just talking as though he wasn't just standing there. How irritating.

"Wow. People are angry today." Atem said, rubbing the back of his head. He turned to look towards Seto and Ayira, and a thought came to him. "Now, sir, I know you don't remember anything. At least, that's what you've told us. But a pharaoh can't be too sure. In any case, you have performed black arts, whether you remember it or not, and that is highly illegal without getting the consent of the pharaoh. Especially what you did. You're under arrest, of course. You will be brought down to the dungeons in a little bit, where I will decide on your ultimate fate later on." "What?" The brunette asked, narrowing his eyes. Did this man actually expect him to just accept this lying down? No. He knew what the dungeons were. He knew what being sent to them meant. Why now? Why would the pharaoh call him down here, in front of these strangers, to tell him that he was sending him away to rot? "You can't be serious. I've got nothing to do with this affair." Bakura widened his eyes slightly. That was... unexpected. He felt the need to stand up for Seto, since he was the one who brought him back and all, but didn't. That b*****d had been rude earlier. Well, he had started it, but he didn't like the priest. He caught Rei's eye, realizing that this was really none of their business. Palace stuff was to be limited to the palace people.

"Punishment, sweetie." Bakura said, bending down and scooping his daughter up. "I'd never let anything bad like that happen to you. But see, when a person does something really, really, terrible, they will sometimes have to be killed. So they don't do anything bad in the future." "I can't be sure he's really lost his memory." Atem said, shaking his head. Seto had been a great actor. "Even if he has, I have to take action. A crime has been committed, and he's the one responsible." Atem didn't know why he had decided to sentence Seto right then, but it was his decision and he was sticking with it.

"He isent faking it! he wouldent do that! Why would he bring me back because he missed me and then pretend to not know me? it makes no since!" ayira yelled angery.

"Would you rather have me wait?" Atem snapped, angry as well. "Would it be better if, on some off chance that the real Seto got back, and then punish that one? I'll go easy on this guy because he doesn't know. Just a few weeks alone. But if I don't punish him, and instead wait for the real priest, I'd probably have to order his death." He didn't understand why Ayira was reacting to this so strongly. She didn't even know this one. Yes, he had just acted on an impulse, but he was going to stubbornly stick with his plan. Bakura rolled his eyes at their bickering. This could be made easier if there wasn't the whole memory issue in play. Nanu would be able to confirm that the priest's memory loss was genuine, but what then? Oh well. It wasn't his business. He patted Femi's head. The brunette had been stunned to silence. This wasn't his fault. None of this was. How was he supposed to know what this other, this 'real' Seto had done? Why was he responsible?

"Fine." Atem said, in a completely calm tone that was nothing like how he had been sounding just moments earlier. He crossed his arms over his chest. "I suppose you're telling the truth. It isn't fair for this one since he can't remember. But now I'm going to do my best to get the real Seto back and he's going to be the one in trouble." He looked over at Seto, wishing like hell this guy didn't look so much like his cousin. "Yes, they do. Of course, I can yell louder. I'm just not immature enough to do that." Bakura said, then paused when he heard the pharaoh speaking. He choked slightly. The pharaoh was suddenly agreeing with Ayira? Had the world come to an end?
