Gihen stumbled slightly over the starting point. His feet had given out from under him at one point. It doesn't look too good right now though. His face is covered in dirt and there was an inch long cut into his right cheek. He cursed under his breath as he looked ahead. 7 laps to go. He had to get stronger. This was the only way. Yet, he still wanted to continue is studies with puppets and such. Maybe the library would help. eh, after this. He was almost done anyway. Just a little farther and he'd be done. Gihen would be happy as hell when this was over anyway.

Asuri didn't wait for Kazuya's answer but continued her sprints around Konoha. "This better come in handy some day." she said as she continued to run. Her legs wanted to just come out from under her. "I have to keep going if I want to go to class tomarrow." She ran as fast as she could, completing her fourth lap.

This time Gihen's right knee gave out and made him tumble on the ground for a few feet. He muttered a curse under his breath quickly and clutched his arm.
'Damn freakin running! I've got a cut and a messed up knee. I do not need this right now...' he thought.
He slowly got to one knee and sighed. His day wasn't going very well at all. He was almost done anyway. a few cuts and bruises were natural anyway. Missions would really screw him up. He just knew it to begin with. He got to his feet and slowly continued jogging past the starting point and going on ahead.

Suzume smiled as she saw Gihen, Vincent, Asuri and another student running. She was so releived she was already done. she waved her fist in the air and said "Go, go, go! You can do it!" She had some energy left to burn from all her sitting down so she decided to cheer on her team mates, "If I did it so can you!"

Asuri laughed softly hearing Suzume's words. "I know I know." she said with a giggle as she rounded another lap. "Only fifteen more to go before morning." she said continueing to run.

"Woohoo! Left, right, left right! Keep going! You can do it! Go! Go! Go!" Suzume smiled as she saw the students run, she wished they'd all finish well. She didn't care if she looked like an idiot right now, "go! go! go!"

Gihen sighed and shook his head. She's just fast. His speed would have to increase to match hers. Oh well, he's got nothing to worry about when it coes down to thinking. Right now, he feels like the top in his class for it. His mind works better than his body, that's definately true. Just looking at Gihen you could tell. His hair is always messy, not cut short, his eyes have a dull look in them, like he's been reading way too much, and he's just plain lazy. You could point at him and say weakling. He wouldn't mind though. That's just his attitude anyway. He passed the starting point again and continued jogging.

Gihen was laughing at himself in his mind. His body was beinning to wear down and collapse on him. He was ready to curse himself off, but decided not to. He was having too much fun with this. He was finally learning his limits and abilities through this exercise. Wait! That was it. That's what the sensei wanted to see. What was each of their individual limits and talents? That crazy sensei. Gihen shook his head and smiled, still jogging. He was a sly one alright. He would have to remember that next time he asks a question. Maybe Gihen could puzzle the teacher with one of his questions. That would be fun indeed. He passed the starting point and decided to try and sprint this time.

Vincent kept running, though people passed him. Too slow idiot!, he thought to himself as he forced himself to run quicker and quicker. He was ahead of only one student, and she was cheching up to him quickly.

You could swear that Gihen had the endurance of a chuunin or something. Because his mind is so filled with questions and ideas that he had no time to worry of pain or annoyances. This is probably why he's so quiet all the time, it must be because of all of those questions and such. Who knows what else is going on up in that little head of his. If he said all of them, Konoha would be flooded with talk of designs and ideas. Eh, Gihen never thought of himself like that though. While his mind wandered, he passed the starting point and began jogging again.

He passed the log for the fifth time around and started again forcing himself to go faster. His glasses fell off and were heading to the ground but Vincent quickly bent down and grabbed them from the air and set them on his nose, covering his green eyes. The right side of his stomach started to hurt, he clenched it tightly and kept running. A sign of dehidration, he thought running at a steady pace then getting faster.

Gihen stretched his arms as he continued to jog lightly. He barely used his arms, but he should be. Kugutsu no Jutsu requires extended time with using one's arms. Gihen couldn't believe what he'd have to go through for this. Oh well, he'd have to grin and bear it wight now. Condiioning himself was the best idea at the point. If he's not conditioned properly, then he could endanger his life or others on a mission. He shrugged the idea off and continued to jog.

Gihen stumbled a couple times from slamming into the wall after tripping on a rock. He was getting beat up today. Plus, his head was hurting like hell right now. That sensei was getting on his nerves now. These laps were meant to annoy him, weren't they? Either way, Gihen was getting freakin pissed off at his sensei. At least tomorrow, he hoped, would be easy. Maybe some questions or something. Yeah, sure. That or he'll get his a** kicked by the sensei in a taijutsu lesson. He smiled with that thought on his mind. Maybe the sensei could teach him some taijutsu some time. Taijutsu would definately help him if he didn't want to use up chakra. He continued jogging as he passed the starting point again.

Gihen kicked off of the ground as he passed the starting point. He was happy that he'd finally was on the last lap. His body was numb right now from the waist down. He'd been running so much, his legs were hurting like hell. He passed the forest and ran his hand against the wall. The forest wasn't as bad as it was in the beginning. He'd gotten used to the loneliness and darkness of it. Maybe missions out in it wouldn't be so bad. He shrugged and looked ahead. He was almost done. He only had a little more to go and he was finished.

Gihen stood on the starting point and flung his arms in the air.
"Damn it! Finally finished!!"
He tried to turn, but collapsed on the ground laughing.He laid there for a few second before standing up quickly. He stepped back inot the village, waving to the others, as he made his way back to the Academy. As he did, he ran his fingers through his hair and smiled. He'd completed the assignment and passed the test. He was feeling great right now. Hopefully the next lesson would be questions. His best area.
