-In an effort to avoid having to explain anything to Duellist, the girl abandoned his side as to find out what Kinpoko was doing.- What are you looking for, Kinpoko? -Hmm.. perhaps the semi-furry Mimi could be of some help!-

Kinpoko suddenly jumps up, and turns to face Mimi. Her fingers had three bottles on them, and her legs had strange lumps. She looked odder than she normally did.

"Oh! I'm looking for faux fur! Can you help me? I'm making a costume of a Mijaknak."

Kinpoko knows that Mimi wouldn't know what a Mijaknak is, but that's why she was looking for the fake fur, and she really didn't like to lie too much. But, she really didn't want to have to explain what it was... she just wanted fake fur!

][I'm so brain dead..x.x; It seems everyone else is too, though.][

Woosh! It only took him a matter of minutes to reach the hot springs he and Mimi were at the previous night, there he found his clothing. A pile of darkness is what it was! Hastily, he would throw on his black toshirt, and begin to run along, stumbling a bit trying to throw his pants on whilst he ran.

][I'm going to let Mimi and Duellist speak for a while. >>][

((Yeah.))

Duellist ran his hand along the blade of one of his knives. "Can you do me a favour, Mimi?" He asked, carefully. "I need you to talk to Taryn."

-Mimi frowned, glancing over her shoulder after Kinpoko had just up and vanished.- You haven't spoken to eachother yet? -As she spoke, she raked her fingertips through those silver locks in an effort to tame them. It was rather difficult considering the fact that she'd slept for a day and a half. Lots of knots!-

"..." He shook his head. "No. I don't trust myself. We're talking... but... not about what I told you. And I don't know if I can..." He sat down, and looked incredibly tired.

-Mimi chewed on her lip, turning around to face him again. She idly scratched her left calf with her right foot.- Have you tried writing her a letter or something of the sort? I wouldn't know what to say to her myself..

((e.e I need Fizzle juice to unfizzle my brain.))

The vampiric assassin shook his head. "I can't write it. I need someone else... someone who can say these things... I'm sorry, but you're the only person who I would even think of..."

(( forgot to post. e.e I mean, I had it done but I didn't click submit.. I swear I did, though.))

-The girl sighed, nodding faintly. She understood that it must be hard for someone like him to acknowledge and come to terms with something along the lines of compassion and remorse--emotions that she could only assume he'd been lacking for a long, long time. He'd gotten used to it, perhaps, and now didn't know how to put what he felt into words...let them out into the air on his own.

But what was she to do? What was she to say that he couldn't? Mimi was, after all, just another creature and in an essence it felt wrong to speak for somebody else. So why her? Of all people in the Hyde, why did he choose to confide in her... to ask Kyaroru for help?

The girl blushed at his words, unused at having someone approach her for help doing something so important. For years she'd felt insignificant...stupid...unworthy of completing even the most menial of tasks simply because it had been drilled into her head for so long.

And now Duellist was asking her for help in a very delicate task. For a moment, that Kusanagi felt unsure of herself and completely lost but she knew that to deny him the help he desired would have been the worst thing she could do.- I'll try....I sincerely will try...but I can make no promises.... I have never done anything like this before.

((It's okay!))

Duellist looked like a weight had lifted from his shoulders. "Thank you, Kusanagi." He said, smiling. "Really, you're the only person I'd have chosen. Thank you..." He rose to his feet and bowed, gratefully. "She's in the bar, right now..." He paused, as if struggling with something inside him. "Mimi... if you ever need... anything, I'll be glad to help."

He paused. "For half price... I mean, you know..." He looked like he was fighting a vicious internal battle. "For free..." He snapped a salute off, suddenly, and moved to wait by the stairs for Hakan.

-Mimi smiled a bit, sighing. Thank you, Kusanagi It made her cringe a bit, the way he'd referred to her then. There'd been only one person in her whole life who referred to her last name as her first name Daisuke. Among their kind, it had been a form of an insult, but Mimi knew Duellist did not mean it that way. There was absolutely no way he'd know what it meant anyhow.

And so she made her way across the lobby, the coldness of the room making its way up her spine as it was soaked up by her feet. Perhaps she should start sleeping with socks on... or the very least keep a pair of slippers at hand.

Mimi paused before entering the bar room, however, violet eyes studying her reflection on the doors. She had to be at *least* presentable! Again she raked those hands betwixt her hair, taming it down the best she could and then pulled down the tanktop over the drawstring waist of her jammmies. Mimi even went as far as to breath into her palm before entering. Good, no stinky breath!

Once she was done, she entered the room, eyes scanning the place.- Taryn?

A little stressed. -She confessed, allowing her small form to take residence on a stool next to Taryn's figure. - The Hyde isn't very well financially, but I've come up with a plan....

-Her voice trailed off then. She hadn't come into the room to talk about her own problems, but those that was definately hindering a relationship. And wether the vampires liked them or not, they'd become a part of Mimi's family. She hated to see them so..off..hurt.

Are you okay? No, that wasn't going to work. I heard about what happened... No, not that either...Mimi didn't want to make it seem like Duellist would rather confide in her than Taryn. It wasn't the case.- Do you want to talk?

-Yes, that was much, much better.-
